SPIT has a world of it's own.

Placements: A lot of software companies come for placements at SPIT, but there are very few electronics companies coming around. The software companies are open for electronics students too, so there isn't a shortage of opportunities for them either. Reputed companies visit this college, with an average CTC of 6 LPA for ETRX students.

College stands second in Mumbai after VJTI. Placements are good but teaching faculty are below average. Teachers are not supportive and helpful in terms of marks, attendance, project, assignments, etc. So basically life at SPIT is not good. If u have to take placements then this college is not good for higher education.
