B.Sc. in Physics/Chemistry/Mathematics - Batch of 2020
Offered by President Science College
1.2

Dissatisfied with few faculty members, management, and infrastructure.
Placements: This college does not offer any placement or placement assistance. If you are taking admission based on placement then you are going to the wrong place. You can consider this college as a school with no placement assistance, counseling, or any career development clubs. No company visits this college for placement in the field of B.Sc.
Infrastructure: The campus is very small. You won't feel like you are on campus. There are two buildings. One building is for school and the other is for college. Both are situated on the same campus. There's no Wi-Fi facility. There is a library with not many books and is in the worst condition. Classrooms and Labs are good with the required facilities. But you are not allowed to touch the instrument if it is not in your semester. This college does not have its hostel. It might have tied up with other PGs. They recently made a canteen for students. There is no medical facility, no games to play, and no area to play any sport.
Faculty: Some faculty are good but some are the worst. They will threaten you if you will go or complain against them. Some faculty members have high ego problems. Many of them just work there for a salary. The curriculum is old and is made by Gujarat University. Exams are moderate.
Other: I chose this college as I was out of options. This college is just a 5-floor building which runs many other courses like MBA, Journalism, Nursing, B.Sc. and BCA in the 5-floor building. Hence you can find the crowd but I believe that there should be a proper campus for this many courses. The college needs many improvements. First is the faculty behavior. Threatening a student or not giving the marks because he/she complained about you in feedback form is not good. The college needs to expand its campus and stop some courses as there is only one building which is sometimes used by the school students. They organize sports days for two days, college days, and festival celebrations. They rarely conduct any educational events or extracurricular activities. You won't find good reviews about this college from the other Gujarat University-affiliated colleges. The campus is small. You will find people living next to the wall of the college. So you can't speak loudly or else the residents will shout at you.

It is a good college with good faculty members and placements.
Placements: About 50% of students from our course got placed. The highest salary offered is Rs. 20,000 per month, and the lowest salary offered is Rs. 7,000 per month. Mostly all pharmaceutical companies visit our college to recruit students from our college. There is no internship for this course. QA and QC department roles are offered in pharma companies. Our college got the highest number of ranks in the B.Sc field.
Infrastructure: Our college provides the best facilities and infrastructure. The canteen is very good. I recommend all students to join this college.
Faculty: In this college, all staff members and teachers are very helpful. The pass marks in this college are 11 out of 30.
Other: Our college organises a lot of events like sports day, days celebration, etc.

Our college has good teachers but no placements.
Placements: Our college did not provide good placements. Teachers did not collaborate with any company. Our college was good for studying because this college had a lot of rankers at Gujarat University.
Infrastructure: Our college did not provide good infrastructure and management. Washrooms were not good. There was drinking water problem. Washrooms were on different floors. There was no sports ground.
Faculty: Our teachers were knowledgeable. Most of them were Ph.D. holders. The teaching quality was good. There were two exams in one semester. The first was an internal exam, and the second one was conducted by the university. It was strict for term work submission.
Other: The campus was small but good.

It is an average college, and you will never feel like you are in a college.
Placements: Our college does not provide any placements, especially if you belong to the Physics/Chemistry/Math group. They have recently started providing placements as territory executives. Placements were provided only for students who are from medical backgrounds.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure was fine. They did not have their own canteen or play ground. You have to bring your own lunch or you can rely on street food, which is very unhealthy. Classrooms were good and even the labs were good, but not the campus. They did not provide any hostel facilities.
Faculty: Teachers were very helpful. They were well-educated, good, and provided proper career guidance. Students were not industry ready as they were not providing any internships. The level of exams was easy to moderate.
Other: I completed my bachelor's in Physics from President Science College. I've always been interested in science, so I decided to pursue a career in it and learn about magnetic fields, gravity, radiation, etc. No improvement is needed here. The college conducts an annual function every year. It conducts a sports day every year and celebrates Navratri.

The college has very good infrastructure, facilities and faculty members.
Placements: Almost 75-80% of the students got placed in our course. Up to 60-70% of the students got an internship in companies, and interviews are at a very good level.
Infrastructure: Facilities and infrastructure are available for our department. There are particular labs for each subject, comfortable classrooms, a library, etc. The environment of college is much better. Faculty members and facilities are at a good service, and the equipment of labs is available on a scale. Buses and parking facilities are available.
Faculty: Teachers were knowledgeable, highly qualified and very helpful.
Other: I have chosen this course because there are many options after B.Sc (PCM) course. The college is good in events, fests, scholarship and connectivity.
