A brighter future and better opportunity at UPES.

Placements: Our University guarantees 100% placement of computer science branch, and it actually does provide the same. The companies like Microsoft, Amazon, Dell, Comvault, L&T Infotech, IBM, etc. provide a good amount of CTC starting from 4.5 lakhs per annum to 18 lakhs per annum. The students get into positions like software developer, software tester, consultant and many more.

Worth the money when it comes to the faculty, the placements, and the infrastructure.

Placements: As far as I know, the placements were good with an average package of 4 LPA. Almost all the leading companies visit the campus including Microsoft, who have taken two students with a decent package. I don't have any knowledge about the internship through the college. The college always provides the good package for the students. Almost every average student got placed with the decent package. The companies offer the student to be a developer as well as the tester in their companies.

Amazing support by all the teachers and the management

Placements: The placements for our senior batch were quite good. Most of the students have been placed till now. Many big IT giants come to visit our campus. They offer a handsome package to students. Companies like C-volt, Microsoft, IBM, LNT, Cybertech, VMware and many others come to visit. The highest package of this year till now is about 18 LPA, and the minimum package is about 3.75 LPA.

Satisfied with the faculty and the placements.

Placements: There were 50 to 60 companies that visited our campus for the computer science department. We had a decent placement session. The placement department provides a good placement assistance. We received great counselling from the departments and the HODs. No assistance is provided to the students having the backlogs in their tenure. The placement's in-charge tend to irritate you, but at the end, it is for your good.

University of Petroleum and Energy studies survey. It is owned by Lauret International Group

Placements: If we talk about placement scenario in UPES, it's quite good. This year more than 85% of computer science students placed in companies. Dream slot that are Microsoft, Dell, VMware also takes a student from a 2013-2017 batch with the highest package of 14 lakhs per annum. Dell also had given internships and PPO to a student who qualified their internships interview. This year, the average package was about 4.5 lakhs per annum and the highest package of around 14 lakhs per annum for computer scien...

Worth the fee we pay. The only negative is that the average packages are low.

Placements: The average packages of UPES are pretty normal- around 3.5 lakhs per annum. Only a few students get the chance of getting packages around 10-16 lakhs. Almost 90% of the students in computer science get placed every year. So getting placed is sure but getting higher packages is difficult.

Worth to have your graduation from this college, very good placement specially for computer science.

Placements: Talking about the placements, for our 2016 senior's batch there were companies but not as good as we have for the batch of 2017. Overall, the placements were good for the batch of 2016, but for 2017 a lot of work is being done by our college placement cell. Many companies visited campus and offered good roles and salary packages. Microsoft offered a salary package of 10 LPA. Amazon offered the roles of the trainee with a package of 3 LPA for 6 months. Dell offered a package of 8 LPA. IBM offered...

UPES is Asia's best core sector domain specific university

Placements: The placements of our college is by far the best placements in Dehradun. The opportunities are many and all of us have the talent and courage to grab one. One can get a 20 lakhs-package and one can also have 3 lakhs, it all depends on us. I am currently in the last year of my course and the placements are about to start.

Better than most of the private colleges in India.

Placements: Talking of computer science, the college has a record of 100% placements. Other branches are also not far behind as the placement cell has always been working hard for the students. The highest package in my batch was at Schlumberger of 28 lakh per annum.

Review of my college: University of Petroleum and Energy Studies.

Placements: 86% students of my batch were placed in good positions and opportunities. The process is very transparent. Companies like Schlumberger, Reliance, IBM, MAW Software and much more visited our campus. There are various rounds a student has to clear like aptitude, GD and the final interview.

The average package was close to 4L which is a great increase when compared to previous years. A lot of students even got PPOs (pre-placement offers).

UPES - a place to be a true engineer.

Placements: We have excellent placements in our campus. MNCs like Microsoft, Amazon, Nagaroo, Commvault, Birla, Dell, IBM visit our campus and recruit students. My seniors were around 450 in number and out of that, more than 400 were placed, rest opted for higher studies. I know about my branch i.e. CSE. My seniors generally got either software developer or web developer roles. Internship is not as good as placements but yes, if you are capable then you can get it.

Companies that visited: Commvault, Microsoft, L&T Infotech, IBM, LeenApps, Adobe, Dell and many more. The internship is average to good.
