It only has PG and UG courses in this college, So, there are no internships, but if a person likes autonomous college, then it is not bad.

Commercial hub for commerce students
Placements: About 40–50% of the students get placed. The average package offered is between INR 2,50,000 and 3,00,000 LPA. Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) is the top recruiter. Most students get internships under a CA firm. The top roles offered are accounting, bookkeeping, accounting, and auditing.
Infrastructure: The college also arranges visits to factories that provide employment opportunities for graduates. However, the mess and hostel facilities need improvement, as they are not very sanitary or healthy.
Faculty: The teachers at this college are qualified and have degrees, knowledge, and experience. They provide support and proper guidance to students. The curriculum is strictly as per Utkal University and CHSE syllabus. Semester exams are tricky, and one can only ace them by studying. The pass percentage is mostly 65%.
Other: I was the topper of this college in class 12th in my district. I am aiming to be the topper again in graduation with the guidance of my teachers.

It is a good college for students to pursue higher studies.
Placements: 70% of students were placed in our course. There are three-year courses along with add-on courses like freshwater aquaculture and vermi composting. Many students got internships. The college grounds are very neat and clean, and the environment is suitable for studying.
Infrastructure: The labs are well-developed with specimens and chemicals, and the library system is more advanced. In the hostel, the quality of food is average. Medical facilities and sports and games are given first priority. There is a Wi-Fi system in the library, and previous years' question papers are also available for exam preparation.
Faculty: The teaching quality is very good, and the teachers use AI skills in their teaching. The course curriculum is basic for higher studies. The pass percentage for the semester is 4.5 CGPA. The semester exams are easy if you are prepared for them in advance. If you prepare yourself in a rhythmic manner daily, then the exam is very easy.
Other: I want to pursue higher studies in my optional subject. The surroundings are very good.

Should you Choose PN College, Khordha?
Placements: While there are some big names like TCS, Tech Mahindra, and Infosys, etc. There are select few students who are selected every year, about 4-5 out of 64 students in strength. The top roles, like software developer, analyst, etc., are indeed very rare. Only the top 0.0001% get their desired job with the desired package. Usually, companies just take students from the B.Sc. course to lay off later. So it would be better to have projects, courses, and skills on your resume rather than just depending on your college.
Infrastructure: The course offered is pretty good but not industry-ready. It needs development in its computers and infrastructure as a whole. It lacks basic computer functions with advanced new-age compilers that are much needed for coding. The hostels are cheap, but food and living conditions are pretty bad. You have to be in your best mindset just to live there.
Faculty: The teachers are indeed very knowledgeable in their field. The sheer amount of effort that I see teachers put into the CS course is amazing. They solve queries too. They recommend books, etc. The difficulty of semester exams is average; anyone can easily pass them if they review their class notes regularly.
Other: I chose the course because it is actually affordable. For 3 years, they take around 70,000 INR, which is just the fees of one semester for B. Tech courses. There's no difference between both courses, but obviously, B. Tech has a sharp edge over this course. You won't even realize when fests come and go. While they publish notices, still there is a lack of communication between students, authority, and teachers. Most of the time, teachers don't even know what's going on. There are many, and I mean many times for you to participate in extracurricular activities. I wish that they had Wi-Fi in our CS department; it's supposed to be the flagship department, meaning anyone can understand what situation the college is in by looking at the department. We don't even have decent tables and benches; we lack any kind of good computers.

Charan's review for PN college.
Placements: There were a total of 400+ students who were placed in our course. The highest package in our course was 12 LPA. The lowest package in our course was 6 LPA. The average package in our course was 9 LPA. The top recruiting companies for our course are Tech Mahindra and Axis Bank.
Infrastructure: To be honest, no such facilities are available for our department. The college is mainly focused on science students, so if you want to study commerce, you have to sacrifice those facilities you want, such as Wi-Fi and A/C. Another important thing we need to discuss is food. The food is not that good if you expect much.
Faculty: The teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. Their teaching quality was good, but they will teach you in their language. If you have any problem with their language, you need to tell them that you are facing a problem so that they can explain it in your language.
Other: I chose this course because I want to do an MBA in a reputed college. To do that, I first need to get my degree certificate from a government college.

B.Sc. in Geology - Batch of 2026

A great college with great memories.
Placements: Very rarely the students get placements and most importantly, mostly Computer Science students get placements. Other departments like Geology, Geography, etc. don't get proper placements. I took this subject to explore it and set an example for the future generation.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is good but the toilet facilities are very poor. I don't know a lot about the hostel as I live with my guardian, but I have seen the hostel, it looks good. Wi-Fi is only available for the faculty and the college staff, the students don't get access to it. The classrooms are fine and the library is okay. Some departments don’t have enough faculty or even proper classrooms.
Faculty: The teachers are very helpful friendly in nature. The exams are conducted properly on time. They are tough and it is good to prepare you for future entrance exams. The courses are good enough for your degree. The only problem is that you should take tuition classes instead of the college classes for proper understanding if you are a poor student.
Other: In today's life everyone is only interested in medical and engineering, Geology is a very underrated subject as it has potential, but due to lack of students, it gets ignored.

Placements are quiet poor unless you are a good students.
Placements: The placements of this college are quite poor. If you are a good student with good communication skills the you can get placed in a good company. Unfortunate I don't have an idea about the highest and average package. Top recruiting companies are TCS, hike education etc. 50 to 60% of the students get placed and also get internships. Roles offered are sales, marketing and promotions etc.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is quite old fashioned. The classrooms are big and the college also has a huge library where there are ample amount of books and journals available. The hostel facility inside the college is only available for girls and boys can take private mess or hostels nearby college. The food at the canteen is pretty good.
Faculty: The teachers of the college Especially the teachers of commerce Department are very friendly, qualified, knowledgeable and the quality of their teaching is also good. The course curriculum makes students ready for industry but if the student studies properly. The semester exams of the college are moderately difficult. The pass percentage is 80%.
