Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology (RSET) has a strict dress code and timing restrictions for outside movements of girl students. The college provides multiple sports facilities and additional expenses include books, placement and training charges, and eating out despite mess fees. Attendance policies are strictly enforced, and there are consequences for rule violations. The college culture is mostly English-speaking, and there is no language challenge. Support staff is not restricted to native language, and the student population is diverse with most students coming from the home state. Life at Rajagiri providing excellence and discipline in Education.
Placements: The placements usually start mainly from the 7th semester. From what I know only around 40% of the students actually get placed usually from IBM, Wipro, and Cognizant for students in the IT and CS field. I had also heard of students rejecting offers due to low starting packages. Many also plan on going for higher studies.
Infrastructure: The college campus is amazing, with a gym, a basketball court, a farm, and 3 blocks for lectures. It's a huge campus with 2 cafes and 1 big canteen. The hostel though I must say is pretty bad for a private college, especially for the first-year girl students. The hostel fee is usually around Rs90k per annum. The food used to be terrible back when I was in my first year. But after the first year, they shift you to the way better campus hostel. They need to build a hostel facility for first-year female students since they have to travel 20 minds to and fro just for college and they have to pay extra for the bus facilities as well.
Faculty: The faculty in our department is average. Not everyone is nice. Some don't grade us well while there are other professors who do set the questions papers very lenient and are very friendly to us. The subjects are pretty average but interesting. The difficulty may vary but as of now, it isn't that difficult. The curriculum I feel needs more practical knowledge, especially in robotics and machine learning.
Other: I chose this course due to my interest in Robotics and machine learning. And I did find it interesting as the years passed by. I wish there were more resources and practical knowledge they could have provided for my course other than normal programming since AI &this is a pretty wide field where other practical knowledge can be incorporated as well.

Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology Review.
Placements: RSET is mainly known for their placements in Kerala. Most students opt for RSET because of this very reputation. The college tries their best to get you placed if we don't have any supplementary papers at the time of placements. The companies that come for recruitment include TCS, Cognizant, etc.
Infrastructure: The facilities present on the campus in the hostel are really good. All departments have multiple labs for themselves. The libraries are well equipped to help the students and some departments have libraries of their own apart from the common one. The quality of the food in the mess is relatively better compared to other hostels and they regularly consult the student hostelers if there are changes to be made.
Faculty: Most teachers are helpful and would happily help us. The teachers are really qualified and some of the teachers rank among the top 3% of the world's scientists and have several Ph.D. The initial semesters are hard and it will be a grind and then it progressively gets easier.

Review of Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology.
Placements: They have pretty good placements. Companies like IBM, HCL, Infosys and Wipro come here. Faculty members help a lot in bringing good offers to the students. They have a placement cell, which helps with this too. A lot of students get placed as long as they have no arrears .
Infrastructure: It has one of the best infrastructure compared to any other colleges in Kochi. Classrooms are spacious, neat and clean. The hostel facility is not up to standard. They have labs with ACs, and it's pretty comfortable in there. They have a huge basketball court and a parking area as well .
Faculty: Teachers are very helpful in all aspects. They provide us with the necessary materials and notes. Their teaching is really good and understandable. Semester exams are of moderate difficulty and pass percentages are 40 percent for the semester exam and 50 percent for internals .

    College is good in infrastructure.
Placements: About 40 percent of students were placed every year. The lowest package offered was about 5 lacs per annum initially; the highest is 7 lacs per annum; and the average package a civil engineer earns was about 6 lacs per annum. Top recruiters are L&T, KMR, Ultratech, etc. About 90 percent of students got internship opportunities. Structural engineers are the top roles offered.
Infrastructure: Availability of civil labs like survey labs, material testing labs, geotechnical labs, fluid mechanics labs, etc. are there. The classroom has a projector for visual understanding. The library provides every book needed for engineering and other articles. Hostel facilities are of top class, providing good food and accommodation.
Faculty: The teachers were highly educated and taught very well; they helped when students had difficulties in topics. The teaching quality was pretty good. The semester exams are a bit tough but can be easily studied if we want to study; the pass percentage was about 95 percent.
Other: My relatives and friends suggested I take a civil engineering course because it has opportunities everywhere and also because it is easier compared to other engineering courses. The events and programs are limited in our college; our college is mostly given importance in academics.

Good infrastructure and facilities but bad management.
Placements: The placements start in semester 6. Based on available information, about 30 to 40% of students get placed every year from the mechanical department. The main companies that visit for mechanical engineering opportunities are Toyota and Royal Enfield.
Infrastructure: The infrastructure and facilities provided by the college for learning are really good. All the labs and other teaching facilities are well-maintained. However, the quality of the canteen and its food has declined this year, with food prices continuously increasing.
Faculty: The faculty in the mechanical department are very good at teaching but can be very rude to students. Faculty in other departments are generally very good. The curriculum set by Rajagiri is well-structured and easy to learn, but the exam question papers during the end-of-semester exams are significantly more difficult compared to the university papers.
Other: The main reason I chose mechanical is because I like machines and similar things, but I realized mechanical engineering is way more than that, so don’t choose engineering just because you want a degree. Choose it only if you’re ready to dedicate your time and effort to the course. Also, Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology is not the kind of college that goes easy on you.

Really good infrastructure yet very strict management.
Placements: I'm currently a student at Rajagiri School of Engineering and Technology pursuing Electrical and Electronics Engineering. The college is situated in Kakkanad. They provide very decent infrastructure. CS and IT courses are said to have very good placements. The hostel facilities are also top-notch. But they maintain strict rules for the students inside the hostel and campus.
Infrastructure: Facilities provided in the college are top-notch. They have a very good library system in the main block. There are mainly 3 blocks: the PG block, the main building, and the KE block. The canteen is mid, not gonna lie. There is a newly started ice cream stall too. The hostel is one of the best, but the rules there are too strict for the students.
Faculty: All the faculty are highly qualified but they are too strict and don't provide a college environment to the students. Most of the teachers provide a good quality of teaching. The course curriculum is well-planned and relevant. Semester exams are easy if you prepare well.
