RNSIT: The Good and the Bad.

Placements: According to the last placement data submitted to NAAC, the total placed students percentage was roughly 40 percent, which is pretty average considering the top recruiters are from mass hiring firms like Accenture and Infosys. They boast the highest package of 52 Lacs, but it's all fake; the most you can get is up to 15 -16 LPA, and the average package goes up to 4 to 5 Lacs. The internships situation is similar, with some students getting into companies with a max stipend of 50000.

Decent college with good faculty.

Placements: The placements are decent. The highest package till date is 56 Lacs. The highest package for batch 2024 is 46 Lacs. They provide training for placements from the 3rd year. The placements are only for the 4th year. Computer science and engineering have good placements.

RNSIT complete and honest review.

Placements: Over 60% of the students are placed from the 7th sem, which is quite a good placement percentage in the year 2024. The highest package offered was 26.65 LPA, and the average is 4.5 LPA. Top recruiters like Infosys, Amazon, TCS still haven't visited this year due to recession, but they came last year. Internships are offered to students based on the technical test given by the companies. Roles like associate software engineer and tester are offered.

Short review of my college RNSIT .

Placements: As I am in my first year, I don't have much idea about it, but as much as I know, I am telling. Approximately 90% of students get placed. In my branch, the average package is about 5 LPA, and the lowest package is 3 LPA. The top companies are Infosys, TCS, Adobe, and many others, but mostly students get placed in Infosys in bunches.

Best College For M.Tech. !

Placements: Our college is best known for its placement drive. Almost 90% of the students get placed in our college. One can easily get a job of 3.5 Lacs per annum provided by Wipro. Our placement session starts at the ending of the 3 semester. Many big companies such as Microsoft etc. Come for recruitment. The highest salary package is of 16 Lacs per annum and the lowest salary package was of 1 Lacs per annum. The average salary package was of 5 Lacs per annum.

Quality Education, ISE department is lenient, but the fees is way too much.

Placements: According to the placement department, most of the students (around 80%) have been placed depending upon the CTC. It includes the oncampus as well as ofcampus data though. The top courses are ISE, CSE and ECE. Students who get the placement offer are also offered internships. The top companies that came are as follows Mercedes Benz, Wipro, TCS, Infoys, Capgemini, Nokia, Texas Instruments, Zscaler, HashedIn, Impress, Trilogy Innovations.

I would not recommend this college if you want a good college life.

Placements: The college specifically for the CSE branch offers average placements. Most of the students in our branch are placed with the package of 3.5 LPA - 6 LPA. There do exist larger companies that offer higher placements and offers but only a few people get it. As for internships, we generally have a paid internship program in our 3rd year. I recommend this institution only if you're confident with your skills in CS as it can give you pretty good placement packages. Adobe and Amazon are some of the to...

I suggest you to think before choosing a VTU affiliated college.

Placements: The placement rate here is well, as above 50% of the students got placed. But the average salary package offered is just average, and it is around 7 LPA-8 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 19 LPA last year, which was provided by Amazon to 1 student. This is the highest package for the CSE branch. Internships are just average for the 3rd and 4th year.

Average placement, bad facilities and average teaching.

Placements: The percentage of students placed are high in ISE but the package are very standard around 4-5 lacs and not much big companies visit the campus for packages greater than 10 Lacs. And mostly people get placed in mass recruitment only, and they provide technical and non-technical placement training.

Typical VTU college, nothing special; overall disappointing.

Placements: Placement statistics of RNSIT are very deceptive. They will market that they have 95% or more placement percentage, but most of the students are hired by IT companies and mass recruiters. It's good for CS IS students. Very few ECE, EEE and other branch core companies visit RNSIT, so core placements are terrible. Be good in computer fundamentals, you'll get job regardless of your branch.

The review of RNSIT college.

Placements: Placements are pretty good as compared to other colleges in Bangalore. But mostly IT company visits the campus. As for mechanical engineering no core companies will visit the campus. So make sure about that before taking mechanical and civil engineering.

Satisfied with the teachers but highly disappointed with the placements in the mechanical branch.

Placements: Placements for our seniors were not that good. Usually, it's low compared to other branches. However, if you study well and have no backlogs, then you have a better chance to seek jobs. The placement rate in the mechanical branch is around 67%. The highest salary package offered in the branch is around 6 LPA. The average salary package offered is around 3.5 LPA. The major core companies like Autocop, Textron, Byju's, Sankalp Semiconductors, Cyient, Thasmai Automation, Hive Minds, Bosch India, To...

Absolutely disappointed with placements.

Placements: The placements for M.Tech students are very bad. I suggest not to prefer higher studies in this college. Few professors help you but not up to the mark. Select any other good college for masters. Bachelors degree is good when compared to masters. Think twice before you opt this college for studying masters.

Our college is the best among colleges at the same level.

Placements: The placements are good for those students who reach eligibility criteria. But, those who don't have 65% aggregate, do not get placed. The college needs to place all the students of R.V, Rammaiah, KIIT, etc. There are the worst placements for mechanical students, no core company visit the college.

Placements: The placements are nice. The college gets more companies with high packages like Tata, Infosys, Mindtree, Accenture. Around 70 students got internships from colleges and there is a placement cell.

RNS is not good college for course.

Placements: Students are not been placed anywhere. Just we have to join this college for completion of degree. We have to search for jobs outside. Some of the companies visits for recruitment but we don't even noticed that our seniors telling that we have got job.

Moderate college because of faculty and placement.

Placements: Got placed in INFOSYS from college. However, very limited choice was there during our placement time. Accenture didn't come. No companies came for Mechanical branch students. Few of my friends are still unplaced from mechanical engineering background. Almost 70-75% people got placed during my time but college shows 100% placement to new students.
