Good placements 2016 and fine studies.

Placements: The placements for my senior batch were adequate. In January 2016 about 300 students were placed with 13 different companies. Our college is a commerce college and one of the best colleges of south campus of Delhi University. We have a separate section for the placements, i.e. placement cell. (http://pgdavcollege.edu.in/Viewtopics.aspx?MenuId=Placement_Cell_392) Here is the link to it. The placements, when compared to other university colleges in this one, is very fine. ...

Not a bad option, known for the best faculty in commerce and various societies.

Placements: PGDAV has one of the best placement cells with the most dedicated and hard working professors and their teams. It keeps on organising placement drives from time to time for the final year students. Even various pre-placement talks, seminars, interactions with the seniors already placed etc are organised for the students of first year and second year. Companies like EY, L&T, ICICI, Earth Infra, Wipro, Indigo, HDFC Bank etc came to recruit the aspirants. These companies offer the package between 1...

A growing college with immense opportunities in all fields

Placements: Many companies visit the College campus every year to hire students. Ernst & Young, Larsen & Toubro, ICICI Prudential, Genpact, Royal Bank of Scotland to name a few. The Senior batches and our batch had similar placement records but with our batch, there were improvements mainly the availability of a well defined Seminar Hall. Almost 60-70 per cent of Economics students participated in number of placement drives, but the majority of Students were of B.Com(H) where the number of students were ve...

The college has really good and experienced teachers of B.Com (Hons) and English (Hons). If you want to study Commerce and English then you should go for this college. The crowd is good of morning but I can't say the same about the evening college. There's a cricket ground in the college and usually, it's a good place to hang out with your friends during winter unless there's a cricket match going on. Canteen and infrastructure is not up to the mark.

It was good in all the aspects of teaching but lacked a good infrastructure. May be they would now make that happen. Also, canteen was not so cool and if you want to join the college for extracurricular activities it is not the place for you. You may have to have an extra talent for those things. In terms of connectivity, it’s good. It is on very much ring road so no connectivity issues. It is very cool college if you want to roam around for beautiful scriptures because so many monuments are jus...

Good for b.com in south campus. Although not the best. Infrastructure is taking a new shape. Faculty is above average. Although the biggest canteen in Delhi university. Good sports team overall. In placement purpose it’s not a good option. Average crowd and good market (Nehru Nagar and Lajpat Nagar) at walking distance for foodholic people.

The faculty at PGDAV is excellent, especially for Statistics Department. They are highly qualified and the quality of education is maintained. The college lacks features such as infrastructure, nearby hangout places, also the crowd quality of this college is not good. Apart from this, the college provide good library, free Wi-Fi, well equipped computer labs and many other departmentalized specialty labs. The faculty is very friendly but as in any Delhi University college the office department is...

It depends on the department whether the faculty is good or not. In my course we had regular classes. Infrastructure wise, now it has improved a lot. Before joining this college just concern from your seniors about the course you want to proceed in. Teachers are helping. At least in maths department. But yes. Crowd is seriously poor.

It takes about an hour to travel from college to Old Faridabad, which might be helpful for students not living in Delhi. It is a good college for students in cricket as it has a cricket ground along with basketball courts. About the crowd of this college, only English Hons. batch has some a decent students, otherwise the crowd of the college is pretty bad.

When I joined this college in year 2013 at that time it was not a good and developed college but now after 2 years of graduation my college has improved a lot both in development and in the facilities provided to the students. I can say that the faculty of my college is not so excellent but they are the best in my view.

My college comes under Delhi University. It is located in South Delhi. The faculty of college is well experienced hence the students gets to know better about their subjects. It also has a huge cricket ground and the college is also known for its Cricket Team as it has won many prizes in various colleges.

The moderate expense structure adds to its points of interest. The school concentrates on the extracurricular exercises and gives due significance to discovering that happens outside the four limits of the classroom. The college has a highly qualified faculty dedicated to serve the students even after the college timings. But after all these advantages, one inconvenience is that you won't get enough occasions. Even on vacations you will be given a ton of undertakings, field exercises, and assi...

Quiz competitions and talent hunt are conducted round the academic year. Along with an active participation in the DUSU elections one can see a lot of things happening around. PGDAV is the best college to study in Delhi. I am doing economics honor and I have received great moments from my college. The campus is very good and the ground of the college is also big. The canteen service is just average. There is also a library which have a large collection of books. There are many excellent and friendly students are there studying and brilliant teacher who are teaching there. I would recommend this college.

PGDAV College is one of the oldest colleges in Delhi University. It is also the father institution of Hansraj College, North Campus. Because there are no other colleges near it, the campus life is average one but after sometimes people starts loving it because of unique culture of PGDAVians. Also annual fest, commercium (commerce fest) and some other fests are quite good. Admission Fees is around 3000- 4000 for most of the courses which is not expensive in comparison of other colleges. Not the best college of Delhi University but the commerce department is really good. The location is convenient to reach from any part of Delhi and also from NCR. Though the campus and canteen is not much good but the sport ground is above standards. Teachers are cooperative. Overall, it's a nice college if you get admission in a commerce course.

It is a college where you will get nothing to do apart from studying. Faculty members are highly qualified and teach really very well and are very friendly with the students. But the extra-curricular activities does not match DUs level. But the study level isn’t compromise at all. Also it is situated on the ring road so it has direct connectivity to the road. About the crowd of campus is also too good, the reason for this is having evening class too. Reason of crowd is the goodwill & name fame of college among the colleges of Delhi University.

The first thing you’ll notice about the college is the newly built building block along with a new canteen (which will start operating very soon). The college campus is situated on a large piece of land to you’ll have many hotspots for chit-chatting, playing, doing your society practices. The faculty members and administration dept. of the college are very supportive and one the best in south campus. The facilities are just average but the college lacks an auditorium.

Placements: Not much students were placed, around 40-50% were placed. The highest offered was 6 L. Pa in the marketing field. None of the famous recruitment companies were there, those who came we had never heard of them. 30-40% got internship and I was not one of them.
