It is a nice college to study with a good atmosphere. People from diverse backgrounds, study here and the facilities provided by the faculty are good. The college provides a good base of primary education. The city in which it is situated is quite cool - Surat. The people in Surat are not only business minded, but friendly too. Various places like Jani's Locho, Gangor etc. are present near the college, which can be visited by a foodie.

Great Infrastructure, Serene Campus, Good People and Good Atmosphere. This is the Best College to do Computer Science Engineering in Gujarat, so if you are interested, go for it. The Students are good and the Professors are great! Placement opportunities in this Department are the best in the College. Attendance is strict, but the Teaching Assistants are a bit lenient. The Faculty Members are helpful and so are the seniors. This College has one of the best High-speed Internet connection in the c...

SVNIT is one of the prestigious colleges of our country. It offers many B.Tech as well as M.Sc courses to choose from. Infrastructure of the college is outstanding and is developing by the day. Faculty of computer and ECE branch are not that great, however rest of the streams are well equipped with good professors. Placements for computer are excellent and many startups have also confided in our college and are thus offering good packages. The campus is situated well in the center of the city in...

The college is good. Principal take care of overall development of every student. But there is some issue with teaching. I don't know about other branches but in computer branch there are many faculties who will just read from book or just keep reading ppt's. So students need to prepare on their own. If you can study well by own then must go with SVIT, even the placements are very well.

During my days at SVNIT I was exposed to a cultural diversity that I hadn't witnessed before. It was a mix of students fresh out of their schools and wanting to make a mark during their college life and people those have slogged hard to get into this reputed college. The college provided an amalgamation of academic and cultural values which is very essential to shape up the career of the students. The infrastructure provided by the college was exceptional in terms of quality. The mess food was b...

Fun loving atmosphere, huge campus crowded by trees. No study load, all faculties are very friendly. One of the best NITs and well developed infrastructure. Hostel facilities are superb, even better than IITs. Location is also good. Almost all functions are celebrated with lot of fun and love. You may also learn other technical program parallel to course.

Has a very good canteen and big playground. The infrastructure is still developing but the location is good. Some faculty members are not that great. Overall it is a good college.

It is one of the best colleges in India. I had completed my course in mechanical engineering. The best part of the college is it brings out of yourself your inner talent by providing you the opportunities. Team work activities are provided and the college. Students from different parts of the country get to know each other. The aspect that I don't like about the college is lack of focus in sports that need to be looked because there are number of students that need proper grooming.

Very nice college and good placements. Location of the college is also good. Good atmosphere, high salary placements in many companies. But the fees is too high. But once you get admission, you wouldn’t have to care about your future, it is automatically going to be good.

Overall college is really good for studies but there is a lot of interference of faculty in daily life and there are gate timings which I feel should not be there for a UG student. Location wise I guess may be the best one in India as it’s located in the best part of the city fill with a good crowd. Placements in Mech and EE are really good and Mech has one of the best faculties.

It is among the oldest of the REC which was later converted to NIT Surat. The best part of the college is the infrastructure, which is new for the most part of college including the hostels. And second is the prime location of the college, unlike other NIT's which are situated outside the city. The most amazing part of taking up computer engineering course at NIT Surat is the placement department which attracts all major companies from both core and non-core sectors like Future First, Mu-Sigma,...

The main advantage of the college is its accessibility. It is situated in town and shops, malls, theaters and all nearby. The infrastructure is good compared to other NITs. Good number of companies come for placement. In my class itself more than 70% of students are placed. Teachers are interactive and good in their subjects. The campus is pretty large and greenery.
