The student life at Saveetha for the career and future.

Placements: We had a nice placement team that invites a lot of companies for the career of the students and helps students to prepare for the recruitment and their interview process. The placement team was awesome and helps students to get through with the previous placement issues and how to face the questions asked by the HR. The college provides placement in reputed companies and gives the student a bright career.

Completely dissatisfied with college curriculum and no programes were conducted during college.

Placements: The placements offered for the senior batch was good, but the openings for the freshers who are going out in 2018 are low. Capgemini hired 90 students, and Emphasis 15, Aspire 10 and many marketing companies visited for hiring the students. The highest package offered is 3 lakhs per annum and the lowest package offered is 1.5 lakh per annum.

I am Satisfied because of its infrastructure and facilities, but not with its less placements.

Placements: For our batch, there were fewer placements compared to our seniors. From day 1 we got Tech Mahindra, IBM, Capgemini. Around 300+ got placed in the recruitment. After the Day 1 placement, we didn't get any MNCs in our college. And the ones who got placed in the Tech Mahendra didn't receive their call letters yet. Overall, the percentage of the students who got placed was only 60%. We also had a lot of internships happening, and the interested candidates can give their best there.

Overall, it is a good college to spend those four golden college years.

Placements: Compared to other colleges of the same place, Saveetha had a lot of placement opportunities. Some of the pool drives were in fact hosted in Saveetha. But, there are some restrictions for the students to get placed in multiple companies. This could be a drawback for someone who is already placed but wants to get a better opportunity. Apart from that, the college has a separate placement wing which has a good staff force to train the students on the placements.

Bright feature of engineering students.

Placements: I'm proud to be a part of this college. My college has great placements. Every year, it is increasing the placement capacity. My college calls reputed companies and they teach us how to get a job easily. My seniors got good placements in reputed companies. 98% placement is the highest in my college in 2k15 batch

Good but need changes in many places like placement, discipline and food.

Placements: It has very good placement for the particular departments like computer science, electronics and communication, etc. But the placement of the mechanical engineering and the civil engineering is poor. The highest salary offered was Rs. 7 lacs per annum. The lowest salary offered was Rs. 15,000 per annum. The college also has the placement training classes which are compulsory for all the students. So, it is a must to have those classes. It is helping to get placements in the companies. The intern...

The experience which I got through in this college is overwhelming

Placements: Decent compared to that of other colleges. They fix some company which does a bulk recruitment. Other than that, they bring good start-ups where a starter can start his life and learn a lot of things. The placement coordinators and team gives you the exact information and the scenario.

Overall a good college for students who want to grow with their ambition.

Placements: The placements are really good. Mostly, all the students are placed except students with arrears. The college also provides arrear management classes. My college has a record placement of 90% which includes blue-chip companies like TechM, IBM, Capgemini, Infosys, MRF, TVS, etc. The maximum salary is 700k per year and the lowest is 300k per year. The roles offered were of a technical associate, software engineer, embedded engineer. Almost 75% students are offered an internship. Alumni programme i...

Please do not join this college.

Placements: The placements in this college are good in number but you study engineering this college you will probably end up in a call centre or complete graduation without any job, neither of which is good for you, so do not expect this college to provide quality placements.

Good infrastructure. The placements were average. Faculty members were not good.

Placements: They claim to have 100% placements which is not true. Most of the companies that come for placements are BPOs and KPOs. Only 40% of the students were placed. The salary of the companies ranged from Rs. 1,50,000 to Rs. 3,50,000 p.a. Companies like IBM, Infosys, Tech Mahindra, CSS Corps, Amazon, Sutherland and few other companies came for the placement drive. Nobody got an internship from the college.

The college provides decent coaching and the management is liberal. Be prepared to travel very far as the college is located near Queensland theme park. We had placements but our college students were not respected enough by HCL and hence we wasted for almost a year in joining. The cons are high fees, lack of placement and below par infrastructure.

They have also introduced a robotic department in engineering which has a larger scope in future. Students who are academically go...

Almost 3/4th of the college professors are Ph.D. qualified and thus are highly knowledgeable. The college has its own robotics club which also sends students abroad for international competitions. I was part of a team which went to NASA during the 4th year to take part in a robotics competition. College infrastructure is top notch with labs having latest machines and relevant software installed on the computers. Classrooms also have smart boards installed to aid teaching. Cons include the remote...

Not too good, not too bad. Placements are OK. Infrastructure and facilities good. Faculty members are OK. Not one of the very strict, school like colleges in Chennai. Hostel facilities are manageable. Away from the city by 10 km. Campus is located along medical college and university.
