Fully satisfied with the college.

Placements: The placements at SVNIT is very good. If talking about the ratio, the average placement ratio from many years is around 80%. The highest salary offered is probably around 30 lakhs per annum, and the average salary is around 5 lakhs per annum. Many companies have visited our campus like Microsoft, Qualcomm, Oracle, HSBC, Airtel, Samsung, L&T, and many more. The internships ratio is around 70 percentage.

A beautiful campus with greenery all around.

Placements: I have no idea about the placements right now. But I remember, one of the pass-outs got a package of 51 lacs per annum (I guess). Surat, being an industrial city, has got a big scope for engineering students (chemical engineering, a bit more scope). From my department, many students go for the internships. The internship will provide you exposure to many institutions like IUCAA, ISRO, many institutions from Germany and many other foreign universities.

Good infrastructure and facilities, experienced faculty and mediocre placements.

Placements: The companies which visited the campus for the recruitment for the civil engineering were the L&T construction which offered 5.2 LPA, TBEA offered 3 LPA, BPCL offered 14 LPA and GEPIL offered 3 to 4.5 LPA (based on performance). L&T selected 21 students in which 3 of them were PPO (total strength of students 100 ) and BPCL selected 3 students where the selection is done based on the caste. TBEA selected 3 students. GEPIL selected 2 students in the previous year and is yet to visit this year. L&T...

Must visit this college. The campus is amazingly good.

Placements: It was good for our batch as almost 80% of us got placed at the end of the college days. But the packages offered in the placements were very bad. I got selected for L&T which offered a salary package of 5.4 LPA which is maximum of the batch I think. Good Companies visit the college for placements, but for civil engineers, you won't get more than this. PSUs don't visit this college.

The most prestigious and a dream college in India- SVNIT

Placements: It is the most prestigious college in India. The placement is the best every week. Our classmates are ready for the interview and after the interview, they are satisfied. The internship is also provided in our college. In each department, 3 students take the institute internship. Also, our alumni are organizing talks and offer their help too.

The placements, facilities and infrastructure are good. We can have fun in the college.

Placements: The overall placement has been quite good and excellent for mechanical and computer engineering branches. Nearly 50% of the batch has been already placed. Even PSU like BPCL has also visited and hired 6 students from the mechanical department. For other branches, companies like Amazon, Jp Morgan, L&T, Airtel, Capgemini and much more have recruited with the excellent packages.

The college has 100% placements, and awesome infrastructure and facilities.

Placements: There is 100% placement. Even by MHRD, NIT Surat has been ranked 2nd amongst all NITs. This year's highest package was around 27 lacs per annum. Amazon, JP Morgan, etc. are various renowned names that make their way to the list of the companies coming for campus recruitment.

Good infrastructure and good opportunities

Placements: The placement season at SVNIT was really good. Many good companies came for recruitment. The highest package was 25 LPA by D.E. Shaw and the lowest around 2 to 3 LPA. Most of the companies offered a software developer role. Companies like UHG, JP Morgan, Amdocs, HSBC, Capgemini, Endurance, Wipro, Mastercard, etc. visited the campus. Great infrastructure and ample facilities.

Placements: Placements are pretty good but there has been a declining trend since the past couple of years. The average pay package is 6-7 LPA. Future First, L&T, Reliance Industries Ltd., VECV, John Deere, BPCL and HPCL are some of the companies which come for placements. The companies coming for interns has however increased with companies like VECV, Sun Pharma and Bajaj coming to hire interns.

Great infrastructure, decent packages and faculty.

Placements: Companies start visiting the college for placements from the beginning of the academic year. The placements for final-year students are divided into three categories: 1) Below 4 LPA 2) 4-9 LPA 3) Above 9 LPA. Students are allowed to have only one placement offer in each of the categories i.e. if a student is placed in a company offering 6 LPA, he cannot attend the interview for any other company offering between 4-9 LPA. The eligibility for attending interviews is based on the CGPA. This var...

Placements: Our seniors were selected in various companies as well as institutions as trainee engineer and professors during the campus interview. Getting a job is not a difficult task once you enter SVNIT because your mentors make you technically sound so that you can face the upcoming challenges in the field. We also got selected in various institutions as an assistant professor and some went for higher studies in IITs and abroad. The average package was around 8 lacs per annum. Placements: The strength of mechanical engineering students is nearly 230 students per batch. Out of this nearly 150-180 sit for placements while the rest either go for MS abroad or for MTech. As per my knowledge, the selection ratio is pretty amazing for mechanical branch.I am not sure about other branches. The selection ratio is greater than 90% but it varies every year so I can't give you an exact figure. The lowest salary till now this year is 3.5 LPA and the highest is 12.13 LPA (HPCL) (on-campus place...

SVNIT is heaven. If you really wanna do engineering, it is one of the best colleges in India.

Placements: SVNIT was ranked as the 2nd best NIT by MHRD for the year 2015-2016. SVNIT has student T&P (training and placement) coordinators who coordinate the visit of a company. The number of companies visiting the campus is high enough to place at least 60-75% of the batch. Both types of companies visit the campus, i.e. core chemical engineering companies and also managerial companies. Also, companies visit the campus for the internship after the completion of the 3rd year of engineering which may or not...

Placements: The placement cell of SVNIT is very active. Every year, many companies come for college placement like Tech Mahindra, Godrej, Torrent Power, Essar, L&T, Telco, Tata Motors and many more. Here, proper guidance for interview and pre-test of placement is given to the students before they sit for placements. Students are also informed when a company comes and its guidelines and rules. Best college for mechanical engineering.

Placements: Mechanical engineering is a very good branch, especially in SVNIT. There will be up to 70% placements in the college with average salary around 6 LPA in core companies. So if you get mechanical stream here don't leave it. You have to crack JEE MAINS for getting admission in this college. Many companies like Tata Motors, BPCL, HPCL, Suzuki etc. visit for placements.

Companies that visited our campus are Reliance, Opal, Glenmark, Sun Pharma, Cairn, Vedanta, Infosys, L&T, ZS Solution etc. All students who are placed are offered graduate engineer trainee role. Placements: The placement in the college depends on your branch. For computer science, the placement record is always brilliant with an average package of above 10 LPA. In 2016-17, the highest package for CS was 25 LPA. Most of the CS students get placed easily. EC and Mechanical both grab the second position in terms of placements.
