Review of Samundra Institute of Maritime Studies.

Faculty: The best infrastructure was provided for our course. It was a clean and eco-friendly campus located in the heart of Lonavla, which is a beautiful hill station. The campus was powered by solar panels. The quality of the food served was good. Hygiene was maintained all the time. We had a fixed menu for the week. Daily, they served tea, breakfast, lime juice, lunch, coffee snacks, and dinner.

It has good infrastructure, good faculty members, and hostel services.

Faculty: The studies are a little difficult, but teachers are very good. They are very knowledgeable, and the seamanship instructors are very good at what they do. They prepare you for the semester exams in a very good way by taking mock and pre-final examinations. If students are not performing well, they are given special attention.

Review of Graduate Marine engineering from the Samunder Institute of Maritime Studies.

Faculty: The faculty at this college for the GME course were really well qualified and knowledgeable. Teachers were of a supportive nature and helped all the students with their doubts. The course curriculum for our course was relevant and made students naval industry-ready. Exams were also of a medium-difficulty level.

I am satisfied with the college.

Faculty: Faculty members are the best in this field with years of experience and are very kind personalities. All of them treat all the cadets equally without any discrimination. They solve all the cadets' problems personally, and hence no cadet feels left out.

Our college provides quality education.

Faculty: We had qualified marine and non-marine faculty members in our college. SIC experienced instructors were generally from the ex Indian navy. There were qualified workshop instructors. All the staff members were very helpful and knowledgeable with good quality of teaching. Even the wardens were qualified and supportive.

It is the best maritime training institute in India.

Faculty: I have met some of the best teachers in my life at our college. Faculty members are experienced, and most of them are from the navy background. The management is also very well managed, and the blended learning programme provides hands-on training to each and every cadet.

Really good infrastructure and faculty that helps bring up future mariners.

Faculty: The teachers are fully qualified, these are not people who teach from textbooks, they are people who has the specific practical knowledge. Eg:- internal combustion engine is taught by a faculty who has worked with a 20 ft IC engine for almpst half of his life. No textbooks in this world can beat that kind of knowledge. So faculty here is world class.

SIMS has a really good infrastructure.

Faculty: There will be experienced captains, and chief engineers served in sea-going vessels for a long time, and the academics will be under their control. There will be other technical faculty members also for engineering and officer cadets. You will get a good exposure to the industry you are going to work for.

If you want to be an officer or a mari e engineer opt for Sims Lonavla. Very best in India.

Faculty: Samundra institute of maritime studies or SIMS has a great team of faculty members who keeps a direct contact with Maritime sector. A great team of Captains and marine engineers. A team of Ex Navy sailors both from deck and engine. Some good ETOs as well. So education is never a problem for SIMS cadets.

You are eligible to join the B.Sc. Nautical Science course in SIMS (Shipping and Marine Studies) only if you meet the academic and physical requirements. Most of the universities or institutes that provide this course require at least 60% in PCM in board exams.
