Placements: Most of the students are getting placed in the IT sector. There is no or little scope for the students to get placed in the core field. Many IT companies visit our campus, but only a few core companies hire our students. Companies like Airtel, LnT and John Deere are the only core companies that visited our campus to hire our students.

Placements: Our seniors experienced an excellent number of placements last year. About 65%-70% of our seniors got placed. They were placed in very good companies like Amazon, Oracle, Adobe, Mastercard, DE Shaw, ONGC, L&T, UHG, John Deere, Reliance, and many other MNCs. They were offered roles of developers and junior engineers. The average salary package offered is about 6-12 LPA. About 15-20% of the students get internships every year. Placements: Those who are interested in a job got placed, and their placement percentage is almost above 90%. Not more than ten companies visited for placements in electronics. About 50% or more got placed in IT companies. There is a lot of scope to place in IT companies even though non-core and the salary package ranged from 1-20 LPA.

Placements: The placement rate of our college is good, but the companies visiting the campus are not that good. Moreover, the salary packages offered are very low. The average salary package offered is 6 LPA. It is the same scenario for internships. Even the companies visiting at the initial phase of placements are not that much good.

Placements: The percent of students getting placed is good. There is a placement cell and I have seen it working good last year. The highest, the lowest salary offered as per my knowledge is 13 lacs per annum and 3 lacs per annum respectively. The percent of students got an internship is about 50%. Placements: The placements were good enough, it should be given to the people with skills rather than CGPA. In the computer engineering department, nearly 95% of people were placed last year. The highest salary offer was 36 LPA and the lowest was 5-6 LPA. Companies like MasterCard, Amazon, etc.

Placements: Placement rate for the computer department in NIT Surat is pretty high. Almost everyone gets placed. There is a TNP team who invite different companies for placements and internships. Other departments also have good placement rate.

Placements: Almost 60% of electrical branch students get placed. The eligibility criteria for placements are pretty strict. Salary packages offered aren't as good as advertised unless CGPA of the students is above 9. Even the placement rate is 100% for computer branch students but not much job satisfaction. The software and other non-core jobs are more prevalent.

Placements: Placements are good for computer engineering. You have to maintain at least 6 CGPA for getting a minimum package of 6 LPA. The highest package goes up to around 30 LPA offered by companies like Amazon and Show, Google etc. The average package is around 9 LPA. The top 3 students get a package of 25 to 30 LPA, grade B students get a package of around 11 to 15 LPA. Most of the students get a package of 7 to 8 LPA, which is very sufficient if you are interested in coding.

Placements: Placement opportunities for computer science, and electronics and communication engineering departments have been good lately. Around 90 out of 100 students in the computer department get placed every year with most of them being offered a package of around 9-10 LPA.

Placements: There might not be 100% placements, but most of them who are eligible for placements get placed. The average salary package offered might be 6-7 LPA for EC student. Many core companies are not visiting the college, but students can appear for software companies entrance test. Companies with management and consultancy profiles are visiting our college for recruitments.

Placements: Placements are above average. Only 1-2 core companies visit for branches like ECE. The software placements are quite good. People who are interested in software have good chances of placements and career. The are many good companies that come to the campus every year.

Placements: Placements are average in SVNIT. If you are a student of the CS department, then you can expect an average package of 7-8 LPA. The average salary package offered for the students of other branches is 4-5 LPA. Approximately 90% of the students from the CS department got placed. Around 60%-80% of the students got placed from the chemical and electronics departments. The placements of other departments are below average.

Placements: There is a placement facility in college. This year, only marketing companies visited the campus for placements. Core companies are not visiting the college for placements. This year, most of the students from IT department got placed, and they got good salary packages. Some students also got selected by some companies like TCS, etc.

Placements: The placements here are pretty decent if you are from computer department. A lot of company comes and recruits for software engineer positions. Whereas for core electronics, there are a very few companies that come, the best of them being Bharti Airtel which gives package of 10LPA and hires 2 or 3 students every year. For electrical and mechanical, several industrial companies comes and recruits. As far as internships are concerned, few good companies recruit 3rd year students of various branch....

Placements: The placements in Svnit are not so satisfying. The highest package is 12lakhs/annum from electronic department. The average package is 4-5 Lacs. Only Artiel company offers a the highest package of 12lakhs. It hires only 3-4 students. Other companies which come are capgemini, j p Morgan. Internships we have to apply outside college because very few companies come for internships.

Placements: All the upcoming and established private companies including prestigious coaching institutions like Akash, Extramarks etc. Visit the institute for placements. After all formalities and procedures and also a proper interview, the best of the students who are worthy are selected. CGPA does not play a key role in placements. So the students with low CGPA, who are deserving will not lose the opportunity to work in a established firm. Minimum package does't go below 3 lakes per annum.

Placements: The placements are good, but not for all departments. Students are offered internships and jobs, some of which have a really good pay while some don't. For branches like Electrical Engineering and Electronics and Communications Engineering, the placements do not seem to be that great.

Placements: None for urban planning. If you want to become an assistant professor then any M.Tech. Branch will do. Atleast 35-40k is coolly given by any private institute. NIT generally gets higher package for asst professor. Placements for B.Tech. Students is nice. PhDs also don't get much job offers.

Placements: The placements are good for computer science departments. For other departments, it is not good. We have to prepare for competitive exams. The average package offered for CSE students was Rs. 10 LPA, and for others, it is 4.5-5 LPA. So, the overall placements are just average. As Surat is an industrial area, the placements are good for chemical and civil students.
