A good college with opportunities but expensive as compared to other colleges.

Placements: We have to complete BBA to get placed. We are eligible to sit in many of the companies coming to recruit. We are the second batch, and our seniors were very few students. So the average salary package offered is difficult to ascertain, but for BBA it is around 3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was around 10 LPA, and the lowest salary package offered was 2 LPA. Our prominent recruiters were Accenture, Decathlon, ITC, OYO and Nestle among others. Internships are provided to every student o...

UPES nurtures students with its nature.

Placements: Placements assured by our college are not just a boast, but it is true (if you haven't failed in any of the semesters of the course, can get placements). Most of the students are recruited in PSUs. Though they are private entities, they recruit a handsome number of students. In the initial only, PSUs offer the highest salary packages. In our batch, the highest salary package was bagged by Shrimant Jichkar in ONGC, and it was 8.5 LPA. Since our course is most of practical-oriented, internships ar...

The college life in UPES is awesome, and there are mountains at the backside with fresh air.

Placements: Almost 100% of the students got placed. The highest salary package offered is 2 LPA, the average salary package offered is 1.5 LPA and the lowest salary package offered is 1 LPA. All government administrative companies recruit students through conducting examinations, and UPES also provides their best facility with embedded civil services test preparation. Top roles offered to the students are cabinet secretary, DM SSP, ASP, ADM and SDM. The salary package offered in our course is 2 LPA. Almost ...

Review of School of Business, University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: The average salary package offered ranges between 6-7 LPA. All students from our senior batch got placed in companies like Reliance, Nestle, Om Logistics, Varuna Logistics, Mavyn.in, Decathlon, Accenture. We approach the same companies that visit for our placements. For the internship, there are times when students go for a self internship.

3 Good years went by in a flash.

Placements: The placements for the management students of BBA Logistics Management were a bit below par. With the average package touching just 3 LPA and the highest package of 4.5 LPA. The returns were not up to the mark, considering the investment. I sure did get placed in a profile of my liking, that was an HR profile in 360 Degree Consulting Services. The senior batch had a similar placement season. For my summer internship, I interned at IOCL, Plant at Kolkata. It was my own sourced internship.

Great college to be in, but comes with a heavy investment and low return.

Placements: Placements are just okay for BBA students at UPES. Though I had opted out of the placement process, many of my friends were in the process. The average package was 3 LPA. Many big companies visited the campus and recruited students. Some of the names include FedEx, Navigators Logistics, DHL, CONCOR, Big Boy Toyz, Motilal Oswal and many more. Many other start-ups also visited and majorly offered internships to students during summer time.

I spend the best days of my life here.

Placements: Placements in UPES for BBA were slightly less rewarding to students as compared to B.Tech and law students. The average package offered for the BBA department was quite low (3 LPA) as compared to the fee charged by the college. Even the summer internships were decent. Most of the students were offered internships in start-up companies without stipends. However, I was offered a great internship opportunity in Big Boy Toyz. Although the profile offered was not related to my domain, I had an excell...

Expensive college for doing BBA. Placements are below par.

Placements: Final placements were below par. Some of the decent companies visited the campus but, still the salary package offered to BBA students were not very good. The average package was just 3 LPA. The highest package touched 4.5 LPA. The final placements in 2017 was better than my passing year. Summer internships provided by college was also not good.

Great experience at UPES. It is a great college for MBA.

Placements: Placements during the year 2017 were very good. Some of the reputed companies visited the campus for recruitment. My friends got placed in companies such as TCS, Infosys, HDFC Bank, Motilal Oswal, etc. I was happy to get recruited by Birlasoft at New Delhi. I was offered a role in business analytics as I majored in MBA business analytics. The average salary package offered was around 5 LPA.

It is a great college with good people and location, but the fee structure is high.

Placements: Placements for BBA students were okay. Good companies visited the campus for placements but offered very low salary packages. The average salary package offered was close to 3-3.3 LPA. The highest salary package offered was around 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered was 2.4 LPA. Summer internships were also not good as only a few students got good internships with stipend and majority of students worked without stipend. That was discouraging. A college with great potentials.

Placements: Placements were really promising. The highest package achieved by our batch students was roughly around Rs. 4.5 LPA, and almost 95% of them were placed too. For my seniors, the highest package offered was around Rs. 12-15 LPA, and almost 95%-99% of them were placed. The university really focuses on fitting you in the best of the corporate jobs according to your area of specialisation. Companies which appeared for placements drives were of different industry sizes and levels, out of which some of...

The curriculum is good, but the college is very expensive.

Placements: Placements in our college were okay. Companies that visited the college were startups and are not well-established firms. Job profiles offered by firms were mostly sales. The average package offered was 2.4 lakhs per annum. The placement cell was not that supportive and not even serious about our placements. Students were not given the option to reject offers made by the company and were not allowed to talk about the salary freely.

Heavenly location, stunning infrastructure, good faculty members but not that good placements.

Placements: Placements in the college were below my expectations. So I opted out from campus placements and went for an MBA after completing my BBA from UPES. The average salary package offered was below par, around 2.5-3.3 LPA, which was disheartening. However, some reputed companies like DHL, Gati Ltd, Kuehne Nagel, FedEx and many more do visit the campus for final placements. Companies also offered good profiles, but the salary package offered was low.

Too expensive education, decent faculty members with a great infrastructure.

Placements: Not very encouraging placements, though great companies visit for placements such as FedEx, Safe Express, DHL, Big Boy Toyz, Navigator Logistics etc. The package provided to students is sadly very low, ranging around 2.4 - 3.3 LPA. Summer Internships are fairly good, with only a few students getting stipends in their internships. Majorly companies visiting for summer internships are start-ups and SMEs.

Great college and great people, but the fee is too high, and the ROI is not very satisfactory.

Placements: Placements for my batch (2018 pass out) were average, not that excellent as I expected. One of the first students to get placed was from my class, BBA logistics management. The average package offered was around 3 LPA, and the highest package in logistics management branch was around 4.5 LPA. Companies which visited campus were very good, such as FedEx, DHL, Gati Ltd., Agarwal Packers and Movers, Delivery, Big Boy Toyz etc.

Placements: The placement process of our batch was not as we had thought at the time of admission. There was a lot of mismanagement and communication between the placement cell and the companies that visited our campus. Our senior batch had a better placement than us. The highest salary package offered was 4 LPA. The lowest salary package offered came down to 2.3 LPA. The engagement of students in the placement process was a bit encouraging. Good College, good infrastructure but low ROI, too expensive.

Placements: The placements were good, as far as the course was concerned, the first company to visit for final placements was, Navigator Logistics and interestingly, my close friend from the class was the first student to get placed. That was a morale booster for us. The Placement Committee at School of Business, is fairly good, students get fair chances to apply for the companies. Some of the companies that visited for Final Placements were Navigator Logistics, FedEx, Big Boy Toyz, Gati Logistics, Kuehne N...

Placements: Summer internships for our batch are going well now. Only Nestle visited the college until now, but in the future, Big Basket, Future Group, ITC, and Oyo companies will visit our campus for internships and senior batch placements.
