Have an overlook on SVNIT.

Placements: Talking about the placements, Computer Science takes the first place. Many of the students are getting placed through PPOs in the companies where they were selected for internships. The companies, which come to recruit the students, are also more for this branch. Next comes Electronics, Mechanical, Electrical. In 2017-18, placements have been increased considerably in Electrical branch. Nearly 70% of the students have been placed in Electrical. The placements for Chemical and Civil are not upto ...

Satisfied with the study, placement record, faculty and almost everything.

Placements: The best placements are offered in CS. The highest offer that was offered in CS last year was 27 Lacs by Amazon to 5 students. The percentage of students placed in the branch was around 90% with an average package of around 8 Lacs. After CS. EC has got a good placement record. Almost 80% students were placed with an average of 6.5 Lacs and the highest of 12 Lacs. After EC, mechanical and chemical also have a good track record with 70% placement and average of 4.9 Lacs. The point to be noted is t...

Dissatisfied with faculty and curriculum. But the infrastructure is good and placements are average.

Placements: The placements for the students of engineering are good, but the placements for the students of science department are poor. Students who are enrolled in our course would mostly prefer for research rather than going for jobs. But our seniors from applied mathematics department were placed in good sectors.

The faculty are not good. College life is average.

Placements: 30 percentage of the students per batch gets on campus placements, and the rest of the students are placed through off-campus placement drives. Some students want to pursue higher studies. The students can expect 6 LPA if they work sincerely. The students can manage to get IAS interns, and if they work hard, they may get an international internship.

Good place to have your Graduation.

Placements: Placements are good enough in all the branches. But comparatively they are better for our seniors and juniors. 25 LPA was the highest offered by DE Shaw and 3.25 was the least by Infosys. Many companies visited related to many fields likes Software Developer, Backed Developer, Analytics and many roles related to core branches. Nearly 20 percent of students got internship from college. There was placement cell. But they were not efficient enough in our batch. Comparatively Mechanical, Computer Sc...

Surely you will live the best memories of your life.

Placements: The placements in the college are pretty good. Around 72% of the students got placed in the year 2017. Multinational companies like Amazon, Siemens, Reliance, Honda, L&T, JP Morgan, Tata, etc. come to recruit the students. The highest salary offered is 30 LPA by Amazon. Many of the students get internships from the college, which is beneficial during their placements. I am not sure whether they are paid internships or not. The college has its own placement cell which helps you to get internships...

A dream location for the engineers who want to enjoy and study at the same time.

Placements: The placements were good for mechanical, electrical and computer science branches. In these branches, on an average, you can get around 5 lpa. Electronics placements were good if you compare it to other colleges, but for other branches of the college, it was not up to that level. One special thing is the chemical placement which you can't anticipate sometimes, it's to the best, and sometimes, it a mediocre.

A great college with great memories. It depends on you how you make it great.

Placements: The placement chances are very high as companies are always interested in IITs and NITs, but still, there is about 70% placement in our batch and minimum 50% almost every time. At last, it depends on how much you are trying to get a job and how much you want it.

Good placements in 2018. Computer science department is the most sought after.

Placements: I'm pursuing B.Tech in mechanical engineering. Various companies come in from the beginning of the 3rd year for internship recruitment. Core companies like Maruti Suzuki, VECV show up. In the senior batch, the majority of the students with a 7-pointer have got campus placements.

An average college with the good infrastructure and the great connectivity.

Placements: Many reputed companies have refused to come back to the college for the placements as they feel that the students don't have the core knowledge of their stream. The average salary offered to a student is between 4-7 LPA. Around, 75-80% of the students got placed, who are eligible for the placements. There are two rounds, and one needs to pass to be able to sit for the interview. The first round is the aptitude test and the second round is the group discussion. Merely satisfied with the college, fine with faculty, and disappointed because of placements.

Placements: There are only a few placement opportunities for civil engineering students of SVNIT. Not more than 50% of the students got placed. There is a T&P cell, which looks after the training part for students of all the departments. The students are informed about the companies, respective exams, and interviews, by the training and placement cell.

Satisfied with the infrastructure and the facilities. Most of the faculty members are good too.

Placements: The placements have been great this year. Even better than the previous year. The highest package offered was 17 LPA by BPCL, and the lowest was 3.5 LPA offered by Navin Fluorine International. The average salary was 5-6 LPA. Only seven people got an internship. The highest stipend was from Cairn which is Rs. 50,000, and an average stipend was Rs. 20,000.

Good internship opportunities.

Placements: In IIT, there is separate placement week, but in NIT-Surat companies come according to their requirement and free time. Compared to the senior batch, we have more placements due to more number of mass recruiting companies visiting here. Also, this time we have witnessed PSU's visiting here like BPCL, HPCL and IRCON. The highest salary offered was around Rs. 14 LPA. The lowest salary offered is around Rs. 2.5 lakhs of CTC, whereas the average salary goes around Rs. 5 lakhs of CTC approximately. A...

A good college area, but classes make me sad.

Placements: In the electronics department, the placement level is the worst in this institute. For other branches, those are good, but here, you will lack the amount you get as per your talent and if you wish to get good placement in EC, then prefer to go for offline placement or sit in CS placement if you know programming skills.

Bachelor's degree from here is better than the master's degree (in civil engineering).

Placements: No company comes to recruit urban planning M.Tech students. Some companies take transportation engineering and water resources engineering students. Structural engineering and geotechnical engineering also don't have much placement. Urban planning has the worst placement. You can only sit for assistant professor post.

The best college in Gujarat. The faculty-wise and placement-wise, there is a lot to achieve.

Placements: The placements are better in this year compared to earlier. PSUs also recruited some students. Most of the students like 50% were placed in the placements. The L&T, BPCL, HPCL, and IRCON are the major recruiters in this college. L&T also offers the internships. The average stipend is Rs. 4,000 per month. The average package offered was around Rs. 4 lacs per annum. The maximum was around Rs. 16.65 lacs per annum. There is a training and placement cell in the college.

SVNIT-the life of culture.

Placements: Placements of college are very good in the computer field. Average package offered by the company is 7 LPA to 8 LPA. This year Amazon, Deshaw, JP Morgan also visited the campus. I think 30 companies came for placements. And most of the students are getting placed. So many companies also came to offer the internship.

The review of NIT Surat - electrical engineering.

Placements: Our batch saw a dip in the placements stats because of elections, but the previous year and next year trends were noteworthy. No PSUs came for recruitment which was a big hit to our placement process, also the IT recruiter preferred other streams. All are placed in the core jobs with good profiles and CTC.

Satisfactory results from the 4th years. Good exposure to extracurricular activities and clubs.

Placements: The placements were really good for the computer engineering department. The line up of companies was decent. The core companies for mechanical and electrical were also there at the campus, but the placement for ECE, civil, and chemical were not that good, and most of them got placed either in IT or management positions.

Join if you are looking to do research and work hard, then this is a nice institute.

Placements: Here, doing M.Sc is a good experience. If you want to pursue your career as the professor, the placements are less but fabulous for M.Sc physics. In 2017, the computer science branch students have the placements, but as I said the placements are less that is only 1 or 2 students got placed that to only in the physics and chemistry. The average package was 4 LPA. One physics student got placed from the off-campus and the package received is more than 27 LPA, so be wise with your choice.
