B.E. in Electronics and Communication Engineering - Batch of 2027

The insightful review of Ramaiah Institute of Technology.
Placements: Almost 80-90% of the students get placed in our course. The highest salary package offered is 15 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA. The average salary package offered is 7 LPA. The top recruiting companies like Cisco Systems, Philips, etc., visit the college for placements. Electronics and communication is the most demanding course in the coming years so there is more probability to get more placements.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of the college is so satisfying and it gives you good vibes. There are almost all the facilities in college like Wi-Fi which is different for staff members and students, Labs are available. There are four hostels in college and there is one common mess for all those four hostels. The quality of the food served is good, but I do not like the taste of the food. There is a medical facility where you can visit Ramaiah Hospital. All the sports facilities are available, and you can join them if you are interested.
Faculty: Teachers are well-experienced and their teaching is good. They are very helpful and you can ask your doubts in off classes when teachers are free. The course curriculum is relevant and there are lab sessions to perform all the theory practically. There are lab exams also. The difficulty level of the semester-end examinations is medium. Almost 90% percent of students pass the exams.
Other: I chose the electronics and communication course because there was news that in the coming years this course engineers will be in demand. There is no improvement needed according to me because whatever theoretical concepts they teach will allow us to perform them in the lab practically. Multiple events are held at the Ramaiah Institute of Technology. It conducts fests like a Karnataka Rajyotsav fest and Udbhav in which there are games, events, concerts, etc. The campus is surrounded by a good environment. The college provides alumni scholarships for students who are struggling to pay fees.

B.E. in Civil Engineering - Batch of 2027

Overall my college is better.
Placements: I am in the civil branch. In my branch, 20% of students were placed. In my branch, the highest package is 9 LPA the minimum is 3 LPA, and the average is 4 to 5 LPA. The top recruiting company is SOBHA Construction, and I think 10% of students got internships. So, this are the information about my branch.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure of my college is good. They have given Wi-Fi coupons with the register, and you can use the internet facility. The classrooms are good, and in the classroom, the minimum capacity of students to sit is 100 students. In the library, there are more than 10,000 books in a particular branch. If we look at the hostel facility, double and triple-sharing rooms are there. You have to pay for that. The hostel fee is 100,000, and there are a total of 3 hostels. The mess food is good sometimes.
Faculty: Yes, the teachers were helpful, qualified, and knowledgeable. All teachers are Ph.D. holders, and the teaching quality is good. I want to tell you that this course curriculum is relevant. It does not make the students industry-ready. It is not difficult to pass the semester-end examination. The paper is easy, and the papers are based on previous year's papers. If you start reading before 1 week, you will easily score 8+ CGPA.
Other: I chose this course because I want to go into the field of the government sector, and also my father belongs to the same branch. In this college, events and fests are not so good, so I want the college to improve the fest enjoyment. In our college, many clubs are there. You can join any club, whether you are a fresher or senior. In this college, we have a chance to get a scholarship. You can apply for either the ALUMNI scholarship or the NTSE scholarship. If you are selected, then they will give you 20,000 rupees.

Best college for management studies.
Placements: Last year, the placements were not very good but normally placements are good in our course. Companies like Bajaj Finance, Aditya Birla group and Yes Bank recruit from our college. At least 70 percent of students get internships and placements every year.
Infrastructure: The quality of the facilities is good here. The library is very large here and all kinds of books are available every time. Mentors are also good here and they support students every time. Classrooms are large and comfortable, and labs are well-equipped. Hostels are well maintained and rooms are furnished here. Mess is hygienic and food quality is decent.
Faculty: Teaching quality is good at our college, according to me. Exams are easy here so students can easily get passing marks. Teachers are available to help anytime and they clear every doubt of students easily. Classes are very interactive in our course and we enjoy it. Overall, good teachers and mentors are there.
Other: The best thing is that placements are good in our course.

Satisfied with college and surroundings.
Placements: Good for the top branches, but for the lower branch, extraordinary effort is required. Before COVID, there were a great number of companies coming, but now not that many companies come. However, if you are skilled enough, you will have a job before your degree.
Infrastructure: The college has all the requisite facilities for the students. All the labs of all the branches and departments are well-equipped. It has a library in all four blocks, and each has a good set of books of all genres and types. There are 3 hostels: Fresher, Aryabhatta, and NRI.
Faculty: Teachers are well-qualified, and the courses are up-to-date with all the required skill-giving references. There are frequent industry visits, and the course is not that tough. Students can make time for curricular and outside knowledge gathering.

Ramaiah Institute of Technology in a Nutshell.
Placements: The placement percentage is around 70%. The highest placement was 55 Lacs this year, which was off-campus. The average placement for my branch, which is CSE (AI/ML), is 15 Lacs. The top recruiter was Oracle with a 35 Lacs package. Most of the internships applied by the students were off-campus.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure is great. The Wi-Fi speed is around 100-120 Mbps on average. The libraries are great with a lot of books and a good ambiance. The classrooms are decent, with projectors and green boards. Labs are extremely good, with high-performance computers. The hostel rooms are like hotel rooms. The mess is decent, not that great. The canteen is above average. Medical facilities are top-notch, as we have a medical campus. There are almost no sports and games facilities.
Faculty: The faculty members are highly qualified, as most of them are PhDs with 10+ years of experience. They are supportive as well. The teaching quality is great. The curriculum is up to the mark with Tier 1 colleges. Exams are not that difficult; you can easily pass them with 2 nights of study. The pass percentage is 16 credits out of 40 credits.
Other: I chose this course because I am interested in AI and future technologies. The course curriculum is fine, but I wish there were more on-campus internship opportunities. The campus is very small, but the infrastructure is nice. The crowd is decent, with a lot of talented individuals. There are scholarship opportunities for SC/ST/BPL students. There are many extracurricular activities with a good number of clubs. There are two fests: Udbhav and KR Fest.

MS Ramaiah Institute of Technology honest review about the ECE department.
Placements: I did my B.Tech in the ECE department. The placement information given on the website is completely fake. Only 20% of the class was placed. Most of the placement offers were taken by the CS/IS department. The highest is 48 LPA, but only one got placed in that, and the lowest is 1 LPA. Companies like Oracle, Texas Instruments, etc., are top companies.
Infrastructure: Facilities are quite good; the library has a large amount of study materials. Some professors are extremely good. The tutorial system is a scam, and the proctor whom I got was extremely rude and did not give a chance to take up any internships. They were never useful for us.
Faculty: Not every faculty member is very knowledgeable. The curriculum is good, but practical experience is not so good. The curriculum does include many electives for us to choose from, which is a good thing for us to take up the course of our choice. There won't be any industrial visits.
Other: Please don't believe the official website information; it is completely false.
