Ranippettai Engineering College is the best college in Vellore.
Placements: Ranippettai Engineering College gives the best placement results every year. Above 90 percent of my batch students placed in good companies. Some students were also placed in foreign companies. So this college is one of the best engineering colleges in Vellore.
Infrastructure: Ranippettai Engineering College's infrastructure is very good. The full college campus is maintained every day. More departments and courses are available, so more laboratories are available for this college. The college hostel and food are very hygienic. More sports grounds are available for this college.
Faculty: Ranippettai Engineering College teachers have completed more master's degrees and Ph.D. So they are very knowledgeable and experienced people. So they are teaching very well. This college's professors conduct more practical classes, so all students easily understand the lessons and get good marks.
Other: This college gives more importance to students studies. So college management gives more scholarships to all students.

The college has good infrastructure, faculty members and modern technology.
Placements: Around 70% of students get placed on campus. The rest of the students get placed after completing their course. The highest package offered to freshers is about 10,000 per month, and the lowest package is about 7,000 per month. Some of the midrange companies conduct campus interviews in our college. Some students, about 50%, got internships in the 3rd year itself. Only associate level roles are offered by companies.
Infrastructure: The facilities in our college are good. It has the latest labs and good faculty members with higher qualifications such as M.E etc. The classrooms are very good and attractive with green boards, new benches, and Wi-Fi facility. Compared to other colleges, all the facilities are good.
Faculty: All the teachers are highly qualified with M.E degree, and their teaching quality is good. Their way of teaching is also good. Well-experienced faculty are recruited by the college. Practical labs are equipped with the latest industrial equipment, which is very helpful in learning. Semester exams are somewhat difficult. Practicals are somewhat easy to score marks.
Other: I chose the mechanical department because I like to be a mechanical engineer, and my aim is to become a great scientist. Some factors to be improved in our college are lab facilities with air-conditioners. Once a year, a cultural fest is conducted by our college. A sports meet is also conducted with inter-college competitions.

Nice facilities and good placement training are provided for all students here.
Placements: I am from B.E in mechanical engineering of 2014 passed out batch. More often, about 90% of the students get placed from our course. The lowest salary package is offered since all students are freshers. TCS, Cognizant and Accenture are the topmost companies which visited here for interviews. More than 90% of the students got internships in 3rd year of engineering. When I joined in this college, the IT department has the topmost placement rate.
Infrastructure: Classrooms are well cleaned, well maintained and tidy here. Wi-Fi facilities should be provided all over the college. The library should be modernised and should be provided with air-conditioning facilities. Moreover, the library also needs to have computerised books. Canteen facilities are good, and the food served is also better.
Faculty: All the teachers here are qualified, but most of them were B.E qualified staff members. So, atleast M.E staff members should be assigned to all classes. All lab technicians provide wonderful knowledge to all students. All courses are reasonable. My favourite course is mechanical engineering.
Other: Our batch is 2014, and I have joined mechanical engineering. The mechanical engineering department needs to have lab facilities, and modern labs should be implemented. Other Symposiums are conducted yearly.

I am absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty members and management.
Placements: None of the students from this course was placed. None of the students got placements on-campus and off-campus placements. There are no top recruiting companies for our course. Top roles are not offered in our course. None of the students got an internship from our course.
Infrastructure: Lab, classrooms and library are good, but the teachers are less and not much experienced. However, the canteen was nice, and the sports facilities are not much. The transport service is not that good compared to other colleges. Even students who pay the fee will stand in the buses while travelling instead of unpaid students. Teachers will also sit.
Faculty: Teachers here are not experienced. There are no many teachers in our civil department, and also there is no proper HOD. The course curriculum is not relevant and doesn't make students industry-ready as almost most of the boys are not graduated. During my tenure, the strength of our junior class is 27 to 15 students.
Other: I like civil engineering and have a dream to opt for construction field, etc. So, I have chosen this course. I suggest that our college should teach our course more practically more than theory classes. Based on the scholarship only, this engineering college is running, and polytechnic is much better.

My review about Ranipettai Engineering College.
Placements: In this college placement assistant is one of the major advantages. The faculty helped to clear the test, while the company test is also explained. Job far is conducted after completing 4 years. I have studied BE Mechanical engineering here and got a job in an MNC company.
Infrastructure: The college has good infrastructure and lab facilities for all department students. Especially mechanical students have good laboratory facility. We have a good ground for sport and a well-maintained canteen also. The classrooms are good and well-maintained, restrooms are also available.
Faculty: There are almost 60 members of faculty employed in our college. They are well-knowledgeable and qualified staff. Each department has a different type of staff. The teachers explain the doubts without any hesitation. In this college, the staff take care of each student.
Other: In this year symposium is conducted in February. The cultural event is conducted on March 31 during 2018.

Good Infrastructure and laboratory.
Placements: There is no campus interview in this college. Students have attended the campus interview in other colleges especially in VIT, Vellore. In the current scenario in engineering, only 20% students only get the job. The salary lies between 10 to 30 thousand rupees only. There is no internship all the students are getting the job individually as the college does not help students. The students' future is in their own hand.
Infrastructure: The college has a good infrastructure. There are 5 blocks for 5 departments with separate classrooms and laboratory. The library has more than 10000 books placed separately for each department. Sports and cultures are conducted every year. Cricket, football, volleyball and athletic games are played and there is a large area for playing games.
Faculty: Faculty members are freshers there are no have experience in teaching. Lectures are poor. They have completed the U.G course and most of them have studied in this college. They are helpful in laboratories. We went for an industrial visit near BHEL, Ranipet. Symposiums and workshops are conducted every year.
Other: The college has a good infrastructure and laboratory but there is no experience faculty members for teaching. Nowadays, there is no worth for engineers. The strength of students is less than 100 in all departments. So please select other any best institution to improve your knowledge.

Placements: Both REC and SVCE have good placement records for Biotechnology graduates. However, REC may have a slightly better placement record.
