Placements: RVCE's placement model is not like IIT model where multiple companies appear on campus on a single day. One day-one company. If you get placed in a company with CTC offer more than 8 lacs INR, you are done with placements and can no longer appear for placements. As a trend, within 1st one and half month most of CS, IS, EC students get placed. Mass recruitment happens with companies like Infosys, Accenture and Cognizant. Coming to stats, almost every student interested in placements gets placed. ...
Placements: The placements are significantly good for CS, ISE and ECE branch maintaining an average of 7-8 LPA while having nearly 100% placement. While branches such as mechanical, EEE, TE also maintains an average of 4-5 LPA, but branches such as chemical, biotech get non-tech jobs. The students are trained priorly for the placement throughout the 3rd year.
Placements: The placement in RVCE is really excellent. There is 100% placement for ECE, CSE, and ISE department. This year, out of 200 people in EC department, 100 people got above 8 LPA. Almost all top companies visited the college this year. The highest package offered was 36 LPA. The lowest package is 3 LPA. Microsoft, Uber, Qualcomm, Amazon, Goldman Sacs are few companies which visited for placements.
Placements: RVCE is known for its placements. Most of the students get placed (nearly 75%+). The placements of the circuit branches are 90%. The average salary offered is 6-8 Lacs. Also, there is placement training for every student who undergoes BE programme in the college.
Placements: Sector-specific placements for the electrical branch are less. You will definitely be placed in IT mass recruiting companies like Cognizant or Infosys. Very high placements like those in Cisco, Citrix, etc. are also there. Make sure you do justice to your course and put in extra effort during placements.
Placements: A good record of placement which is held by R V college of engineering, which implies that all the eligible students in all the streams of engineering can opt for placements in major companies. The placement training is introduced in the second and third year to get exposed to placements.
Placements: The placements offered at RVCE is 100% for all the branches. For the 2017 batch, the average package offered for CSE and ISE is 10 lakhs per annum, and the highest offered is 28 lakhs per annum. For ECE the average salary offered is 8 lakhs per annum and the highest salary package is 26 lakhs per annum. For all other branches the average package offered is around 6 lakhs per annum, and the minimum salary offered here is 3.25 lakhs per annum. Even for biotech, overall placements of RVCE is compar...
Placements: The placements are good in RV, especially for computer science engineering, information science engineering & electronics and communication engineering people. The mechanical and IEM placements are best among all Bangalore colleges, and it is increasing every year.
Placements: I've heard about the placement in which all are getting placed, whereas only a few of them are not placed due to the academic issue. Lots of people start their startup company to make a change in their system. I still have no clue about the placements because I haven't experienced any of them.
Placements: The placements for 2018 batch are going really well. The highest package was 40LPA offered by Uber. Around 150-200 companies are visiting RVCE every year including Goldman Sachs, Microsoft, Mckinsey & Co., Morgan Stanley, Adobe, Cisco, etc. The campus has got around 250+ open dream offers offering more than 8LPA.
Placements: The placement cell is good but not as good for the other branches. The placements are very good as compared to the other colleges. A minimum of 10 companies will come for the placements. The average package offered is about Rs. 3 lakhs to Rs. 4 lakhs. At maximum, it can go up to Rs. 10 lakhs. Some core companies like L&T, Shahpurji Palanji, Atkins, Total Environment, Brigade Group, etc., and many more IT companies also visit the campus.
Placements: Several companies have visited the campus for biotechnology like Accenture, Byjus, ZS, L&T information, Infosys, Cognizant. But very few core companies like Wrig Nanosystems, Quintiles Ims have visited the campus. Also, the college has a policy that only companies above 3 LPA are allowed so that way it is good. The placements are good in the college, and the highest was that of Adobe (for computer science and IT) which was about Rs. 48 LPA and the lowest was of Infosys which was about Rs. 3.15 ...
Placements: There is a good placement cell with a good placement coordinator. Some students end up getting 25 LPA, and 85% of the students get placement every year. The average salary is about 4-5 LPA, but CGPA will be good always. If you had 6 CGPA and cleared all subjects, you are eligible for the placements.
Placements: The placement is good in RVCE where few students are getting 27-30 lakhs package every year, but you should clear all the subjects before entering the fourth year. Few companies coming to RVCE requires high CGPA. So, better CPGA is always a good thing to follow. If you clear all the subjects, then you can recruit in mass companies.
Placements: For mechanical engineering students, the placement packages lie in the range of 4-7 lakhs per annum. Although it varies from company to company and students to students, generally the students with project management skills, communication skills, and other software skills bag higher packages than other students who just stick to basics of academics.
Placements: The mechanical placement is average. Computer science and Information science courses are at their best. Electronics guys also received good packages. If one got placed in any of the company with package above 8 lacs, then he cannot sit for any other company. There were placement training programmes during the 3rd year and in the beginning of the 4th year.
Placements: The placements in core companies are usually less as compared to CS and IT related companies. The overall placement in core companies was only 40 percent during our time. It was also due to the fact that our placement committee didn't give preference to companies whose packages were less. The regular date slots to visit the college for placements were given to IT related companies since their packages were high. In short, branches like mechanical and civil are highly deprived of relevant compani...
Placements: I don't know much about my senior batch, but for our batch, the placements started with a boom, especially for CS and IS branches. Companies are visiting every day or the other. The percentage is almost 100% as our college as a set of rules for placements so that every student gets the opportunity. This year, placements started in mid-July, and around 50-60 students from computer science only got a package of 8 lacs+ (which we call an open dream offer). The highest was 23 lacs offered by the tec...
Placements: Placements wise, RVCE is one of the best colleges in Bangalore, in fact, in Karnataka. Last year, around 115 people out of 140 in my department got placed. For mechanical branch, the salaries are in a range of 4-9 lpa. You can have a good chance of getting into your dream jobs in Bosch, Toyota, BEML, GE, etc. It also offers internships through the college.
Placements: Placements for our batch were good but when compared to the previous batch, it is less due to the fluctuation in the market, almost 90% of the students got placed. The highest package was offered by Walmart, around 18 lakhs and the average salary is around 4 to 5 lakhs. The roles were mostly related to software. Around 60% of the students got an internship.
