Raisoni Group of Institutions Reviews on Placements, Faculty & Facilities ,Nagpur

Placements: Hardly any placements happened in the college during my batch and the senior's batch as well. Most of the placements were off-campus ones. TPO did not give much focus in bringing the companies. Also, the package offered was below the market trend. Mostly, you have to go to DY Patil, PCCOE, etc., which are good colleges for the placements.

Placements: This year Mphasis and Amazon conducted placements, but they are not core related companies for mechanical engineering. Some students got selected on Amazon campus drive. But now, this college is autonomous. So, placements improve in two years. There are many students fail to give aptitude. But now college focus on to improve knowledge of students in the autonomous syllabus.

Placements: The college has good placement assistance. The TPO is working on companies and bringing them to the campus. It has become autonomous now so that some companies will be visiting and it will be really helpful to improve the placement record.

Placements: The placements of the senior batch were good compared to my batch. The companies such as ultra tech cement and Orange city Nagpur. The college is best for electronic and telecommunications and computer science stream because a lot of companies come for the placements.

Placements: The placements provided by the college were not very good. Persistent is a regular recruiter. However, it's selection criteria is very tough. NVIDIA also came for our batch, but the cut-offs were very high. Only toppers were placed in the batch. You have to try for off-campuses and walk-ins for the placements, that is what the most of our batch mates have done. The C-DAC course and the SAP course are the other options that the students tried from the outside placements.

Placements: The placement team was good. The seniors have been placed in various companies. The MNCs companies like TCS and Capgemini are the major recruiting company. The Amazon is also one of the top MNCs who visited the college. The Axis bank, TCS, and Capgemini are the recruiters to the college. 3-4 students are placed out of ten. The students also get the internships. The highest package offered was 3.2 LPA, and the mean package was 1.2 LPA.

Placements: The college does not arrange the placements, no company come to the campus, so students face many problems after their graduation. The college does not take any arrange any campuss interviews, if they arrange the interview, it will be only in Nagpur branch.

Placements: The placement of the college is decent. Not 100% but many of the students got placed in the companies that visited the campus. Global Logic, Smart data, Persistence Ltd., ICICI, L& T Info Tech, etc. are some of the companies that visited the campus for recruitment.

Placements: Mostly, software companies visited among which TCS recruited the highest number of students with 3-4 lacs per annum salary. Companies which visited in the academic year 2012-13 are TCS, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, Trident, and many more. Students were given special training class for clearing the companies filtration process which showed a great success after looking at the placement of the students. Placements: Decent placements with the average package of 3.3 lakhs per annum. But most of the students applied for the teaching profile in the same college as an assistant professor. Campus placement for M.Tech is a little bit better as compared to the Bachelor of Engineering.

Placements: There were very few people placed in our batch. They brought fewer companies and there was no company with good packages. But this year, the college became autonomous so there might be an improvement in the placement section. They don't prepare the students for the placement before the drives due to which very few students are selected.

Placements: Truly speaking, there is no campus placements for civil engineers at my time. Only one company Tech Mahindra had come to offer civil engineering students an IT-based job. Rather then that, only one or two persons were selected in our batch whose interviews had to be given in Nagpur-based Gh Raisoni College. No special companies had come for the pune campus. I do not think that any of the students of our branch had joined through the campus selections.

Placements: For our batch placements were good. The college management was successful in bringing big giants like Amazon, IBM, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, and many more for the placement drives. I was one of the students placed in IBM. Overall, students placed from college placement drive were more than 70%. Also, management did great work in training students for the placement drives which helped students a lot. Placements: The placement in the college is very bad as the least placements were provided to mechanical engineering. Hardly 2-3 companies visited the college with low packages offered. Nearly 2.2 lakhs is the average salary package offered here. About 8 students were placed from the last batch of mechanical engineering during the placements.
