Candidate must have passed VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. from schools situated in Tamil Nadu. Tamil Nadu native candidate who have passed any of the VIII, IX, X, XI & XII Std. or their equivalent exam from schools situated outside Tamil Nadu can also apply. It is a good college for engineers.

Placements: Almost 60% of students got placed in our college. Only very few students got placed in the best positions. I had not got the placement. Our college provided many opportunities to attend many interviews.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the library was good. Classrooms were good. All types of books which were relevant to subjects were available in the library. The library was neat and pleasant. The hostel was below average. The food served in the hostel was excellent. Students who can adjust can opt to stay in the hostel.

Faculty: Teachers were sincere at teaching, but they do spoon feeding. Their teaching quality was good. Their coaching and classes were very good. They made students to study. This course was for 4 years. We had 8 semesters, and we had to write 51 papers for the exam. Mentors were very good.

Other: It is the best engineering college in Nagercoil. We will get a good reputation if we study at this college. The hostel and its rooms should be neat.

A Good college where you can start your career.

Placements: There were a lot of placements from our college during 2016 batch. Many of my fellow students including me got placed in companies like TCS, CTS, Infosys, UST global, Infoview, Renault Nissan and a lot of other companies. The placement training was given from our college very well.

Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is quite good will well structured computer laboratories, mechanical and other laboratories. Therd are separate hostel facilities also. The college is situated at a very reachable location. The college also provide facilities for indoor as well as outdoor games like chess, basketball.

Faculty: The teachers were very good. They guide us in all possible ways so that we can get a better future. For industrial visit we were taken to ISRO as well as Koodankulam Nuclear power plants. The teachers were very helpful providing us with all the study materials.

Placements: They will collect a huge amount of money from the students in the name of placements. They will conduct some interviews, and they will also select some students. Finally, the college will publish an advertisement like, 'these students are placed in so and so company, please join our college to get placed'. But, the truth is nothing is going to happen', the company won't call you back.

Infrastructure: It is situated under a mountain, surrounded by graveyards. So, we can give a zero for the planning. We also have a golden statue of a great freedom fighter at the entrance of the college. There are no proper equipped labs, no proper instruments, etc.

Faculty: This college had very poor faculty members with zero knowledge and allowed to train the future engineers. The faculty members don't even know how to write code. I managed to study something only through the internet. I have never seen a standard lecturer in this college.

Other: Since it is a co-ed college, the college offers you good freedom such as separate classrooms for boys and girls, separate intervals, and separate blocks too. They also offer front seats for boys and back seats for girls in the college bus.

I'm dissatisfied with this college.

Placements: Placements provided in our college were good for our seniors but were not good for our batch. Students have to search for internships on their own as they didn't provide internships. Top recruiting companies were TCS, Wipro, etc. Students got placed in various roles. A few students got placed in our batch.

Infrastructure: Classrooms were average. Most of the computers were not working in labs. Hostel fee was high but the food served was not good. Canteen was small but had all the things. Sports were not available for all the students. Only sports students were allowed for sports. Sports facilities were not good.

Faculty: Teachers in our college were knowledgeable, helpful, and well-qualified with Ph.D. The course curriculum was relevant and it made students ready for industry. Semester exams were hard. The pass percentage was not good. They revised the concepts before the exams.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest in it. Labs should be improved. Events organised were good. Extracurricular activities were not good.
