It is a decent college with a good environment.
Placements: As it is a non-engineering college, there are no direct placement opportunities or regular annual campusing in our college. However, our college shares various internship opportunities, conducts training programmes and offers different optional side-courses in our regular course by partnering with various institutes for the preparation of different competitive exams like CET.
Infrastructure: The college deserves a good rating for its infrastructure. There are individual microscopes offered to each student for doing practicals in the biology courses. We have digital classrooms, but unfortunately, our batch hasn't experienced any theory classes on campus due to Covid. The classrooms are big enough with proper ventilation. The library has lots of books which the students can borrow for a few months without any charge (if the books are not damaged). However, there is no playground. This is the reason why I rated it 4 stars. Our college heads don't like sports and games, which is the saddest part. The canteen is well-maintained and hygienic. A variety of food options are available. Medical facilities are not available on campus. The campus is lush green, which makes the campus peaceful and calm. Lifts are present but are not usually used by students.
Faculty: The teachers are extremely qualified in their subjects, and we learn a lot from their experiences. We have teachers like Dr. Swapan Ghosh in our department, who is a globally recognised scientist. Other teachers in our department are also very knowledgeable and really great educators as well as inspiration. The course curriculum is relevant to whosoever wants to achieve heights in this particular or related subjects. It is really insightful and vast. We have AECC subjects like English in our 1st semester, which developed our soft skills of speaking and presenting, which helped us in grooming. General elective subjects exposed us to ideas of other related fields like different branches of biology and chemistry. The exams are standard, neither too difficult nor too easy. Any student, who has studied all the topics taught in the class, can easily get through the exam with quite a good SGPA.
Other: I feel physical activities are important along with mental activities. So, the campus would have been great if a playground had been present. We are made aware of various scholarships available by the government and private bodies from the college through yearly circulars. Extracurricular activities are not conducted. Our college takes their students for really good long trips to Botanical Gardens, industries, places like Meghalaya, Shimla, etc., which are educational and also refreshing for us.

It is a great college with ample scope.
Placements: Placement cells are actively operating, but most of our seniors opt for higher education mostly. The college itself has up to PhD in certain departments to study further from here only or can opt for other universities. Many students also separately try for government jobs.
Infrastructure: Our college is well versed with infrastructure and facilities, but there is no hostel facility. Students usually stay in a mess nearby the college. Labs are well-equipped, and classrooms have digital teaching methods along with chalk and board. The library contains a huge collection of books. Canteen, medical facilities and all are available.
Faculty: Faculty members are very good, and they try different methods of teaching. The course is well and up to date. College also provides tuition for other competitive exams like IIT, JAM and other university exams after graduation completion. So, it is a mix of good teaching and good environment.
