    PIET offers a total of 60 seats for the DPharma programme. The distribution of these seats is done via HSTES counselling.     Admission to DPharma courses is subject to rules of reservation. As per the PIET DPharma reservation policy, 85% of seats are reserved for candidates belonging to the home state (Haryana).     Q:   Are there any scholarships or grants for D.Pharma students at PIET?

    A: 

    Yes, PIET offers various scholarships for students enrolled in the Diploma programmes, including DPharma. To avail these scholarships, students are required to appear for a test. The university conducts two tests, namely the PIET QUEST Scholarship and the P-KAT (PIET Knowledge Aptitude Test). Based on the obtained scores, different amounts of scholarships are offered.

    Yes, PIET does provide a refund in case of withdrawal of admission. However, the refund is subject to fulfillment of certain conditions. Listed below are the guidelines to be followed as per the fee refund policy of the university:

    Q:   Do students enrolled in the PIET DPharma course undergo any training?

    A: 

    Yes, students enrolled in the PIET DPharma programme are required to undergo a mandatory training programme. The DPharma programme is divided into two years. Students, after appearing in the second year of the programme are required to go for three months of practical training.

    These trainings are conducted at pharmacy stores approved by PCI. They can also opt to work in a government hospital. Moreover, during this training programme, students are required to complete 500 hours of training in prescription handling, inventory control, drug store management, and assisting medical officers in regular procedures that deal with the patients.
