My college is good for learners who really want to learn things .

Placements: 20% of students got on-campus placement. Many students go off campus because of campus placement being better than on-campus placement. The highest package offered is around 8-9 lacs, and the lowest cannot be said. Top recruiting companies are Tata, DRDO, and JSW. Students find their internships on their own; they do not help, but teachers help students with internships.

The college is absolutely satisfied because of its best faculty members and their teaching methods.

Placements: The percent of students placed in ECE is 78%, and the highest package at our college is 1 crore and the lowest is 56 lakhs. The top companies that came to our college were Samsung, Hero, etc. The students got internships at DRDO, NASA, etc. This course has the most jobs in it.

Not dissatisfied, but some things disappoint me, although the infrastructure is good.

Placements: In my knowledge, 40-60% were placed in my course. The highest package is around 5 Lacs, and the average is around 2.5 Lacs. Bajaj, Panasonic, Microtex, etc., are companies. Roles offered in my course are like a structural engineer, civil engineer, geotechnical engineer.

Technical but not actually Technical.

Placements: Students with above 60% are placed in my course. The highest package offered in our course is 240000 and the lowest is 120000. Companies like microtech, byju, and some software based companies came to college for placement. Only 1 % to 2% students got placements. Top role is Trainee Engineer.

Top recruiting companies are Punj Lloyd, CCCL, KME Project LTD, and L&T. Almost 75% of students got internships. Top roles offered are transportation engineer, structural engineer, environmental engineer, etc. Our college provides good placements.

Rajiv Gandhi government engineering college, Nagrota Bagwan review

Placements: Placement in our college is below average because companies for only electrical and electronics & communication branch come in college. And even if you score a decent CGPA, their package starts from 3 lakh per annum only. For civil branch only 1 or 2 companies come in college and that also in every 2 to 3 years.

Absolutely good college with placements opportunities.

Placements: Placements are average. Worthy students get placed. CGPA above 7.5 is required to sit in interviews. Placements percentage is above 40%. Companies like AR Electric visit here and PI infocom also. The highest package was 450000 and average package is 250000.

I am satisfied with our college.

Placements: In our college, there are average placements, but they offer good salary packages. In all four branches, students are placed in good companies. Companies are trying to approach this government college because each company wants to contract with them. They are offering good salary packages for every branch.

Good infrastructure but lacking good staff.

Placements: Above 7 CGPA all are eligible for sit-in interviews. The highest package is 4. 5 LPA. Above 7 CGPA students got internships in good companies. Four engineering courses are there civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and ECE.

Our college has all the necessary infrastructure, facilities, and equipment.

Placements: There is no placement offered by our college. So I can not say about the percentage of students getting placed or the highest salary package offered. As the college is situated in rural areas so there is too less chance of getting placed and few companies come.

Our college has a very good infrastructure and facilities and very nice environment.

Placements: The campus placement of our college is quite low compared to NIT Hamirpur and IIT Mandi. But our college ensures that the deserving and good students will surely get into good campus placements. The highest salary package given to a student was 10 LPA. According to infrastructure and various other facilities, this package is a great success for our college. Campus placement is done in the 7th semester. The students who are brilliant in studies and have some practical knowledge are selected very ...

This college is not the best but still, it has a way to go.

Placements: Not many students were selected. In a group of 70, only 2-3 students might get selected depending upon the skill level of the individual. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 8 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA - 4 LPA. I am not sure about the other things so maybe it's best to choose skills without wasting your time.

Placements: The placements of our college are overall good. I cannot say much about it but the placements in the ECE branch are good. The average salary package offered is 2.5 LPA and the highest salary package offered is 5 LPA. The main recruiting companies are Microtex, Bajaj, Panasonic, etc.

Placements: Placements are good. Students are getting placed after their degree and some are not placed because they choose higher studies. Some students get a salary package of 4 to 5 LPA.

According to my opinion, college is good for pursuing your dreams.

Placements: Placement wise college is said to be average. Many companies visit but few get a chance of having placements. The minimum package here is about 3 LPA as the college is a government one due to which limited companies visit here. The placement cell working on it for better output to date.

It is a decent college, but there are more good options.

Placements: Our college is new, so the placements are not that good. But efforts are being made by the administration toward this. One of our seniors got placed in a non-technical field. He was a bright student, and seeing him go through this disappoints me.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: It is the best college for engineering in Himachal Pradesh. There are no companies except some software recruitment companies which hire from all the branches. Moreover, it has a very good campus and authority. I have done the mechanical engineering batch of 2018.

It is an overall good college, but placements are not good.

Placements: The placement record of this college is not very good, but you can crack the off-campus placements. The placements for ECE are good, but the placements for mechanical and civil are not very good. Students of the other branches can prepare for government exams.

Not much satisfied, but it is okay.

Placements: For civil engineering, the placements are very bad. There was no placement drive held for my batch. Only IT companies came at that time, and I don't think they offered good package. Maximum students got internships on their own.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: It is a very good college for placements and provides big opportunities for engineering students. Placements in our college are amazing. We also get many internships and the TNP cell helps a lot. There are a lot of companies coming to our college and providing many opportunities to us.
