Best college in Chennai, The best thing about the college is its campus and infrastructure. It has all types of outdoor ground, and other facilities. Placements are huge in this college. I would recommend this college not only for engineering but there are campus of Saveetha all over Chennai for dental, medical and law.

The campus is very well maintained, the hostels are better than average. If you do fairly well, you have a very good chance of landing one of the best jobs available in your area of expertise/engineering. Even though some of the departments of SEC have very good faculty members, others lack considerably.

Good infrastructure and really a good environment to study. The faculties are good in teaching. There are so many things to build up our attitude. It is a right campus to become what you want to be. Mainly the events like Drestein and e-cell will help you to bring out your talent. And the cultural will also be awesome. And coming to the academic part, there will be more internship programs and a yearly industrial visit.

This college is so worse that it is built for taking money from students and not for educating them. If you raise a voice against them, you are either suspended or terminated. There is politics in every aspect in this college. Be aware of entering into this college. It would be the last place you might want to go for engineering.

The Saveetha Engineering College has been one of the reasons for my success in life. It all started with my favorite department and ended from the college with a good placement. Thanks to few people who supported and encouraged me in all ways in getting placed in a good company. The college regularly conducts workshops, symposiums and other activities in the campus. It is completely a student friendly oriented college in Chennai. I recommend everyone to join this college and enjoy their college ...

Our college is good to those students who concentrate on academics and focus on executing future plans. The weightage is 20% internal and 80% external. Coming to the infrastructure, it is quite good but not the best. Placements range between 75 and 90%. Student to faculty ratio is good and there are many experienced faculty members. Good importance is given to college fests and participation.

Nothing special about college. Place where money got its real importance. Only good thing to be considered is faculty as they are trained professionals. Good placement training with zero on campus placements. Join if you believe you can get a job in off-campus placements.

I was quite satisfied with the college .

Placements: For the past few years many of the company have visited saveetha engineering college for the placement. Many of the students were placed. But only drawback is not getting adequate salary and position. Many companies are interested in our college and from this year the number of companies can increase .

All you need to know before joining SEC(Saveetha Engineering College)

Placements: I am currently 2nd year. The number of students that have been placed in the 4th year is around 97% but the college tries to place most of the students in the sales side and not the IT side. The companies that come for hiring are Caegemini, Guvi, DevRev, Mu Sigma, JP Morgan Chace and Co, HDB, Foxconn, etc., Most students attend internship in the 3rd or 2nd year and mostly students do the internship in companies nearby. Most students get developer role if they are placed. The highest package is...
