CUK synopsis and the social life.
Placements: There are no placements in this college, mostly off-campus, begging from seniors, and no recruitment drive. After filling out more than 100 forms, I couldn't even get an internship, the highest someone has ever gotten a 60 LPA off-campus selection, and I can even blame them. Critical thinking has not been the primary focus of this institute, mostly mugging up.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi and a library are two of the only positive things about this college. Wi-Fi works mostly if 2 months of Wi-Fi work one week. Wi-Fi doesn't work for a week. The hostel accommodation has 8 people per room. Summers are *** touch at 49 Celsius seating while sleeping. The hostel crowd is very high. There are very few hostels on the hostel. It had started even before I came but hasn't finished, and the hostel hasn't finished.
Faculty: The teaching staff is fairly decent if 3–7 teachers are good; the college doesn't have a proper laboratory; the campus curriculum and the examinations are mostly given through assignments; the syllabus is not at all relevant; it is mostly out of date and very old-type teaching has been updated.
Other: No extracurricular activities grounds were ever watered in the summer, so putting this college in Gulbarga is the biggest insult to the state.

More or less satisfied from my college.
Placements: Currently I am in 1st year. I found that there is very less chances of placements in my university. Only a few students (6) of my branch got placed at a the highest package of 3.5lakh in TCS as a Assistant System Engineer - Trainee. I really hated this.
Infrastructure: The labs here are not furnished. My computer lab is having less numbers of computers as per the strength of the students in my batch. Wi-fi availability is also less, neither high-speed nor network stability. Library is approximately good but not best. Food is also rated of low quality, students use to protest every month for food.
Faculty: Teachers here are not knowledgeable as they are unable to serve according to our requirements and do not make us industry ready because they don't teach us like that. Course is relevant but teachers are not well qualified. Semester exams are very easy, one can pass with one night study.

I am absolutely dissatisfied with the hostel, but the faculty and college classrooms are good.
Placements: 40 percent of students were placed last year; the highest package was 7 LPA, the lowest was 3.5 LPA, and the average was 5 LPA. The top recruiting companies are TCS, Accenture, and Wipro. 100 percent internships, but colleges do not provide on-campus internships. The top roles offered are system analyst, software developer, and embedded systems engineer.
Infrastructure: 24/7 Wi-Fi, labs are new, and classrooms have Wi-Fi and projectors; the library is good but small; hostels have no privacy because of the large number of members in each room; mess food is poor, but it is reasonable to pay a fee; the ground is not well maintained, so sports are average, but they will encourage and support going to South Zone games.
Faculty: Faculty is well qualified; most of the faculty are from IITS, IISC, and NITK. The course curriculum is good, but no, I cannot say the syllabus is enough for industries where we need more skills. It is very easy to pass most of the subjects, but some subjects are difficult to pass. Overall, you can get 80 percent easily.
Other: I want to be an aerospace engineer, but I cannot make it. So I joined ECE so that I can get into ISRO. The best thing about my course is that subjects are very easy. I wish they should add more related to present technologies like AI and blockchain. Only Ankur will happen in the whole year of university connectivity is easy because it is near the state highway, crowds are very low, only girls will get scholarships based on income, and they will conduct workshops and ivs once a year.

I am not satisfied after getting into this college because it is not giving the required exposure.
Placements: I am a student of 1st semester in CUK. I have reached out to my seniors regarding placements in campus, they said "Don't expect any placement from here". It will be your good luck if you get any low package from here around INR 3-4LPA. Currently this year, our 5-6 high scoring seniors got placed at a maximum package of INR 3.5LPA in TCS.
Infrastructure: Campus has WIFI but not with high-speed and range. WIFI is available in hostels, libraries and in classes. Labs are also not in good condition because the number of equipment are very less and computers are also not available in ample quantity. Mess is approximately good. There is one private canteen inside the campus.
Faculty: Some teachers here are not knowledgeable. Some teachers are good . Overall teaching quality is not good. They do not make students industry ready. Course curriculum is also outdated. Semester exams are easy to pass. One can pass exams by studying only one night before the exams.
Other: I took admission in Bachelor of technology in electronics and communication engineering in this college because it was my dream. There is less availability of labs and innovation. Here the students do not get enough sports facilities too. ANKUR is the only fest organised by this college which took 15-20 days to complete.

My college is better, and I am happy and enjoying the college life that I wanted to.
Placements: 70% of students get placed in my college, and I think in the upcoming years there will be more placements. The highest package was 10 LPA, the lowest 3 LPA, and the average package was 4 LPA. HCL, Wipro, and many more companies visit for the placements. In 2024, most of the students got internships in DRDO, IITs, NITs, and ISRO, etc.
Infrastructure: The college infrastructure is amazing. In my department, each class has AC, a fan, Wi-Fi, and many more facilities. There is a big central library where you can find every book. The hostel facility is good, with four students in each room. The mess food quality is good, but most of the time they serve South Indian food like idli, dosa, and sambar, etc. There is a canteen in the middle of the college, a health center, a sports ground, and Madhya Pradesh Hall for indoor games.
Faculty: My course curriculum is based on industrial requirements. The syllabus is good, and the faculty teaches amazingly. Most of the faculty have Ph.D. degrees, and a few of them are from IITs and NITs. The semester exam is a little bit hard, but with hard work, it's easy.
Other: I am pursuing B.Tech in ECE. Most of my classmates are from South India, that's why I get the opportunity to learn new cultures and languages. There is a big Ankur fest that happens every year, in which sports competitions, cultural competitions, and tech companies take place.

The university considers the CUET score hereafter for all admissions to its various UG and PG courses. A minimum Central University of Karnataka cutoff score of 132 was essential in the CUCET exam for general category students for 2021 admissions to the B.Sc course at Central University of Karnataka
