Happy with all the facilities and placements provided by our college.

Placements: Placements in our college were quite good. Around 60% of the students got placed in the final year placements. Infosys, Tech Mahindra and IBM are the three main companies which visited the campus. The highest package offered is 7.5 lacs per annum by NRI Infotech. There is a placement cell in our college.

Review of RCC Institute of Information Technology (RCCIIT).

Placements: As the market is varied, the placement scenario is affected by the same. Placements were pretty impressive and best in 2015 when I was in the first year. However, situations have been improved this year than the previous ones. They have mostly conducted pool campus drives. However, many students got placed.

One can enjoy a decent learning experience.

Placements: With the improvement in market demands, there was a significant impact on the campus placements too. There was a noticeable increase in the percentage of placed students from the batch 2019. Students have successfully got placed in well known IT companies like TCS, Infosys, IBM, L&T Infotech, Wipro, etc. Few companies like ZS Associates and Kreeti Technologies visited the campus for on-campus drives, but very few students were fortunate to get placed in these drives. Thus, pool campus drives pla...

The college is good for average students.

Placements: Placement scenario did improve when compared with the previous years, but students mainly grabbed their job offers from pool campus drives. Students have been placed in well-known MNCs like TCS, IBM, Infosys, and L&T Infotech, etc. Even a few startup companies also visit the campus for placements. However, the number of startups that visit the campus is not much pleasing.

If you want to take admission in this college, try pursuing computer science course.

Placements: Placements of our batch (2017) were not up to the mark. From the electrical stream, only 20-25 students got placed in MNCs. So, out of 60 to 65 students, half of the students remained unplaced. The average salary package offered was the standard salary package offered by top MNCs which is 3 LPA to 3.50 LPA. The MNCs that visited the campus were TCS, Capgemini, IBM, and Tech Mahindra, and they recruited 1, 10, 3, and 7 students respectively. The roles offered were like system engineer. I have onl...

Faculty and placements are average. The infrastructure is below average. Facilities are poor.

Placements: Many placement opportunities were offered through pool drives, but the placement rate was better than the previous batch. Companies like Infosys visited the campus for placements. Apart from that, we got an opportunity to appear for placements of IBM, Tech Mahindra, and TCS. The salary packages offered were around 3-4 LPA. Mainly software engineer roles were offered. Only 10%-20% of the students were left unplaced. The college needs to work on improving the soft skills of students.

Placements were good in 2015. Almost 85-90% of the students were placed.

Placements: Nowadays, the placements in our college have been decreasing. If you have in-depth knowledge about your subject, you can get placed in any company. Mainly, IT companies visit the college to offer placements. If you are from CSE, IT or ECE department, then the probability of getting a placement is high. There are many opportunities for a student to attend a placement drive. If you are from the core branch, then you have to attempt GATE exam to get a job or study further. This is the condition of ...

RCC Institute of Information Technology has the best faculty members and exciting campus life.

Placements: The placements of the college were pretty decent with almost 80% of the students getting placed. In past years RCC placements were one of it's kind, though recently the placement scenario has changed and gone down due to the market inflammation. The students, yet do get placed. Our major recruiters include TCS, CTS, Infosys, Capgemini, Tech Mahindra, ZS Associates, IBM, Syntel, Kreeti Technologies, Ericsson Global, etc.

The college has good and talented faculty members.

Placements: Placements were good until 2015, but later, it has degraded. After taking admission in 2018, the 1st thing I came across was a strike in the college and that too for not getting placements. Reasons for not getting placements is that the companies do not come to our campus for recruitment. We are surprised to see that position because RCCIIT is a good college. But, the scenario is changing a bit. There is a lot of improvement this year, and we are hoping it to be much better in the future.

The college has worse placements, and it is still degrading.

Placements: Placement scenario in the college since the year 2016 has kept on degrading. Few years back, during my time of admission in engineering, a few MNCs visited and conducted placements in the college. In 2015, the placement percentage was near about 87% including on-campus and off-campus placements. Today, from the pass out batch of 2019, hardly 10% of the students got placed that too via pool drives and off-campuses. The internships are not offered from college. Some off-the-charts, around 2 to 3 t...

The college and its faculty are good.

Placements: Placements were good in the previous years. Many companies visit the college and recruit many students. Our seniors said that the placements are good, and around 80-90% of the students get placed. The highest placement percentage is recorded in computer science and information technology departments.

RCCIIT is a really good engineering college.

Placements: I would suggest the students join RCCIIT college to have good placements. The college has a better placement record from the last 5 years. Most of the students got placements in the final year campusing.

The college is not much good for electrical students due to placement scenario.

Placements: Placements in the college are not much good. You have to rely on IT companies for placements. No core company visits the college. Even getting placed in the IT companies is not very easy. I would say the placement scenario is not much good for the core branch in this college.

The college is semi private and is very good.

Placements: Placements in our college were good 2-3 years ago, but there is a downfall due to some reasons. Companies are not visiting the college. I guess it may get better in the coming years. Overall, mass recruitment done in the college is good. Hope for its improvement.

Good college but without placements.

Placements: As far as placements are concerned, the scenario is not well in any of the college in West Bengal. But in case of RCCIIT its the worst. Last year the placement toll went maximum upto 93 (total strength being 300+) and that too because of pool campus. The companies are not willing to come to this college and the college authorities are unable to convince any organisation to come to the campus. We are having a few pool campus and that too is just a show-off for us. The pool happens in our college ...

Really good infrastructure and faculty members.

Placements: Placements were good till 2017, but there are average placements from the previous year due to some politics inside the college. Placements are good in branches like computer science engineering, information technology and electronics and communication engineering and below average in electrical engineering.

College matters a lot, but it doesn't guarantee success.

Placements: The college has decent placement opportunities, and in ECE faculty members are also good. From the last two years, placements are going good. Last year almost from every stream, 80 to 85% got jobs and placed in different cities. Internships are also good.

The current placement scenario is not up to the mark.

Placements: The current scenario of placements is very bad, but our college is trying to provide better placements. Earlier, the placement scenario was very good, but it has been degraded now. Hardly 90 out of 400 students got placed this year. I hope the placements this year will be better than the previous two years.

The college facilities are good, but it should focus on placements.

Placements: I don't know about the placements on the campus as I am from the second year. As per our seniors, the placement for an electrical branch is less as compared to other branches. Not all the companies visited our college for placements. For electrical branches, not all the core companies visited the campus.

Placements: Placements in this college is better than most other private colleges in West Bengal though this year the placements have been average. If you are a CSE, ECE or IT student then you don't need to worry. If you have the skills along with the performance then you are safe. Average package offered is around 3 Lacs. Amazon also recruited ...
