Is ME/M.Tech at Rajarambapu Institute of Technology (RIT) worth the investment?

Here's a summary of the key points:

    Pros:

    * Excellent placement records, with 100% placement rates reported by several students
    * Industry-oriented curriculum, with practical learning and projects
    * Experienced and knowledgeable faculty, with many holding Ph.D.s
    * Good infrastructure, including Wi-Fi-enabled campus, well-equipped labs, and modern classrooms
    * Supportive placement cell and career guidance
    * Opportunities for internships and research collaborations
    * Affordable hostel fees and good hostel facilities

    Cons:

    * Limited number of companies visiting for M.Tech placements
    * Placement record is poorer for M.Tech compared to B.Tech
    * Limited emphasis on sports and extracurricular activities
    * Poor Wi-Fi connection
    * Limited availability of certain resources, such as bookstores and libraries

    Conclusion:

Campus, free nature of overall institute.
Placements: From the third year itself, students start to get placed, and placement continues till the last year. Lot of companies visit the campus like Accenture, Capgemini, Wipro, Cognizant, PTC, NICE, Mastek, Quick Heal, etc. The highest package is 25 Lacs, and the average package is 4 Lacs. Placement percentage is 75 to 80.
Infrastructure: Virangula is the name of the annual fest, it goes for 4-5 days and generally in February. Apart from that, every department has its own events, so much fun. Talking about the library, one of the biggest libraries you will ever see. 5-floor building dedicated to the library. You will get every resource material of any type, not only just academics. Sports - Not much importance to sports if you are willing to do both academics and sports. But for entertainment-wise, it is good. Different clubs are formed by students just like other big institutions.
Faculty: Faculty of our college is quite good. The staff is skilled except for some teachers only. We can reach them anytime. Some faculty members are rude, and no one likes them. There are two main exams in-sem and end-sem, which are university exams conducted by SPPU. Otherwise, they conduct unit tests and mock tests.

The infrastructure, campus security are very well organized.
Placements: Our college places a strong emphasis on practical experience, offering a range of internship opportunities. Many companies are providing internships like TCS, Wipro, IBM. Infosys offer a software. This internship helps us to grow our knowledge in the real world.
Infrastructure: There are many annual festivals of every department in October and at the end of the month, and many clubs are provided to the students by the faculty members. The campus's range and accessibility of books are very good, and we can access a book for a month or for a week from the library by using our library card. Overall, sports and curriculum are very good. There are many basketball courts, football courts, badminton courts, and a 10-year cricket field, and many more games are played throughout the year.
Faculty: Faculty-to-student ratio is 1:15. The faculty of the college is very supportive and helpful. They solve any minor or major doubt we have. I liked the faculty member, Smita Ketan Hadawale Ma'am, because she is more active and has good interaction with the class. Exams are not that difficult. There are three types of levels in college: 1st round, 2nd round, and last round.

Reviewing my M.Tech in Structural Engineering .
Placements: 3rd semester students are eligible placements but only 4-5 companies visit for Masters students for campus hiring. Average package offered in this course was around 4 LPA and the lowest was 2.2 LPA with the highest package of 7 LPA. Most of the students got internships with CBRI, and big Shark constructions.
Infrastructure: Our campus is very big and the labs are located in different places, we need to take long walks for practicals. We have an advanced featured practical setup. There is no Wi-Fi for the students, it is for the office use only. Our hostel is the best having all the essential facilities including laundry facility, washing machines etc. Mess and canteen food is tasty and the quality is good.
Faculty: Faculty and management is good and strict, but even then the students performances are not good. Teachers force the students to pay fees. The break time between the lectures is very less. The course curriculum makes us industry ready and it includes design software. Semester exams are a little tough consisting of a total of 70 marks out of which 27 marks are required to pass.
