B.Tech. in Electrical Engineering - Batch of 2016

An average rated college. I will not recommended it for new admission.
Placements: Only a few companies visited, and most of them don't have any valid official website to check more information about it. After graduation, they have written in their prospectus that 98% have been placed in the 2016 batch. We still wonder how they counted the placement percentage. For new admissions, they can do anything.
Infrastructure: We couldn't browse Wi-Fi in the whole 4 years of course. The library has quite a good collection of books, but still, you can't roam around and choose any book. You have to opt for the official process for simply reading a book. We have a big playground for sports activity near the main campus. The computer labs are okay. The classrooms are now upgraded to smart classrooms. The canteen food is average with an average rate.
Faculty: Some faculty members are very supportive and helpful. You can feel their knowledge level when they teach you about some topic. Some faculty members get irritated quickly. The student to faculty ratio is average. The course is covered fully.
Other: Nearly all the events are organised there. The college fest happens every year and is mainly organised by the final year students. Extracurricular activities are also organised by the college.

SETGOI is an institute of engineering and industrial technology.
Placements: The placements are well processed, but according to the Indian market, we cannot always blame the colleges. I, with my 4 colleagues, got placed in Amazon India from the college campus. I am thankful for this opportunity. For the details of recent placement, you can visit the college website.
Infrastructure: It has a good infrastructure with a good campus. All facilities that are needed for personal development are there. As well you can get digital classrooms, sports facilities, a hospital and as well a medical college. Food might be an issue, as always with the colleges.
Faculty: The faculty are good. I do not know the present status because people came and left. I got some best guidance from my faculty. Regular tests and projects will keep you groomed. B.Tech, B.Arch, medical, and diploma are the courses offered in different streams. Overall, it is a good growing college.

Expected much better than what actually experienced.
Placements: Placements were quite good for software departments but for core departments, the placements could have been better. It was like that for the senior batch also.
Almost 60% students got placed. The highest salary offered was 3.5 lakhs per annum.
Students got roles like software engineer, Java developer etc.
Infrastructure: Infrastructure wise, this college is good. Classrooms, labs and library were absolutely alright but one disadvantage is that this college is outside of the town and bus is not available.
Also, outside the college, not many facilities are available. Food available in the canteen was quite good and many varieties of food are available.
As I have never been in the hostel, so I don't have any idea. I never faced any infrastructure related issues.
Faculty: Teachers in the college were quite good, they helped us to groom ourselves. They were knowledgeable. We had theory classes as well as practical classes in labs which helped us to know about many things and improve.
The student to faculty ratio was 15:1. Students got industry experience during industrial visits and workshops.
