Review of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: It is a very good college for placements and provides big opportunities for engineering students. Placements in our college are amazing. We also get many internships and the TNP cell helps a lot. There are a lot of companies coming to our college and providing many opportunities to us.

I think our college is not the best but also not the worst.

Placements: There are not many placements here, but they are improving day by day. Reputed companies never visit here. Only a few students get selected even if companies visit. Overall, out of 10 stars, I will give 4 stars for placements.

I am satisfied because of the faculty and good cultural programs.

Placements: As our college has multiple trades, i.e., civil engineering, electronic and communication engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, so the placements are very good. Many companies visit our college for placements. Mostly 30-40% of the students grab placement.

College demands lots of improvement in quality education and placement drives.

Placements: Placements are very little at our college. 25000 per month was the highest salary. Pie infocom was recruiting company this time. Students have to themselves search companies for training. Our college is new college so it's in growing face. Mass recruitment are very little.

The college has a good infrastructure.

Placements: Our college doesn't provide placements for final year students as they get close to pass out, this could be because it's not that much famous yet but, student's future who are currently pursuing, they get nothing except degree from this college. We get an only degree from our college, but if we get placements also in the same college, then it would be perfect.

The college is very good. It provides opportunities for new students.

Placements: A few companies visited our institute. Our seniors got placed in those companies. Other than those, students also prepare for the GATE entrance test. Based on the GATE score, companies recruit students, but the pay scale offered is not much high. The requirements of companies were that students should have good communication and skills.

It is a very beautiful campus surrounded by the beauty of nature.

Placements: Our college is not situated close to the industrial area, so very few companies show their interest, and they select students with very low packages. The percentage of students placed is very low, between 5-8%. The average package is about 3-4 Lacs per annum.

The college is good with great opportunities.

Placements: The college is new, but some placements are offered. In future, there will be some more placements. You can take admission here. If you try to have placements within the college period, it would be difficult for you. I suggest trying to get another college for that purpose. Our college is good for government jobs.

Basically it;s a government engineering college having good facilities and staff.

Placements: There are basically four main branches in our college. And my branch is civil engineering. The average package is about 15,000. About 95% of students go for internships every year. Basically there are private companies in which they do their internships. In our college, most of students applied for UPSC and GATE.
