Absolutely satisfied with the college a it provides good placements.
Placements: 80% of students were placed in 2021 in various tech companies. Packages offered are around 4-6 LPA. Purnea College of Engineering (PCE) is one of the new government engineering colleges established by the Government of Bihar under the department of science and technology. It started its first academic session in 2017 from the campus of Government Polytechnic, near Ram Nagar, Purnea. The new engineering college will have four engineering branches civil, mechanical, electrical, and electronics and communication, with an intake of 60 per branch and 240 students in total.
Infrastructure: Labs are currently not much good, but it's still under development. The classrooms are much better than we expected from Bihar engineering. The library is very good. There are ongoing innovations and upgradation in the course. The teaching and training methodologies are in sync with India's emerging technological superpower and the hub of developing technologies and technical manpower. Needless to say, the institute has scaled new heights and established standards of excellence duly recognised by its entitlement as an Institute of Excellence by All India Council for Technical Education (AICTE).
Faculty: The teachers are well educated and helpful. Mechanical engineering is an evergreen branch. If you're interested in mechanisms and want to build new gadgets, then it's a better option for you. Other: The campus crowd is good. Fests and events are organised by the college from time to time, and lots of students get to participate in programs and learn better leadership qualities. They improve their own understanding and skills. The college offers four core engineering branches, with an intake of 60 students per branch and 240 students as a whole. 10+2 qualified students can apply for admission. Admission to the course will be based on the marks obtained in either JEE or BCECE.
