The infrastructure and placements are good, but the quality of teaching is not up to the mark.

Placements: Placements in our college for core electronics is very much low. About 25% of students get placed in core companies. Whereas, almost 55% of students are placed with software profile based companies. Rest, often pursue higher education. Moreover, some students were not eligible for placements.

Our campus and the extracurricular activities organised here are good.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students get placed, but the salary packages depend on your branch. The average salary package offered by the core and marketing companies is 4 to 4.5 LPA. The minimum package offered is 2.5 to 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was 40 LPA.

Check on the faculty members must be maintained as they provide guidance.

Placements: Placements were good for the branch. Opportunities could have been better given that it is an NIT. But, the packages offered are good compared to other NITs. The average placement goes up to around 6.5 LPA. Companies like Google also visit the campus. The highest salary package goes up to 15 lacs per annum.

Review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Only a few established core electronics companies visit the campus for placements. Most of the placements are provided in the IT sector. Almost everyone gets placed due to mass recruiters. The average salary offered is around 5-6 LPA. A lot of startups in the field of IoT, image processing, and embedded systems visit the campus for placements.

Completely dissatisfied because of faculty.

Placements: Placements in our department are pretty decent. Many students who are pursuing the electronics and communication engineering course in our college are mostly the people who are interested in coding, so they are being placed in the IT companies rather than being placed in the core companies.

A good place of know yourself if you are dedicated to your life. Placements are good.

Placements: According to placement statistics, more than 500 students from our super senior batch got placed, and the placement scenario is the same for our seniors too. Our batch got a fair number of internships. Even the internships have increased this year. The only criterion for students to get internships they have to score more than 7.5 CGPA without any active backlogs. A good number of esteemed MNCs and startups have been visiting the campus for placement drives, and students are also offered a lot o...

The college has a wonderful library, but practical knowledge is not provided.

Placements: Many students got placed from the EC branch last year. Though only a few core companies visited the campus, most of the students from the EC department got placed. They offered high packages. In our third year, less number of companies visited the campus for internships, and therefore, a few students got placed. The placement cell is good and helpful for the students to clear their queries. Placements for other departments are not much good compared to ECE and CSE departments. Companies visiting...

If your aim is getting a degree from NIT, then it's a good college.

Placements: Campus placements of SVNIT are good. In the M.Tech, most of the companies offer internships followed by the performance-based placements. The salary package offered is average. Core companies do not visit the campus for placements of communication branch. However, for other branches like VLSI, placements are up to the mark. In the case of the communication branch, Marwell Pvt Ltd is the only company to visit the campus most of the time.

Placements: The college provides a maximum number of placements in every stream. It happens when teamwork is very good. So here you can find a good coordinator and also good placements. Any information regarding placements is provided by the TNP (training and placement) section as well as our seniors. Our stream is mechanical, almost 170 students are eligible for placements, and among them, almost 158 students are placed. The salary package offered is around 7-8 LPA. The college has good infrastructure and student-friendly campus.

Placements: Placements for ECE students are good. They mainly get placed in IT companies. Not more than 6-7 core companies visit the campus for ECE. CSE has the best placements. There is a placement cell which handles all the recruitment process and activities. A few government companies like HPCL also visit the campus for placements. Review of NIT Surat (SVNIT).

Placements: Overall, placements in the college were average during my tenure. Computers and chemical engineering students had the best placements. Electrical and mechanical branches have average placements. Very few students got internship opportunities from campus. However, most of us got final placements with good job roles.

Placements: Placements in our college are pretty good for the mechanical department. Last year, around 120 students were placed out of 180 eligible students. The average package offered is around 5-6 LPA. Highly reputed MNCs visit the campus for placements. The computer science department is the best for placements as its placement rate is high, and the average package offered to them is 8-9 LPA.

Placements: Every year, many companies visit our college for placements. This year, out of 80 students in our class, nearly 50 students got placed in various core and non-core companies. Major core companies like Reliance, Godrej, Saint Gobain, Tata group, etc., have visited our campus. Students inclined towards the non-core field get opportunities to attend the drives of companies like Axxela, Affine analyst, ZS Associates, etc.

Placements: The placements in our college are good, and only ten students were let unplaced by January. The average salary package offered is around 5 to 6 LPA. The starting package for an electrical student is good. The lowest salary package offered is 4 LPA, and the companies also provide accommodation facilities. Even the job locations are good. A review of Sardar Vallabhbhai National Institute of Technology.

Placements: Placements depend on the branch and students' potential and rankings. For computer engineering, the average salary package offered is 10 LPA, and it is around 6 LPA for other branches. Almost 80% of the students get placed. If the institute rankings are high, then companies don't hesitate much, but when it goes down, then the candidates need to prove themselves. Although the college rankings were high last year, companies don't consider that for the present year.

Placements: Chemical engineering at SVNIT is really good. There are lots of chemical-related factories and industries in Gujarat, and it is a perfect place for any chemical engineer. Presence of good companies and exposure to the industry is a boon. The college provides good opportunities for students to work in specific areas related to their field.
