It is a good college with facilities but not hostels.
Placements: Campus placement starts from the month of September mostly and it's going on till March/April. They do place 90% or maybe even 100%, few students of our college search for jobs on their own or go for their own startup. Even in the worst scenario, I think the strong network of alumni comes to the rescue. They are approachable, helpful, and humble too. Many banks like ICICI, Axis, HDFC, IDBI, CITI, and IT and companies like Infosys and Capgemini visit the campus. A giant company, like Amazon also take few students. The average salary package offered was 8.5 LPA mostly and the highest salary package offered was 13 LPA - 14 LPA in India. Most of the profiles come for sales and marketing roles but there are many different roles offered by different companies.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. There are places around campus to hang around anytime along with a canteen in college. There is a huge library and e-library with several books, journals, and magazines. College gives access to various terminals like Bloomberg and others too. Welingkar has 4 hostel facilities, 2 for boys and 2 for girls. They are at a distance of 2 km to 5 km from the campus in the Matunga area. There is no mess facility inside the hostel but there is a basic canteen for tea and refreshments, beverages, etc.
Faculty: Most of the professors in our college believe in actively teaching throughout the whole semester in form of projects and assignments and applying the concepts but not from an exam perspective. There were ample and good techniques/theories that were taught. As our exams were MCQ-based, they weren't difficult to pass but there were tricky questions.

The college is great in value for money and acquiring knowledge.
Placements: Almost 100% of the students were placed in our senior batches. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, the lowest salary package offered was 6 LPA and the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA. Some top recruiting companies of our college were Morgan Stanley, Accenture, Deloitte, Amul and Barclays. Most of the roles were of trainee managers in varied fields such as marketing, finance, HR and operations.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of our college is good. It was recently renovated with a high emphasis on technology and digitisation. First-aid kits are available on every floor, and canteen services are satisfactory but expensive. Sports and games are promoted, and there is a games room and gymnasium.
Faculty: Teachers in our college are very knowledgeable and extremely qualified. They give examples from current scenarios and try to solve current world problems. The course curriculum is directed towards business management and emphasises on professionalism and corporate leadership.
Other: I have chosen this course as it has always been my field of interest to find innovation in business design and apply it to Indian scenario. College fests and competitions help us in understanding case studies and how to tackle business problems.

Our college is among the top B-Schools in Mumbai.
Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good. Almost all the students got placed in the college placements except for those who wanted to work on their startups or the ones committed to their family business. The average salary package offered to the students of 2018 pass out batch was around 8 LPA. Some companies such as Deloitte, Infosys, HP, YES Bank, HDFC Bank, Siemens, etc., visit the college to hire students. Almost all the students got internships from college.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is good. It has two libraries with varieties of books. Since it is in the centre of Mumbai, there is no ground due to space constraint but there is a gym. There are startup cell and a RedX lab for the students who are interested in startups. Girls' hostel is 1 kilometre away from our college building.
Faculty: Some of the faculty members in our college are amazing. Since I'm in business design batch, we are provided with some of the great faculty members. Also, we work on many projects which provide us exposure to the industry and consumers. The course curriculum is designed in such a way that it is updated with the need in the market. Also, many guest lectures are conducted where people from big industries share their knowledge with students.

Good ROI with good to better placements
Placements: The placements are good no doubt, but the batch strength and increasing competition every year make it difficult for everyone to get placed. We have an efficient team working at the back-end, but placing a high number is always an issue here. Companies like Nestle, IBM, Infosys, ICICI bank and much more do visit the campus every year. The internship season kick-starts around Feb and almost all the students get the internship, but the stipend offered varies from company to company.
Infrastructure: The best in class infrastructure, with a dedicated innovation lab for the business design students, makes it a home away from home. Even having the MIT RedX lab gives us an insight on how can things be created differently. Centrally air-conditioned, the campus does not let you feel uncomfortable in high temperatures. A dedicated gym for both boys and girls makes it a spot for the hostel students to even take care of their health by working out and studying. The canteen is huge, but the menu needs to be updated and it is a bit costly for a college canteen.
Faculty: We had the greatest faculty members on campus until the last year, when they left due to their personal ambitions, but overall, the new faculty team is good. The course curriculum is almost near to a design school curriculum, but with a lot of emphasis on different methods of solving business problems. The curriculum touches a wide range of topics from finance, marketing, operations, HR and IT, making us stand out in the public in the contest for an overall knowledge pack.

Business design a course to create innovative managers.
Placements: Almost 100% of our senior batch got placed successfully through campus interviews. The highest package offered is 15.5 LPA. The lowest package offered is 6 LPA, and the average package offered is 9 LPA. Companies that recruit are Amazon, Nestle, Capgemini, Pidilite, P&G, Colgate. All students could get summer internships in the companies mentioned above and also GEP, HDFC, Siemens.
Infrastructure: The building of the college is new and improved a lot. There is a Wi-Fi facility. There are a well-maintained library and reading room. The classrooms are digitized and teach with the help of screens. First aid and security facilities are available on every floor. The canteen is hygienic and tasty.
Faculty: The teachers are very qualified and very helpful in understanding our doubts and clearing them. Faculty also motivate us to take initiatives and plan for future opportunities. The course is designed beautifully and captures the imagination of techniques to create competent managers.
Other: Some things that could improve is a little more focus on theory work rather than practical application every time.
