Q:   Will there be supplementary exam in 2025 for Karnataka SSLC?

A:

Karnataka education board is all set to remove the concept of supplementary exams for SSLC (Class 10). Instead, the Karnataka Board has decided to introduce ‘three annual examinations’ namely Exam 1, Exam 2 and Exam 3 for SSLC board exams. In the present examination system, the Board conducts supplementary exams for students who fail in one or two papers in Karnataka SSLC Exams. Under the revised module, students will get opportunity to improve their score by retaining the best marks scored in the first, second and third examinations, and provide better opportunities in the selection process for further study or employment. By renaming the ‘supplementary exams’ as ‘exam 1, 2 or 3’, three opportunities can be provided to the students which will promote their overall performance and positive attitude.
