Pretty satisfactory with the peaceful atmosphere.
Placements: All of the students in my batch are yet to attend placements. The highest package was 21 lacs per annum in my course. The average is 6 lacs per annum in my course. Almost 90 percent of the students get internships at companies like Google and Wipro.
Infrastructure: The students of RVITM are provided with good Wi-Fi with relatively high speeds. The canteen is located in the basement. It has a pretty big eating area and provides tables for the consumers. The menu has a variety of foods. Apart from the normal foods, many snacks are also sold.
Faculty: The teachers are highly qualified individuals with a thorough understanding of the subject. They are very helpful. Apart from the main curriculum, the students are also taught different things, like how to work with Arduino. There are also many clubs that help students develop skills.

Review of R V Institute of Technology and Management.
Placements: Minimum 120 students were placed per year in the CS branch. There is a minimum package of 4 LPA and the maximum package is 40 LPA. Till now, a lot of companies came there, like Wipro, Tata Motors, HAL, and HMT. Minimum 10 to 15 students got internships in individual companies and there are lot of chances to get high internships with high packages. There are a lot of things they taught us, like how to get internships. That's all about our college.
Infrastructure: There were very highly prepared classrooms with advanced technology and the labs are also excellent and the library is too much good I have ever seen. They provide the facilities not free, some cost is there, the hostel is very good, the rooms are also better, and mainly the food is very nice; it tastes like home-made food. Overall, it is excellent .
Faculty: There are highly educated lecturers there; they completed Ph.D., M.Sc., and other degrees. The teaching level is good for the newly added students; it looks a little bit hard, but day by day they will understand everything. There are fewer courses there, so that's why they can focus on every one and make them ready to face the interview. It's not difficult; it depends on the student; they will work; it's almost easy, and the passing percentage is 35 out of 100. It will be reduced for making some calculations by lectures. I don't have any idea about this.
Other: I chose this course because from it I can get easy internships and this is the best course that I heard. No, there are already better things about the course. The events and festivals are very good made by the college, but the campus is a little bit smaller than other colleges but its okay; it has connectivity with a lot of companies and campus selection is also very good there.

Faculty is good, bad placements for 2025, campus crowd is good.
Placements: Placements began in the month of August and less than 35 students have been placed out of 120. We were told it is due to bad economy and politics. The highest package was 24 LPA and the lowest has been 4 LPA as of now. Average is 8 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Accenture, PhonePe, Cognizant, Athena, Honeywell, etc. have come. Roles offered were mainly software engineer, software developer, and IT trainee.
Infrastructure: Wi-Fi is available throughout the college but it's not as strong. Labs are well maintained and equipped with necessary equipment. Library is good with access to many academic books. There's a good number of classrooms to accommodate all the students with a smart board along with a normal chalk board. There's also a lecture recording facility where recorded lectures are posted on the app for students to access throughout the semester. There's a canteen in the basement which is okay overall. Serves all kinds of food like idli, dosa, fried rice, chats, Gobi Manchurian, etc. There's a small basketball court and a medium-sized field for football, cricket, etc.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, with the majority holding PhDs. Also, most teachers have published papers in journals and conferences. They are generally helpful and nice. The curriculum is VTU-based. Mostly it is good, however some subjects are added that are not useful for engineering students, like Biology. There are 3 internal exams per semester called CIE for 50 marks, which are easy generally. Final exam, i.e., SEE, is also generally easy, and model papers are provided. Length matters more than content in exams. Passing marks in SEE are 35/100, whereas in CIE it's 18/50.
Other: There are a lot of extracurricular activities conducted with respect to sports and clubs. Many clubs from different departments are there to join that conduct regular workshops. Fest is usually in the month of August and called Sambhram. Students from different colleges participate in a 2-day-long event. Campus crowd is good. Everyone is generally friendly, there's no ragging.

Our college infrastructure may be small, but the knowledge we get inside is as large as the Amazon.
Placements: For CSE, it's above 85 percent, and the pass percentage is 79 percent. 70 percent of electronics students get placed in our college. Top companies like MNCs SENSEMI, Accenture, Infosys, and Wipro are the top companies for internships in our college. VLSI is the top role we get in our course.
Infrastructure: Facilities in our college are very good. There is a very fast Wi-Fi connection. Labs are maintained exceptionally. And the lab instructors are very knowledgeable. Cascadi heard that even the hostel facility is awesome. I don't stay in the hostel, so I don't know much about it. There are also good ground medical facilities.
Faculty: Teachers are very much well-known except for a few. But they are very much interactive with students. Yes, the course curriculum is relevant and it makes the students industry-ready. It’s very difficult in our college; the way our college conducts examinations is next level.
Other: I chose this course because I can go towards software and hardware as well. As I said, the best thing in our course is that we go towards software and hardware. They also conduct culture events and also electronic-based events .

Really great college. Excellent faculty. Great atmosphere. Good placements. Good infrastructure.
Placements: The placements for this year are still going on as of now. And the highest CTC offered this year as of now is 29 LPA from ECE. 4 students from ECE have been placed in Qualcomm. The highest CTC for CS as of now is 25 LPA and for ISE is 24.7 LPA. The lowest package is around 4 LPA. The average package is around 10 to 12.5 LPA across all the branches. The top recruiting companies are Qualcomm, Intel, Phonepe, Walmart, Oracle, HPE, Philips, AT&T, Anz, and Epsilon, among various others. RVITM has several clubs that regularly organize bootcamps and visits to prestigious institutions like IIT Bombay, IIT Madras, and IISc Bangalore, among many others. We also have companies like IBM that organise workshops in our college. The students also get the opportunity to work as interns in several companies in and around Bangalore. The students are placed in these companies as Hardware engineers, software development engineers, application developers, system reliability engineers, etc. The highest CTC offered last year was 40 LPA. And a good number of students go for higher studies like doing their Masters in engineering, doing their MBA or even pursuing a career in research.
Infrastructure: The college has good parking space both for students and teachers. The building is equipped with elevators. The college has a good canteen and a stationary shop. The college has a well-built auditorium. The hostel is 5 minutes away from the campus. The rooms in the hostel have attached washrooms. We have both washing machines in the hostel and laundry service. The food is good. The students conduct a meeting once in a while to discuss the food menu. The hostel serves only vegetarian food, but non-vegetarian food can be consumed in their respective rooms. The room cleaning is done every day and maintenance is also regularly checked. The hostel also has elevators.
Faculty: Almost all the professors in the institute are PhD holders and some have more than one PhD. Right now, there are 4 branches of engineering being taught in the institute. And all these branches have really good and strong faculty who are exceptional at teaching. We also have the facility of watching these same lectures online in case we miss the classes. The prescribed curriculum is by the VTU. But the college holds on to the promise of making the students industry-ready by providing bootcamps, hackathons, workshops and internships. The library has the PYQ's of all branches that will be available for the students to refer to for the examinations, which are very helpful. The students can obtain the PPTs displayed in the classes, the lesson plans, the modules, syllabus and videos related to the subject on the student portals.
Other: The college also announces scholarship opportunities for students. The college has a committee that organizes the fests and events, be they cultural, academic or extracurricular. There are several sports which are played and the students will be given training for. There is NCC too. The students are regularly sent to NCC camps and provided with proper training and guidance for that.

Infrastructure: Our course has many facilities. In our college, we have Wi-Fi facilities and good washrooms. Labs in the college classrooms are clean, and canteen food is good. We have a large library. We also have hostel facilities, including games and good food in the mess. Many games are available.

Q:   How is the mess food at R.V Institute of Technology and Management?

A:

After spending four years at R V College, many students come to appreciate the excellent placement opportunities that the college provides. However, when you ask about the hostels, you will hear two main things that stand out. The first is, as mentioned before, the remarkable placement record, and the second is the hostel food, which is often described as an unforgettable experience in the life of Bengaluru.

Unlike other college hostels, where catering is often outsourced to external contractors, R V College takes a unique approach. They hire all the staff, including the cook, as employees of the institution itself. This ensures a higher level of cleanliness and quality in the hostel mess.

One particularly interesting aspect of the hostel food is that students play a significant role in deciding the monthly food chart. The recipes mentioned in the chart become the dishes served for the entire month. It's a way of involving the students and giving them a say in what they eat, making the dining experience more enjoyable and varied.

The food served in the hostels primarily consists of vegetarian dishes, as non-vegetarian options are not provided. While this might disappoint some, the variety and taste of the vegetarian dishes more than make up for it.

R V College has a total of four hostels and three messes. For first-year students, Cauvery Hostel and Mess are compulsory. From the second year onwards, students have the option to choose any mess they prefer.

Cauvery Mess is renowned for its delicious South Indian dishes, making it a favorite among students hailing from the southern part of India. On the other hand, Sir MV Hostel is famous for its mouthwatering North Indian dishes, making it the go-to choice for students from the northern regions. Lastly, DJ Mess offers a mix of both South and North Indian cuisines, appealing to students who appreciate the best of both worlds.

Overall, the hostel experience at R V College is memorable and enjoyable, with delicious food and a mix of cultures creating a welcoming atmosphere for students throughout their academic journey.
