Rajiv Gandhi government engineering college, Nagrota Bagwan review

Placements: Placement in our college is below average because companies for only electrical and electronics & communication branch come in college. And even if you score a decent CGPA, their package starts from 3 lakh per annum only. For civil branch only 1 or 2 companies come in college and that also in every 2 to 3 years.

Absolutely good college with placements opportunities.

Placements: Placements are average. Worthy students get placed. CGPA above 7.5 is required to sit in interviews. Placements percentage is above 40%. Companies like AR Electric visit here and PI infocom also. The highest package was 450000 and average package is 250000.

Good infrastructure but lacking good staff.

Placements: Above 7 CGPA all are eligible for sit-in interviews. The highest package is 4. 5 LPA. Above 7 CGPA students got internships in good companies. Four engineering courses are there civil engineering, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, and ECE.

Our college has a very good infrastructure and facilities and very nice environment.

Placements: The campus placement of our college is quite low compared to NIT Hamirpur and IIT Mandi. But our college ensures that the deserving and good students will surely get into good campus placements. The highest salary package given to a student was 10 LPA. According to infrastructure and various other facilities, this package is a great success for our college. Campus placement is done in the 7th semester. The students who are brilliant in studies and have some practical knowledge are selected very ...

This college is not the best but still, it has a way to go.

Placements: Not many students were selected. In a group of 70, only 2-3 students might get selected depending upon the skill level of the individual. The highest salary package offered is around 5 LPA - 8 LPA and the minimum salary package offered is 2 LPA - 4 LPA. I am not sure about the other things so maybe it's best to choose skills without wasting your time.

According to my opinion, college is good for pursuing your dreams.

Placements: Placement wise college is said to be average. Many companies visit but few get a chance of having placements. The minimum package here is about 3 LPA as the college is a government one due to which limited companies visit here. The placement cell working on it for better output to date.

It is a decent college, but there are more good options.

Placements: Our college is new, so the placements are not that good. But efforts are being made by the administration toward this. One of our seniors got placed in a non-technical field. He was a bright student, and seeing him go through this disappoints me.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: It is the best college for engineering in Himachal Pradesh. There are no companies except some software recruitment companies which hire from all the branches. Moreover, it has a very good campus and authority. I have done the mechanical engineering batch of 2018.

Not much satisfied, but it is okay.

Placements: For civil engineering, the placements are very bad. There was no placement drive held for my batch. Only IT companies came at that time, and I don't think they offered good package. Maximum students got internships on their own.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi Government Engineering College.

Placements: It is a very good college for placements and provides big opportunities for engineering students. Placements in our college are amazing. We also get many internships and the TNP cell helps a lot. There are a lot of companies coming to our college and providing many opportunities to us.

I am satisfied because of the faculty and good cultural programs.

Placements: As our college has multiple trades, i.e., civil engineering, electronic and communication engineering, electrical engineering and mechanical engineering, so the placements are very good. Many companies visit our college for placements. Mostly 30-40% of the students grab placement.

The college is very good. It provides opportunities for new students.

Placements: A few companies visited our institute. Our seniors got placed in those companies. Other than those, students also prepare for the GATE entrance test. Based on the GATE score, companies recruit students, but the pay scale offered is not much high. The requirements of companies were that students should have good communication and skills.

Placements: In my knowledge, 40-60% were placed in my course. The highest package is around 5 Lacs, and the average is around 2.5 Lacs. Bajaj, Panasonic, Microtex, etc., are companies. Roles offered in my course are like a structural engineer, civil engineer, geotechnical engineer.
