I am fully satisfied with college.

Placements: Placement are good for mechanical branch. Most of the students ( approximately 80%) got campus placement in mechanical branch. Percentage is higher in computer branch but lower in the other branches. Both core and non core company visits the campus and hire students.

An honest review considering current and past condition of college.

Placements: Placements for computer Science branch is extraordinary. Placements for mechanical, chemical, electrical, civil and electronics are average. But nowadays many new companies are coming for recruitment. Over the years svnit network is getting stronger. Not only core companies but non core companies are also visiting campus these days in large numbers. Hope it will be useful.

The best college to study at national level.

Placements: The placements in the mechanical engineering department are quite high. Almost 80% to 90% of the students got placement. The companies are good. Some of the PSUs also came for placements. The average package offered to the students of the mechanical engineering department is up to 6 LPA to 7 LPA. Also, other branches went to very high packages. In computer engineering department, the highest package was 27 lacs per annum, and the companies are also very good which come for recruitment.

If your JEE rank is in the range of this college, you should choose Surat. You'll definitely enjoy.

Placements: The placement is quite good. From computers and mechanical, about all the eligible students are placed. In other branches, about 80% of the students were placed. Packages in companies are sometimes up to 30 LPA, and also some PSUs like BPCL and HPCL come to the campus for placements. If your CGPA is decent, and you have basic knowledge and skills, you will definitely get placed.

One of the good and the biggest campuses in Gujarat.

Placements: The average package is about 8 LPA. In 2017-18, most of the final year students placed in first 5 months only (85/90). Rest will also get placed. Internships are also good for 3rd-year students. Amazon took 7 people from the 3rd year for the internship. and half of the class of the third-year students got the internship.

In Awe of the campus of SVNIT, amazing support of faculty members. Good placement and facilities.

Placements: Here in SVNIT (NIT Surat), The placement is the driving factor for willing students to get admission in this National Level Institute. The placement is awesome for computer engineering. It is very satisfying for ECE, EE, chemical and mechanical engineering while it is average for civil engineering. For students pursuing M.Sc. and M.Tech, the placement opportunity is very good and is improving year by year.

Overall, very good college to study and live life.

Placements: The placement for mechanical engineering branch is quite good. Approximately 75% of the students were placed in various companies. Also, PSU like BPCL & HPCL is coming to the campus for selection, so it is very good opportunity for us to get into PSUs without GATE. Overall, for CSE and ECE, the placements are quite good. For electrical, civil, and chemical, the chances are less because not much companies are coming for placements.

Good faculty, placements, infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: The placements are almost 80%. For M.Tech, most of the placements are from the colleges like Uka Tarsadia University, Parul University and other local Gujarat colleges offering 30-40k per month salary. Some coaching centres like Aakash Institute and Resonance also approach for physics and mathematics teachers' recruitment. Companies like TCS, Infosys, Oracle, L&T, Rolls-Royce (2 students got selected), etc., give good package. For M.Tech, the scope is good for teaching. Still, you can get good s...

There is a good mix of students, faculty, college life, and the best possible mess and hostel.

Placements: Nearly there are 80% placements though mostly in the non-core companies. The average package may range from 4-5 LPA if the top placements in CS are not considered. There is a placement cell, which is efficient and they try to bring aboard as many companies as possible.

A review by a student of the mechanical engineering department in SVNIT.

Placements: There is a good scope for placement in this college at least for the computer engineering department and chemical engineering department. In electrical and mechanical, there are many companies that visit us and hire a good number of students. LnT, Bajaj, Maruti, Volvo -Eicher, Sunpharma, and many others for technical, i.e., core placement. Till now, one PSU has come offering about 15-19 LPA, but you need to maintain your CGPA for that. Also, there are few non-core companies for business manageme...

Absolutely satisfied with faculty members, infrastructure, canteen and placements.

Placements: The placements in transportation engineering and planning under the department of civil engineering are really good. The faculty have lots of contacts out there in their field, and it helps in getting the off-campus placements also. In the year 2017, the placements were around 150%. Some of the students got two jobs.

Placements: The placements for mechanical engineering have always been great regarding the profiles being offered to the students which are immensely helpful in defining an accelerated career trajectory. Companies like Reliance, L&T, Honda etc. as well as multiple PSUs visit the campus with really good packages to start off. The average CTC hovered around 6 LPA during our season.
