There's always room for improvement.

Faculty: From 1st to 4th semester mechanical engineering faculty members for basic knowledge of engineering . From 5th to 8th semester marine engineering faculty members for marine based studies . Internship and workshop lab are taken by marine faculty members. All faculty members were helpful and adapted to modern teaching methods. Port visits were conducted in order to get industrial exposure.

Review of RL Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS).

Faculty: Some faculty members are good. The course curriculum is as per the rules, but it depends on students' interest how they gain knowledge and please concentrate more on marine subjects because it will help you on board as well in your examinations.

Review of RL Institute of Nautical Sciences (RLINS).

Faculty: Experienced marine and non-marine faculty members are assigned for cadets every day for their pre-sea training. Labs were also available for required subjects for practical understanding. A ship was built for the internship in the institute itself for pre-sea training.

The college is quite simple and good enough but needs a lot to improve.

Faculty: Faculty members in our college are quite good. They are helpful, but this type of professional course should contain a staff of marine. They need to concentrate on that for betterment further, and there are some qualified lab technicians to help cadets, but they have to focus some more.

I am just suffering here. As per the fee paid, our college did not meet expectations.

Faculty: Faculty members here are very poor. Only a few are good, but the rest only waste their time and our time. They fail to share their knowledge and fail to provide smart studies. Students need to study on their own from the internet, etc. They do not provide books also until and unless students demand a lot. They don't take any responsibility.

Satisfied about the way of teaching and food.

Faculty: Some of the faculty are bad. They can't even teach properly or clear our doubts. Some of them are good. The marine teaching lecturer will give their best to teach everything but you have to cope up with their level of teaching. And in an internship, if you want to learn something they will teach you the opening and closing of machinery they will be not clearly teaching what is the use of that part in machinery.

Overall, it is the worst college in India.

Faculty: PhD holders and marine-related professors are available here. Some faculty are from Tamil Nadu, and they do not know Hindi to teach North Indian students. The course fee is high compared to other engineering colleges. Our principal is not highly qualified in the marine related field.
