Historically good infrastructural legacy but poor maintenance. Overall satisfied with my stay.

Placements: Placement was very active and student participation was an integral part. The placements for our batch was mostly from it/itis profile with TCS bring the bulk recruiter. As compared to our seniors more students were placed from our batch. Long internship were not possible due to curriculum structure but short in plant training were mandatory, like mine at FCRI, Palakkad. The highest package- 12lpa (electrical) Avg package 4.5 LPA the lowest -3.3lpa Other than TCS major recruiter were envestnet, ...

A review of NSS College of Engineering.

Placements: Most of the placements are from IT-based companies. Core companies are very less, and service-based companies are coming and doing mass recruitment. MRF conducted a pool drive which was conducted in the other government college. The placement cell is operating well. They are conducting training programs and improving the quality of students.

A good learning experience with its own limitations.

Placements: A good percentage of students got placed from our batch as well as our senior batch. The corporate giant, TCS was the largest recruiter with recruiting nearly 183 students. Majority of the recruiters are software companies offering a salary package ranging from 3.25 to 4 lacs per annum. The placement cell is actively coordinating the placements every year. Pre-placement training and talks conducted by them were very much helpful for placements.

A short yet brief review of NSSCE by a 16' graduate.

Placements: Placements were average. Tata Consultancy Services was the major recruiter. Other than that a few IT sector and core companies had visited as well, including QBurst Technologies, Wipro, Mu Sigma, etc. The highest pay for a student was 18LPA. Most other companies offered an average of 3LPA. A placement cell is present there. They were actively communicating with various companies to persuade them to visit the college.

Absolutely satisfied with the college.

Placements: I got placed in Tata Consultancy Services Limited in September 2015. A few other companies like Cognizant, Suntech, Envestnet, Infosys, etc. visited our campus for placements. Most of them were the mass recruiters who took more than 100 students. We were happy to get placed in these privileged companies.

Satisfied with the infrastructure, but dissatisfied with the faculty members.

Placements: The college offers no placements. Some campus interviews are conducted, and if you are lucky and talented, you can get a chance to continue your studies and work simultaneously. The interviews conducted are mainly for B.Sc. computer science students. BBA and B.Com students don't have any interviews.

The college provides a good opportunity for the students to learn.

Placements: More than 100 placements are offered with an average package of 4 LPA. Seniors tell us that the placements are good. We hope to get placed in the campus placements. Mostly, TCS is the mass recruiter. TCS offers a salary package of 3.3 LPA to 7.5 LPA. We all aim to get placed in TCS Digital. The students of CSE department get most of the opportunities.

Good college with skilled faculty and beautiful campus.

Placements: TCS is the major recruiter in our campus. Other companies like alstom, lucid, envestnet are some of the other visitors. Placement percentage is not that much high. They select above average students based on academics and personal skills. Average salary offered is 3.5 to 5 Lacs per annum There is placement department in our college named PTIB.

Nssce, palakkad at one glance.

Placements: Every year a lots of IT companies are coming to the college. For mechanical engineering students core company placements are lesser. Only 4 to 5 students out 120 mechanical students are getting placements in core companies. Those got placements will be having good salary packages.

Life in the college will be great.

Placements: About 50% of the students got placed in the placements, but in the coming years, we are unable to predict the placements. We have a placement cell and strong alumni to support the students. The passed out students are getting a salary up to 10LPA.

Really good campus with a good quality faculty and poor infrastructure.

Placements: There are a number of IT oriented companies like TCS etc. Coming for placements, and about 85% of the applicants have been placed on merits and credits. In the case of mechanical department, there is seen a decrement in the appearance of core companies coming for campus placements over the years A average scale of 5 Lacs to 3 Lacs per annum salary was offered last year. Companies like TCS, envestnet, quest global, wipro, kalki etc. Have organised placements and recruited students. On an average ...

NSSCE is the college with best Entrepreneur Development Cell.

Placements: Talking about the placement of the college it has been decreasing. But every year at least 200 to 300 students gets campus placement. The main company arriving for placement is TCS, Infosys etc. The students that get jobs in there core are very less but they get placement through GATE.

Excellent infrastructure, good faculty, and a great experience.

Placements: The placements were average, and it varied from department to department. Most of the students in computer science department got placed, and most the companies came for that department. For civil engineering department, there were around ten companies which visited for the placements. Some of them are TCS, Cognizant, Ashok Leyland, etc. We had a placement committee, and the campus placements were improving steadily.

It is the best college in terms of campus beauty.

Placements: Placements are there. But, most of the companies would be IT companies like TCS. Core companies occasionally come for EEE and ECE branches. Placements are rarely offered for civil and mechanical branches. The salary offered varies between 1 LPA to 6 LPA.

It is a good and well-recognized institution to study.

Placements: The placement cell provides good facilities to the students of all departments. But, there are very few chances for a civil engineering student to get placed as only a few companies recruit them. All the other branches have good opportunities, and many students are placed.

Dissatisfied because of lack of core placements, but good lab facilities and faculty members.

Placements: Previously, some of the companies like Mahindra visited for the placements, but right now only IT companies and management companies are visiting. TCS is the main IT placements there, and Invest NET and Qubest are the management companies. Other companies are also visiting, but these are the main intake.

Good for those having an interest in the technical field

Placements: Main companies are coming. The students who are eligible will definitely get a good job. The history of placement is just awesome. Mainly, companies like TCS and others come every year. Taking admission in this college will guide you in a good manner.

Good placements in 2014 and a good, friendly atmosphere

Placements: Around 80% of the students got placed in our batch. The average salary offered was around 4 lakhs per annum. Mostly software companies visited and the roles offered was of assistant system engineer. 50 % of students got the internship from the college. I am not sure about the stipend details.

Really experienced faculty and a good infrastructure

Placements: The best placement, especially for computer science and IT backgrounds. Electrical and EC also have good placements. The highly skilled placement committee was able to maintain the quality of companies coming to campus. Mechanical engineering companies are less. Civil engineering has a limited scope where as IC has enormous opportunities.

Fabulous environment for a professional college with good infrastructure and qualified faculty.

Placements: Placements throughout the year 2016-2017 were really good and around 30 percent of the students were placed in this academic year. The great achievement of the placement cell was that they were able to bring the placement coordinators of Indian Navy directly to the college. Also, companies like TCS and Envestnet also visited the campus.
