A:
{Source: B.E. / B.Tech students & alumni}

Is B.E./B.Tech at S.R. International Institute of Technology Worth the Investment?

After analyzing the reviews and feedback from current students and alumni, here's what emerges:

* Placement Records: While the institute claims a high placement record, some students point out that the placement process is focused on preparing students for international studies rather than domestic placements. However, notable companies like Amazon, Oracle, and Microsoft visit the campus for recruitments.
* Facilities and Infrastructure: The campus is relatively small, with modern digital classrooms, well-equipped labs, and a central library. However, some students mention that the hostel facilities are average and the food quality is mediocre.
* Teaching and Faculty: Teachers are described as helpful, knowledgeable, and well-qualified. Some students appreciate the small class sizes, which allow for individual attention. However, others find the teaching methods unproductive.
* Curriculum and Syllabus: The curriculum is said to be advanced and challenging, with a mix of theoretical and practical learning. Some students appreciate the credit transfer programme with US universities, which allows for global exposure.
* International Opportunities: One of the main attractions of SRIIT is its partnership with US universities, offering students the chance to study in the US for a year. This opportunity is highly valued by many students.
* Cost and Value: Tuition fees are considered reasonable, with additional charges for miscellaneous expenses. However, some students point out that the total cost may be higher than expected.

Considering these factors, whether B.E./B.Tech at S.R. International Institute of Technology is worth the investment ultimately depends on individual priorities and goals. If you're looking for international exposure, a challenging curriculum, and a strong network, SRIIT may be a good choice. However, if you prioritize local placements, state-of-the-art infrastructure, or a more relaxed campus atmosphere, you may want to consider other options. Ultimately, it's essential to weigh the pros and cons carefully before making a decision.

Here's a summary of key points in bullet form:

* Placement records vary depending on company preferences and student performance
* Facilities and infrastructure are generally modern and well-maintained, but hostel facilities require improvement
* Teaching and faculty are well-regarded, although some students find the methods less effective
* Curriculum and syllabus are advanced and challenging, with opportunities for global exposure
* Cost and value are reasonably priced, but additional expenses add up
* International opportunities are a major draw for students seeking global experience

Review about S.R. International Institute of Technology
Placements: The student population should ideally comprise approximately 75% or more, with the highest salary package being 33 Lacs. The average package, on the other hand, ranges between 5-6 Lacs. Prominent companies such as Oracle, Amazon, Microsoft, etc., are among the top recruiters. Due to the integrated courses offered on our campus, internships are not available. Consequently, a significant number of students opt to pursue opportunities in the United States.
Infrastructure: The teachers at our college are highly engaged with the students due to the small class sizes. This enables the teachers to provide individualized assistance to each student. Additionally, our exams are quite challenging, resulting in a failure rate of 30-40% every year. Moreover, we have limited time to prepare for these exams as they are held every four months as part of our semester system.

SRIIT- a chance to fly to US .
Placements: In our college 95% of students got placed last year and the highest package is around INR 35 lpa and the lowest is around INR 5 lpa. The top recruiting companies are amazon, ibm, deloitte and so on. 90% of students got internship from our courses in TCS. The roles offered in our college are mainly for CSE.
Infrastructure: We have the best infrastructure and better facilities in our course. We have well designed classrooms. We have a central library which offers you all the books which you need. WIFI is available around the campus area. We have the best equipments in the labs. We have normal facilities in our hostel with average food.
Faculty: The faculty is very friendly with us. They are well designated with PhDs. The teaching is extraordinary. For some students this course might not get them industry ready. But for those who study well and utilize the time, it helps them alot. It seems to be normal paper but the evaluation makes the paper tough to score.
Other: I chose this course because I was interested in pursuing a career in programming and software. We have monthly events in our college .

The academic life of the campus is good. All the facilities and faculty are good.

It is an excellent college if your goal is to study abroad.
Placements: Every student who went to the United States will get a job. Those who return to India for their fourth year must look for one. The programs will provide the students with an opportunity to graduate from US universities ranked among the top 150 universities in the world and to secure a globally recognised bachelor's engineering degree.
Infrastructure: The campus is small, but everything is good. We have plenty of places to play games, including classrooms, labs, and the library. The hostel is not available at the college, so all hostelers live in the private hostel. They are provided with transportation by the college. The food is average. The canteen food is expensive.
Faculty: Our teachers are good. The semester exams depend on who prepares the exam paper. The semester exams are difficult. It is affiliated with Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University, Hyderabad, which has an environment of academic excellence with an A grade.
Other: Our college hosts fewer festivals as management focuses on sending students to the United States for further education. Our college organises events like freshers' parties, sports, etc.

It is the best college in terms of education and fee structure.
Placements: There were 60 seats for CSE, 30 for ECE, and 30 for IT. I was involved in the credit transfer program, where I studied for 2 years at SRIIT and the remaining 2 years at a top US university. A few students got placed at Qualcomm. The average salary package offered was 1.50 LPA. Few students who continued their education at SRIIT attended the recruitment. The top recruiting companies are Infosys, IBM, Wipro, Genpact, TCS, Capgemini, Cognizant, Accenture, Deloitte, etc. Based on skills, students were placed in different positions. A few students were well-settled in their lives. They also joined as interns, and they were settled with decent salary packages for the best positions.
Infrastructure: Our college was located in Hyderabad. Our campus was small. It has 12 acres of land. Classrooms were clean. The laboratory was well-equipped. The library was small, but several books were available. Hostel rooms were good. The food served in the mess was average. Each room accommodates four students. The hostel fee was affordable.
Faculty: Teachers were the best. They were well versed in their subjects, and they were also helpful. They share notes and make us understand things practically rather than verbally. The course curriculum was advanced compared to other JNTU colleges. Semester exams were conducted according to the US timetable. As the syllabus was advanced, exams were not difficult.
Other: My percentage in the intermediate was 98.8%. In EMCET, my rank was 3000, and in SAT, I scored 1450 out of 1600. Based on my EMCET rank, I got seats in 10 of the top colleges in Telangana. I tried to go to US for BS degree rather than getting a B.Tech degree. Due to some financial discomfort, I could not go because getting a BS degree from a US university was costly. It was nearly 2.5 crores per year. When I learned about the BS degree program at SRIIT and that this college was affiliated with my dream university, I decided to join here.
