Placements: The placements for my senior batch were adequate. In January 2016 about 300 students were placed with 13 different companies. Placements: PGDAV has one of the best placement cells with the most dedicated and hard working professors and their teams. It keeps on organising placement drives from time to time for the final year students. It was good in all the aspects of teaching but lacked a good infrastructure. May be they would now make that happen. Also, canteen was not so cool and if you want to join the college for extracurricular activities it is not the place for you. You may have to have an extra talent for those things. The faculty at PGDAV is excellent, especially for Statistics Department. They are highly qualified and the quality of education is maintained. The college lacks features such as infrastructure, nearby hangout places, also the crowd quality of this college is not good. Apart from this, the college provide good library, free Wi-Fi, well equipped computer labs and many other departmentalized specialty labs. The moderate expense structure adds to its points of interest. The school concentrates on the extracurricular exercises and gives due significance to discovering that happens outside the four limits of the classroom. The eccentric atmosphere around the campus make each day of college a happening experience. The college celebrates its Annual day and is a nice cultural meet. PGDAV College is one of the oldest colleges in Delhi University. It is also the father institution of Hansraj College, North Campus. It is a college where you will get nothing to do apart from studying. Faculty members are highly qualified and teach really very well and are very friendly with the students. But the extra-curricular activities does not match DUs level. But the study level isn’t compromise at all. Also it is situated on the ring road so it has direct connectivity to the road. Placements: Not much students were placed, around 40-50% were placed. The highest offered was 6 L. Pa in the marketing field. None of the famous recruitment companies were there, those who came we had never heard of them. 30-40% got internship and I was not one of them.
