Candidates must have passed 10+2 with Mathematics, Physics, and Chemistry as options or related vocational courses in the fields of Engineering and Technology, or any other examination conducted by the Board of Intermediate Education, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana, with the mentioned marks in aggregate (40% in case of candidates belonging to reserved category) or equivalent along with bridge course or courses conducted by it for candidates enrolled from the academic year 2000 onwards. Candidates who have appeared for the final year of 10+2 and who are awaiting for their results are also eligible to apply on provisonal basis.

Candidates who have passed Diploma in Engineering or any other examination recognized as equivalent there to, from a recognized Institute/ University, Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana are also eligible. Candidates who have appeared in Diploma in Engineering and who are awaiting their results can also apply on provisional basis. Candidates should belong to the state of Andhra Pradesh/ Telangana. Candidate should have completed 16 years of age as of 31st December of the year of admission (2024). There is no upper age limit.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies.

Placements: Around 2% of students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 6 LPA and the lowest salary package is 2 LPA. The recruiting companies are Desapex, Infosys, TCS, Wipro, and Tech Mahindra. Around 10% of students get internships at Desapex. The roles offered are software developer and testing.

Infrastructure: Our college provided Wi-Fi to the students in classrooms and hostels. Computer lab is available on campus. They provide laptops to every student. Library is available. Our campus has beautiful scenery.

Faculty: Few teachers in our college are helpful and knowledgeable. Semester exams are somewhat difficult to pass. Exams are easy but the evaluation is tough. Faculty members are well-qualified from IITs. They share their knowledge with every student.

Other: I chose this course because of my interest.

I am absolutely satisfied with faculty members and average placements.

Placements: The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA and the lowest salary package is 3.4 LPA. The recruiting companies are Mahindra and Tata. Around 20% of students get internships. Software roles are offered in our course.

Infrastructure: Many facilities are provided in our college like a good quality hostel and food. Our college encourages students to play sports. It has a good canteen and a temple.

Faculty: Some teachers in our college are helpful and some are not good. Teaching quality is good. The course curriculum includes the most difficult subjects like Maths M1 and M3. Some lab faculty members are not good.

Other: I chose this course as I want to build my career in mechanical engineering. Our branch has 70% of students.

Review of Rajiv Gandhi University of Knowledge Technologies - RK Valley (Idupulapaya) Campus.

Placements: Being mechanical engineering students, we get fewer placements along the core side, and we are very good at getting placed in IT jobs. Around 90% of us will get placed before we leave campus.

Infrastructure: As one of the largest universities, it has excellent infrastructure, including well-maintained hostels, a good mess facility, 24*7 water and electricity, and a hospital with emergency services. It also has a huge playground.

Faculty: Good faculty members are available. A competitive curriculum makes students industry-ready. The exams are arranged so that the students can compete with each other. The pass percentage depends upon the grading system. Faculty members are very knowledgeable.

Other: We have a very pleasant nature, with mesmerising scenes during the rain and during winter. The crowd is large.

Satisfied as they introduce us to this technical world, and provide internet and laptops.

Placements: The percentage of students placed in core companies (except CSE) is less than 20%. The highest package is around 25 LPA, and the minimum package is 3.5 LPA. The average package is around 7-8 LPA in the CSE branch. In my branch (mechanical), the highest package is around 7 LPA. The lowest package is around 2.5 LPA, and the average package is around 4 LPA. Around 40% of students got internships from campus.

Infrastructure: Once upon a time, Wi-Fi was available on our campus, but now, we don't have any Wi-Fi. Labs are moderate, but lab sessions are not effective. The classrooms and library are very good. We have well-qualified faculty. The library has lots of books, and we can access daily newspapers as well. The quality of the hostel is not bad. The washrooms are pretty much clumsy. The food is also average. The hospital and medical facilities are top class. Sports and games are good with professional trainers.

Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified. They all are almost M.Tech and PhD graduates from top IITs and NITs, and they are very knowledgeable. The teaching quality is good. The course is curriculum relevant. But it doesn't make the students industry-ready. To become industry-ready, we need to have practical knowledge. Semester exams are difficult, but if we give our efforts regularly in studying, we can qualify easily. The pass percentage is above 50%.

Infrastructure is awesome .Need to recruit good teachers. Need to bring placements for all braches.

Placements: In my college there are no placements for mechanical engineering in last few years, placements occur only for ECE and CSE branches. Previously there are few companies which came for placements which are mahindra, Tata etc., but now there are no placements for mechanical engineering.

Infrastructure: In my college infrastructure is awesome, especially equipment in labs they are so good and very useful, classrooms and library are outstanding level they are at as high as they can, but Wi-Fi is so bad even there are routers they are not providing connection to them since 3 years.

Faculty: Curriculum is good and it makes the students industry ready, but few teachers are very good at subject but they are not so into the subject they just goes keep on telling, they don't care whether the students are getting it or not. Semesters are tough enough but grading system is not good and sometimes even we don't know which type of system they are using for grading. And pass percentage is about 90%.

Other: From my childhood I'm so curious to know about machines and mechanisms, it made me to select this path, mechanical engineering relates to physical world it runs the world that was the best thing. Need to improve the designing part use the modern techniques Due to COVID since 2 years there are no fests, everything was good before the COVID.
