Review of Prin. L. N. Welingkar Institute of Management Development and Research.

Placements: As there are various programs in our college, placements are common. If students possess good skills, which they can showcase, then they can get high salary package compared to others. Overall, the average salary package offered varies around 8-9 LPA. Placements are decent, and students can opt for this college compared to other colleges.

It is a good place for pursuing MBA with average placements.

Placements: Placements in our college are good with the average salary of 6-7 LPA. Around 90% of the students are placed. More than 150 companies visit the campus for placements. Companies like EY, Deloitte, Morgan Stanley, KPMG, Citibank, Accenture, Infosys, TCS, Cognizant, Future Group, AB Group, etc., visit the campus for placements. Almost 80% of the students got internships. The highest domestic stipend offered is Rs. 60,000. The lowest stipend offered is nil. Placement cell is semi student-driven, and...

I have an amazing 1 year experience in WE School.

Placements: The placement scene is decent. Majorly students got placed through campus placements. Analytics role and company offering such role is relatively low here. Hence more focus shall be given here. If a student is interested in marketing, HR and finance roles, there will be a good opportunity. The placement cell is really hardworking here.

The best college that offers distance education courses for working people.

Placements: I'm pursuing this course PGDM through the distance education programme. In this specific course, the placement cell helps you know vacancies in companies all across India, and you can access it through your student login credentials. All the students can access this information about vacancies in different organisations. The placement rate was always high. The classes are regularly conducted here with good study materials. This course is very useful for working people who want to learn and earn ...

A reputed college with great infrastructure and a good ROI.

Placements: The summer internship process is currently going on, with about 70% of my batchmates getting placed in reputed companies like GEP, HDFC Bank, Reliance Jio, DHL, Siemens, among others. The highest stipend was offered by GEP of Rs 50,000 p. m. The placements of seniors are in full swing; about 80% already placed in organizations like Wipro as a Business System Analyst, Nielsen as an HR executive, Aditya Birla Group as a Management Trainee, etc. The average package has been around Rs 8-9 Lacs. I am satisfied with faculty, facilities, and overall environment.

Placements: There is a placement committee for every batch. All of these placement committees are quite efficient and work in tandem with each other. Lots of companies visit the campus for both summer internships and final placements. The average salary package offered is ranged between 8-9 LPA. The placement records vary with the academic standards of students.

Placements: Placements for summers have already started. Around 30% of the students got placed in well-known companies. In the executive placements, more than 50% of the students got placed with a good stipend. Career management cell (CMC) is the placement cell of our college, and it works efficiently.

It has very good infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: Welingkar Institute of Management, Mumbai enjoys a good reputation for providing both summer internships and executive placements. Currently, I am in the 1st year, and so far, about 15-20% of the core PGDM students have been placed through campus placements for summer internships. The highest stipend offered for interns is Rs. 50,000 per month including relocation assistance charges if any and the lowest is nil. Infrastructure is the best part of the college.

Placements: The college has a strong industrial connection with companies coming in for diverse roles. The companies from different industries have become a part of the placement process, considering the fact that the college has different courses. For the immediate seniors, till today, the average salary package offered was around 8 LPA.

Short review of Welingkar college.

Placements: Welingkar has enrolled a lot of PG students of rural, business design, and healthcare department for placements. Thus, the competition becomes tough for MS students. Less number of students should be enrolled in placements. In other colleges like Sydenham and JBIMS, there is less intake of students, and the competition is thus low.

There is a scope for improvement. If the fee is taken into consideration, they need to improve more.

Placements: The placement drives for our batch have just started, and it is observed that many good companies are visiting the campus to offer various profiles. The core healthcare companies like pharma and hospitals have not yet visited. The placement rate of our senior batch was 100%, and the roles were offered according to the students' choice. A great institute with good people.

Placements: According to my seniors, a lot of advertising and PR companies come to pick the students up. Though the initial pay might be low, the companies and the roles that are on-offer are more than enough to compensate it. Even though this is a media and entertainment specialisation, one can apply for any company that comes to Welingkar, as the college has a centralised placement process.

The course is good with in-depth exposure.

Placements: This is an executive programme for working executives. Therefore placement assistance was not offered from the institute. However, the alumni network provides a base for corporate tie-ups. This course has offered an in-depth knowledge of HR functions to students and helped them to get promotions.
