Faculty: The faculty members are generally helpful, qualified, and possess strong knowledge in their respective fields. The curriculum for biotechnology and bioinformatics programs is designed to be relevant to industry needs and emerging trends in the field. The difficulty of the exam depends on the course and individual preparation.

Faculty: The teachers are good, well-trained, and well paid. Most of the teachers are doctors. The teachers here have well-experience. The teachers are there to help the students. They are friendly to the students. The other non-teaching staff are also kind in nature.

Faculty: Faculty members are helpful, well qualified and very knowledgeable. They teach through projectors and blackboards. The student-faculty ratio is 1:15. The curriculum is good. All the topics needed are covered nicely. Regular seminars and projects are given to students. The timetable and yearly calendar are also provided on time. The results take a lot of time though.

Faculty: The new curriculum for biomedical engineering is good, and the faculty members teach well, at least most of them do. Some teachers are not so good. Practical learning could have been better but overall, the course covers every major part of biomedical engineering.

D.Y.Patil University is a UGC recognized deemed university (NAAC accredited) and offers a wide range of courses. The Biotechnology and Bioinformatics institute is situated in CBD Belapur outside of the main campus not too far away in Nerul, Navi Mumbai. So one does tend to miss out on the activities of the main campus, which can be quite lively.
