Good infrastructure, location and somewhat placements as well.

Placements: Except for civil all the other departments had good placement. The average package was around 5 lacs except for computer Science which would be around 7 lacs. The highest package was offered 16lacs by Snapdeal. Companies like Microsoft, BPCL, Reliance, BAS visited and mass recruitment by Infosys and Tech Mahindra. Few students couldn't be placed in each department but it was due to either their low CGPA or some made to the interviews but couldn't clear it.

Overall, the college is good for intelligent students.

Placements: Almost 95% of the eligible students got placed in different companies. The average salary package offered was around 6 LPA, and the highest salary package offered in 2018 is 29.50 LPA. The college is very good in placements, and they are good for computer science students, but the civil branch has very less number of placements. Overall, the placements on the campus are very good.

The companies which visit the college are also increasing every year. The highest package offered for computer science engineering student is 27 LPA.

The college rank according to nirf 2016 was 15.

Placements: Since, this college is considered as one of the top NIT for mechanical engineering. Here the placement, especially for mechanical engineering is very good. Nearly all the eligible students are placed. Companies like tata, hpcl, bhel, drdo etc. Visits the campus. Since the has a good reputation, students also get off campus placements easily.

Really good cultural events, good faculty members, and facilities too.

Placements: Placements here, in electronics are pretty bad, that's because of lazy department, mostly students prefer off campus placements and non-core IT jobs, but you do get a lot of exposure here in the IT field. Approximately 90% of the students were placed this year (2017). Companies visiting the campus for placements are decent. With an average package of 5Lpa EC students do okayish overall but the students putting in extra efforts do get a decent package over 10Lpa.

Rise in placements in 2017-18.

Placements: Talking about placements, Computer Science comes first. The average package is also very good. Next comes Mechanical. The placements for other branches ECE, EE, civil and chemical are not upto the expectations. In 2016-17, the placements, for branches excluding C. Sc, had gone down. But it is getting better slowly in 2018. However the average package is less in these branches. Looking into internship, in 2017-18 C. Sc, ECE, Mechanical, Chemical students have got very good internship in reputed c...

One of the top NITs in India.

Placements: The Placements have been really good over the years. As is the case in all colleges the average of CSE students were twice than others. EC department usually sees the lowest number of core companies coming for recruitment. The mechanical and computer engineering branch here has the maximum no. Of core companies visiting and offering roles. The lowest salary during our batch was 3 LPA whereas the highest exceeded 25 LPA. A lot of new companies also visited our college that year.

Absolutely satisfied because of the atmosphere and the placement which happens in the campus.

Placements: Placements are good in the campus. 80-85% students are placed. In computer department the placements are very good. The highest package is 29.5lpa and average package is 8.5lpa. The placement committee is also very good. In computer Science most of the students are getting internal and get ppo offer which is pre placement offer. I think the placement in NIT Surat is upto mark.

Placements: In my college, the package for civil branch students is great. The minimum package offered is 3.5 lacs, and the average is 8 lacs. This time, 18.5 lacs is the highest package of all the year. I too see forward to get some good package, and it would be possible if I make a great effort.
