Review of Saveetha University by a BE graduate

Placements: Our college has got placements of some forums like Odisha, PayPal, Capgemini, Sutherland, L&T, Infact and many companies for internship training, with MNCs for CSE students. Our college is supporting every student well for placing in a firm.

I am absolutely dissatisfied as no information was provided regarding my course or its program.

Placements: The placement in the college is the worst when compared to other colleges. Also, no proper guidance is given to the students, but attract new student by displaying fake placements. The basic package of Rs. 30,000 only is offered to the students by the below average companies, and I don't know about the stipend offered in the internship in our college. The placements are only offered to the students having no backlogs.

Satisfied with the university, and worth being to join the university.

Placements: The placements are good. 75% of the students will be placed in different companies. Regarding placements, the university has a great academic height.

A very good college in Chennai.

Placements: The average placements are provided in this college. We can get some good experience in this college. They are good cultured and very highly educated. We have a less fee structure to learn in this college. Before my batch, they got a very few placements opportunities that is why I am telling you that very few placements are provided, and the administration fees are also cheap.

Better institution, student friendly, good hostels and sports should be encouraged.

Placements: The placements are offered to all the departments. But only CSE, IT and ECE branches are given importance. I would say about 70% is about the placement aggregate. And the salary package offered is 2 LPA to 4 LPA it differs according to the companies. Our college administration keeps on trying the placement ratio by inviting the companies and by training the students according to the capabilities in the placement cell.

One of the best university with good placements.

Placements: Placements are good in my college, and most of the students were placed in some big companies. We were placed on a testing team. Now, we are in a good position, every student placed in companies, they talk about our university positively. When I was planning to join a college for my degree, all of them had suggested me this university.

Explaining about our college infrastructure, teaching methodology and placements

Placements: 80 percent placements were there and they will give special training to students. The highest average salary offered is 7 lakhs and the roles offered to students are in IT, marketing and BPO sectors. Some companies will offer internships to the students and the lowest stipend offered is 15,000. In our senior batch, the placements were good but our placements were average.

Students get the position of basic engineering position, or as programmers in the company. 96percent of the students get the internship with a stipend of about Rs.13000.

Absolutely dissatisfied because of faculty and education system

Placements: Placements were not as expected. There is a slight decrease compared to our previous batch. Most of the companies were not core companies and the package offered was 1.5 lacs to 2.5 lacs. There is no consistency in the academic pattern and they created a lot of confusion among students. I can rate them as 6 out of 10.

A good place to groom yourself.

Placements: Companies will come based on the placement cell coordinator. We got 40+ companies and more than 300 students got placed. Some got offers and others didn't. This is the point where the management should take responsibility that placed students should get their offers.

Satisfied because of faculty, good placements in 2023, really good infrastructure, and facilities.

Placements: Placements are good. They have the best companies, like Amazon, Cognizant, etc. In the college, they give training for placement. We have 90% of placements in the college; nearly 5000 students get placement in the college. They will train you from 3rd year onwards.

If you have sufficient money then only join this college otherwise not.

Placements: Minimum, we need to get 8 CGPA; it helps to get jobs easily. The lowest package offered in my college is 400,000 per annum. DeltaX, Cognizant, TCS, and many other companies offer jobs in my college. The jobs offered depend on what course you are looking for. If you took Computer Science Engineering, many IT and MNC companies are trying to hire you based on your knowledge.

Great infrastructure and facilities, but faculty issues persist; placements were strong back in 2015

Placements: 80 percent of students were placed in our course. The highest package is 15 lakhs and the lowest is 8 lakhs. Companies like Google, Dell, HCL, etc., recruited students from our course, and 85 percent of students got internships in these companies. CSE, EEE, and ECE roles offered in our course are very good.

Happy with the college and good infrastructure.

Placements: First of all, it's very nice to select our courses for a semester. 80% to 90% of the students select every year. The highest package is 12L, the average is 7L, and the lowest is 4L. TCS is one of the top recruiting companies for this course. Every year, internships are conducted, and more than 80% of students got selected last year from my course.
