In total, there is only the average campus placement, and the non-IT companies are a few, and hard to get placed.

B.E. in Mechanical Engineering - Batch of 2020

If you have money, join this college because you can make anything possible with your money.
Placements: In our batch, there are 240 students in the mechanical department, but only 4 of them are selected for the core company, and 30+ are selected for the IT field. This is a bad thing for mechanical students. The average package is INR 7 lakh per annum, and for core companies, it is INR 6 lakh per annum.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is good, but I don't know what the purpose of providing Wi-Fi is because here they do not allow us to use mobile phones. The labs and library are awesome; they are so neat and have quality books and lab equipment. Hostel food is good, but after two weeks, it feels boring.
Faculty: Here, teachers are highly knowledgeable and very friendly—some of them only, but most of the lecturers are very strict, but the teaching quality is so good. Because of the quality, I think every student in this college is good for any industry and is ready. Semester exams are strict but not as tough, and evaluation is very strict.
Other: Mechanical engineering is the course I studied, but it was chosen by my brother; they said you would get camps and so many fake positive things. Here, the festival is good for three days in a year—awesome days for students.

One of the top engineering college in the field and is making the best engineers.
Placements: We are the students of pes engineering college mandya which is affiliated to vtu. This year in our college, 90% of the students have been placed on a minimum package of INR 4 lakhs and the maximum package of INR 12 to 13 Lakhs. We have good placement coordinators who give their best in the placements of the students.
Infrastructure: We have good hostel facilities with single beds, clear area around and friendly warden. The food in the hostel is good and unlimited. We have free Wi-Fi connection, library, and playground too. All other facilities ar nearby college.
Faculty: The examinations are conducted very strictly under the supervision of the faculty and cameras, the examination comes under examination department of all the departments. Faculty is very cooperative in any problems. In case of any health separate classrooms are provided for exams.
Other: We have large machines for all the labs like laser cutting, 3d printing, etc.

It is an excellent college.
Placements: In our course, around 65% of students are placed. Almost 87% of students are placed in CSE and ECE branches. Top recruiting companies like Accenture, IBM, etc., visit our campus. The highest salary package offered is 7.8 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1.2 LPA. Almost all students get internships.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well-ventilated and equipped with all modern facilities like Wi-Fi and PPT projectors. Labs are upgraded with the latest instruments and maintain modern trends. The department has a huge workshop to ensure that each student gets to handle an individual machine for a better understanding of the experiments or the task that has been given. There are two separate hostels for boys. For first-year students, the hostel VSVM, is located 1 km from the main campus. Rooms are a bit old and gloomy. The quality of the food is not good. The distance between the hostel and the college makes it a disadvantage for students. From the 2nd year onwards, students are allowed to stay in the main boy's hostel that is on campus. The hostel food is average. Wi-Fi is available 24X7.
Faculty: Faculty members are well-educated, helpful, and knowledgeable. They are from IITs and NITs. They have good information about all the career opportunities after engineering, so one gets a good reputation among the faculty members. Students surely have a bundle of good opportunities at their fingertips.
Other: I chose mechanical engineering because of my interest in it. Our college organises many events. The atmosphere of our college is pleasant.

Placements are average in our course.
Placements: Placements are average in our course. The highest salary package offered was 8 LPA. The minimum salary package offered was 4 LPA. Top recruiting companies are BMW, Mahindra, Infosys, etc. Internships are also offered in our course. The average salary package offered ranges from 2.5 LPA to 4 LPA.
Infrastructure: The library has an internet facility with a LAN of 24 users. Our college library has a membership of the VTU Consortium for e-resources to libraries. Stocks have been DDC classified. The library provides CAS to its users through a newspaper clipping service. The new arrivals display makes them aware of what is happening in their concerned field. Question papers are issued in the reference section. The hostel facilities are good. Warden is also good. The laboratory is also well-maintained. Our classrooms are comfortable.
Faculty: Our teachers are helpful, well-qualified, and knowledgeable. The relationships between students and teachers are good. The passing percentage is 85%.
Other: I choose Electrical engineering as it has a vast range and variety of exposure and versatility in it.

I am happy with this college because of faculty members.
Placements: The percentage of students placed in our course is 85%. The highest salary package offered in our course is 8 LPA. Top recruiting companies for our course are NASA, Microsoft, and Ford. The percentage of students who got internships from our course is 90%. Top roles offered in our course are mechatronics, supervisor, etc.
Infrastructure: The hostel fee is very low. It offers basic and shared accommodation. The hostel features a large room with separate beds, a shared bathroom, and a communal kitchen. Some hostels have private rooms, but the lower-cost ones generally offer bunk beds.
Faculty: Teachers are friendly, well qualified, and have enough knowledge to answer all your doubts on the spot. The teaching quality is very good. Industrial visits are interesting. Semester exams are moderate. Teachers are caring, but there is no leniency.
Other: If you have a passion for mathematics and physics, you can choose to study mechanical engineering because it will help sharpen your skills in the design, research, and manufacturing of equipment, aircraft, and other vehicles. It will also hone your analytical and logical thinking skills.
