Welingkar Mumbai: m&e review 2024 good course.

Placements: Since I have just reached the second year, we will start getting placed in September-October. But, in general, over 300 companies come to campus for placements, and the highest package of the batch was 40 LPA last year. The average package is around 10-11 LPA. All students from our course got internships in different roles like sales, marketing, finance, client servicing, HR, etc., in marketing agencies, real estate companies like Runwal, Rustomjee, and many more renowned companies. Top roles o...

Satisfied with the faculty and management of the college.

Placements: Our college is one of the most prestigious colleges in India. Around 80–85% of students get on-campus placements every year. Top recruiting companies are Nestled, Byju's, TCS, Infosys, Accenture, etc. The average package provided at our college is 6-7 LPA. Our college also provides summer internships to students with a good stipend.

A bit of a rollercoaster ride but overall a good experience.

Placements: No, there are no placements done yet, but we are promised of them by the end of this month and we were called for interviews by companies but some of them get selected. You have to look for opportunities on your own and basically you have to save yourself.

Overall, Welingkar is a nice institute.

Placements: Actually, you are not provided admission here on the basis of academic percentage but mainly on the basis of experience. The average salary package offered here is around 3 LPA to 4 LPA. One of the top roles offered in the course is the role of a manager in a company.

Good placements, supporting faculty members and a competitive environment to learn.

Placements: From my senior batch, approximately 85% of students in my course got placed in my senior batch. The highest package of 18 Lacs was offered by Amazon, which was the highest amongst all specialisation. Average was 6 Lacs and the lowest was 3.5 Lacs. In my current batch summer internship was badly affected due to COVID 19 pandemic as it was the peak time of March- april when the media companies usually start hiring. Although there was full support from placement department and they somehow managed ...

The placement scenario is not that good. The infrastructure is good, but not that worthy.

Placements: Consultant, business analyst and many more roles are offered here, but mostly, they are offered to engineering background students. Many students strived for summer internships, and they didn't get it until the end of the course. Mostly marketing companies visit our campus and recruit marketing course students.

It is a decent college if you have a will to compete and learn.

Placements: Placements in our college are good for marketing and HR. Finance and operations lag. Companies like GEP, Morgan Stanley, CITI, IDBI, and Nestle do visit the campus, but the intake is very limited. More or less, everyone gets the internship. Roles like market research, sales, wealth management and general management are offered.

Great institution with a few solvable issues. Needs less of bureaucracy & hierarchy in the system.

Placements: WeSchool justifies its position of being just next to IIMs and IITs in terms of its ranking. It stands at par with other leading B-Schools in the country. About 70-80% of students definitely get placed and most of the remaining actually start their own enterprises, join their family business or arrange jobs for themselves. More or less students bag an average package of 8-9LPA. A 4-star review because the college could bring in many more better companies with the contacts it has, but sadly it do...

It is a college which provides average salary packages.

Placements: In our course, many placements are done in IT field and least in finance field. They do not pay much attention to the summer internship. Executive placements are pretty good. The highest salary package offered was 15 LPA, and the average salary package offered was 9 LPA. Top companies like Accenture, Capgemini, Amazon, Colgate, and HP are recruiting good talented students from our college in large numbers.

Great Infrastructure, experienced faculty members but limited exposure.

Placements: Summer internship- more than 40-45 people out of 60 were placed. Most of the companies that came in were highly recognised. However, the profiles that they offered were fairly average. Some even came in with a finance profile and offered a marketing on-field job.

Review of Welingkar Institute of Management.

Placements: Placements offered by our college are pretty good. The average package offered is around 8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was around 15 LPA. An entire department in the college is dedicated to placements and it is called Career Management Cell (CMC). Each class has a committee that takes care of your placement processes. The majority of the student from the college do get their executive placement.

The highest package is 9.5L, the lowest is 3.75L p. a. for avg, consider it to be 7L as of now. 3. BFSI sector is offering the highest (Infosys, Accenture, PWC) on other hand media agencies offering the lowest (the small big idea, FCB) 4. Roles - analyst, strategic management, SAP.
