Good and friendly faculty.

Most of the notable companies in which students get placements are TCD, Wipro, Microsoft, Oracle, Sun Microsystem, Snatchdreams, Amazon, Flipkart, ebay, Honda, Ferrari, Audi, BMW, Tesla, Bajaj, Coolpad, Lenovo, Xiomi, etc. Placements are given to students after providing training in various fields such as mental ability, aptitude solving, etc. Last years most of the students were placed in TCS. ...

NSSCE Palakkad- Civil Engineering Department.

Placements: Being a civil engineering student, I am not happy with the placements because only one construction company visited the campus for placement last year. But more than 10 IT companies visited the campus and many of my classmates got placed there. The placement cell has tried to contact many construction companies and a few of them promised to turn up next year. The companies which came for placement offered internships which helped in the career growth.

NSS College of Engineering- Computer Science department.

Placements: The placement here is very good especially for a computer science and engineering student. Now I am currently working in Ust Global, Trivandrum. I got placed from the college only. More than 10 IT companies visited our college last year. 70% of my classmates got placed. All the people who got placed were called by the respective companies. Few companies offered three-month internships, after which the job would be confirmed. The maximum salary offered was 5 lakhs per annum. Minimum was 2 lakhs p...

Good infrastructure and faculty members. I really enjoyed the campus life.

Placements: College provides the best placements for a good student. If you have the skills in you, then you can succeed. About 200 students were placed in our batch. Companies like TCS, MRF, Kalki, Suntech, Cognizent, etc. visited the campus for recruitment. The average package was around rupees 25000 per month. The senior batch also had good placements. Students were offered the role of an assistant engineer.

A great place to spent your college life which is worth every minute.

Placements: Placement offers come from a lot of companies but still TCS is the major recruiter here as 188 students were offered the job by TCS. There are also a lot of other recruiters coming to the campus and even for off-campus placements. The salary packages normally range from 3-6 LPA. Usually, it is easy to get placed if you are ready for IT jobs, as it is a little bit tough to get into other core companies. Other recruiters include Kalki Tech, UST, Envestnet, Nest and a lot more. ...

From the heart, an NSSian

Placements: The college has more than 30% of campus selections each year. The placement training and information bureau is doing an excellent job by conducting placement training sessions periodically. PTIB gives information about all the job opportunities to each student according to their respective subjects.

This is one of the best colleges. It has a good environment to study and is having one of the best experienced (20-25 years) faculty in Kerala. The demerit I found was the lack of a lab facility for complex experiments. But German made machines are available here. The students get the maximum support from the administration to get stipends and scholarships. The hostel facilities are not bad.

The college has an excellent environment where we can explore in the field of academics and provides with an experienced faculty. Also, the college provides better facilities for students who excel in the field pf sports. Even students with better academics skills are always honoured by the college PTA board every year. So, you can trust the college for better education and better hospitality. NSS engineering college has got a better place by the accreditation board last year.

It is a good college and has experienced faculty. It has a nice fee structure. I just paid Rs. 6000 per year. It has nice hostel facilities. Now, it is under Kerala Technical University. You need to have a good rank in the Kerala entrance exam to get admission here. For the management seat, you need to spend a lot of money.

NSS a government college in Kerala, and rated one among the best. It has varied specialisations with around 120 seats for mechanical engineering. Govt. fees of about 4000-5000/yr. and hostel fees as low as 600/month speaks lot about the ROI. A large mechanical lab housing all the equipment’s from diesel engine, Car engine, a large model of turbogenertor etc. all what is required for an engineering student. Spread over about 150 acres. 60 years old buildings and atmosphere gives a classy college feel. Peaceful atmosphere. Surrounded by variety of trees. Very good students. The negative part is the absence of college technical fests. And the reason for that is the uninterested college management.

Well reputed college with highly qualified faculty members. But the process they follow in the internal evaluation is worst. The campus is worth appreciable and all sports and arts facilities are available. Also the hostel facility according to the student perspective is pretty good though lots of political activities impact the living. Placement record is not good here. Overall if you consider a government college I would give it an average rating.

Good surroundings but bad campus life.

Placements: Placements are very good if students learn and earn well. But like the other institutions placements are only for those who score well in academics. Numerous high-class companies visit our college for placements like TCS, Tata, etc. Good packages are also offered.
