Overall the infrastructure of the college and the faculty members are good.
Placements: Our college has a good placement record. This year, 10 to 12 students got placed, with the highest package being 9 LPA and the lowest being 3.3 LPA. The internship opportunities are also good. Most of the students get internships from Salesforce. Some students also get internships from DRDO.
Infrastructure: The hostel and academic buildings have Wi-Fi. There is a library for reading and separate labs for each course. The canteen and mess food are good, and medical emergencies are handled promptly. The college also has good sports facilities.
Faculty: The faculty are knowledgeable and helpful, and the teaching quality is good. All courses are relevant, and the college recently visited a nearby industry to provide practical knowledge. The semester examinations are a bit tough because they don't set questions from the last previous pattern.
Other: I chose B.Teach, but the branch I was assigned to was not my first choice. However, I am enjoying the program overall.

Its one of the best in Bihar if you have low budget.
Placements: Because I am from Computer Science Engineering with an Artificial Intelligence branch, I can inform you better about my branch's placements. In this year (meaning the 2020-24 batch), almost 60 percent of students were placed from our college, of which 4 to 6 students got the highest package of 9 LPA, then some got 5 LPA, and a few percent of students got the lowest package of 3.6 LPA. Recruiting companies like TCS, WIPRO, ACC, INFOSYS, and some startups visited our college. Almost 50-60 percent of students got their internships in their 6th semester in companies like Flippant, DRDO, Amazon, Dewalls Ad, and many more.
Infrastructure: Our college campus is about 50 acres, with two academic buildings (NAB, OAB), 3 boys' hostels (OBH, NBH, NNBH), 2 girls' hostels, faculty quarters, 2 temples, 1 canteen, 1 stationery shop, and 1 ATM. For sports, there are 2-3 badminton courts, a volleyball court, a huge ground for cricket and football, and an indoor room for chess and table tennis. The college has a big library with 28,000 books and also sitting arrangements with Wi-Fi and AC facilities. Classrooms are fully modified with smart boards, and labs are also properly working. The hostel mess has almost good food. My personal rating about the mess food is 3 out of 5. But the canteen provides good food if you want to eat.
Faculty: There is so many faculty members who are well qualified for IITs or NITs. They all are Ph.D. holders in their field. They teach us perfect they are also helpful. But 10 percent of faculty members are too rude in behavior Otherwise all good. Curriculum is changed currently which are relevant for future placement. Semester exam pass percentage is almost 70 to 80 percentage Means it's tough.
Other: I chose this course because, in the future, AI will be everywhere, and we have to have full knowledge about this field. I think our course, which is almost similar to the CSE syllabus, is not good. Because both are two different things, I think we should have a totally different syllabus. Our college organizes many events like Srijan (cultural event), Prakaram (sports), Aarambh (induction program), and many more sports and cultural events. The campus is a little far from the main city (Motihari), but connectivity is good. The college also provides scholarships like NDP and BIHAR STUDENT CREDIT CARD facilities. In extracurricular activities, there are many options. When you have startup ideas, the E-cell provides the right path for your startup dreams. Seniors are helpful (a little bit KHADOOS). There are also sports; if you are good at sports, then you can also compete with other college students like MIT Muzaffarpur or IIT Patna or anywhere. Here is my POV: you can explore all the things that happen in college, then select where you are interested and proceed. Our college always helps these types of students.

College is average. Take the admission at your own risk.
Placements: Placements are average for this college because mostly computer science students get them. The placement rate is around 40%. Campus placements are very rare; students have to make efforts in order to get the placements. The average package for this college is 4 lacs per year. There are 30% of students who do internships every year.
Infrastructure: Buildings are not very good they are poor in condition however the CCTV installed this year and some security has been increased. Separates hostels are available for the students. A practical laboratory is available but it is not in good condition. Mess food is not good, there is very less hygiene.
Faculty: Teachers are very good; they are well qualified in their subjects. Their teaching quality is excellent. Students are free to ask them any type of question. They provide the right guidance to the students. The latest curriculum is followed, which makes the students industry-ready.
Other: The infrastructure needs to be improved and they have to focus on hygiene in their food. Except for these, the college is very good in all aspects.

If you don't want to leave your home state then this college is good.
Placements: It is right to say that this is the worst college for placements no proper arrangements for placements. The placement cell is not very active. Mostly only 30-40% gets placements from the campus. The top recruiting company for our course is Mahindra and Tata steel.
Infrastructure: The institute has a below average infrastructure, with this poor infrastructure they are unable to arrange any event or cultural fest at our institute that's the reason students aren't very interested in this college. Quality of mess food is not good.
Faculty: Faculty is the only good thing in this college. The teachers are very dedicated and intellectual. The teaching quality is excellent. Teachers help students to solve their doubts. Course curriculum is very relevant. Semester exams are moderate level. Students need to buy books themselves.
Other: This institute is poor for its infrastructure but teachers are very good here.

Review of Motihari college of engineering, Motihari.
Placements: Placements are mainly for those who belong to IT branches (CS and EEE). Only a few companies come for placement. There is almost no placement for the civil and mechanical (CE and ME) branches. It's better to focus on the GATE exam and government jobs. Last year, the placement cell of MCE took some steps to promote placements.
Infrastructure: Since last year, there have been huge changes in the infrastructure as new academic buildings are ready to use. Campus security is well developed with SiS security and full campus CCTV is provided. There are three boy hostels, of which one is newly built. Two girls hostel and one is newly made.
Faculty: Faculty are really hardworking and fully focused on completing the syllabus. 75% attendance is required to become eligible to appear in the semester exam. This year (2023), MCE has organised a cultural event called SHRIJAN, in which various sports and cultural events are managed. Overall, MCE, under the guidance of respected principal Abhay Kr. Jha, is performing well. Exams were held according to guidelines provided by Bihar Engineering University.
Other: Overall, I had an average experience of college life (less enjoyment, more work).

It's a third tier college so what more to expect!
Placements: The placement in our college is not very good, the on-campus placement is not good. But if you rely on your skills, work harder, and go for off-campus, you may secure a handsome package, as our seniors who passed in 2024 got placed at TCS at 9 LPA, so it is all up to you how much you work hard.
Infrastructure: There's a lot of bare land, which can be utilized to build amazing infrastructure, but whatever is there, there are labs, classrooms, and a library too, and also Wi-Fi availability. There are specific labs according to the demand, as there are physics labs, chemistry labs, B.E. labs, etc.
Faculty: The teachers are, of course, qualified and knowledgeable, but the thing is you have to study by yourself only, as teachers just teach the basics, or 60%. All 100% you have to do by yourself. The minimum criteria to pass is at least a 5 CGPA in your semester exams. Yes, the exams are neither tough nor easy. They are moderate.
Other: I did choose this course because this is in high demand nowadays, and I myself have been interested in solving questions and doing coding.
