Review of S.N. Bose National Centre for Basic Science.
Placements: The college provides superb placements for PhD holders. I did double PhD in this college. Now, I am a lecturer in a technical college. In our batch, almost 97% of the students are now doing their job. Many private companies visited the campus for placements of PhD in chemistry. But, I wanted a government job.
Infrastructure: This college has the best labs and classrooms. All types of books are available in the library. Canteen is huge and serves fresh food all the time. Though I did not live in a hostel, I know that the hostel is average. Medical facilities are also available. The college has all instruments and huge ground for sports.
Faculty: Teachers in the college are highly knowledgeable and kind-hearted. We can ask them our doubts many times until we understand. They teach us very well. The students are also very talented. I did lab work from 10 am to 9 pm. So, this place is only to study, experiment etc.
Other: Scholarships provided by the college are very helpful.
