Reputed and the best college of north India.

Placements: There are almost 100% placements for the CS students which include the average package of around 4 lakhs with companies giving 15-20 lakhs of packages as well. Companies like Tech Mahindra, IBM, Infosys and much more come every year, so there is a huge opportunity to get placed from UPES. I don't think there is any branch who didn't get recruiters. Almost 80% of the students on average get placed in UPES ignoring the package as there is sometimes more offered, or sometimes less. ...

Good Scenery and Placements

Placements: The placements were good. 95% of our batch, as well as our senior batches, were placed in the 7th semester itself in most of the MNCs. The highest package that the student got was 15 Lakhs and the average package was 4 lacs. IBM, Infosys, Xebia, Zensar, Cisco ,Amazon, Flipkart, L&T Infotech and much more. Most of the roles were Associate System Engineer in development as well as support areas. For internships and stipends, you have to depend on yourself, otherwise, it will be a remote IBM intern...

Good if you get admission in cloud computing.

Placements: The placements were good and only one guy in our class was not placed. There were few companies with a higher package but many companies came to our college for placements like DELL R&D, SAP and IBM. The level which we studied matched what was asked in the placements.

This college is an amazing place. Has a friendly faculty. Innovation directed. Industry focused courses. Latest specific domains. International collaborations. World's Best Student Chapters, SPE and ACM. Attendance is a mandatory. Uniform sucks. Wi-Fi is amazing, but some sites are blocked. Placement only in product based companies and not in BPOs.

Studying here is definitely value for money and 100% placements are ensured. Awesome faculty, good exposure to work culture and facilities. A lot of companies visit the college and meet their expectations. Major focus is on practicals and projects. Due to domain specific branches, there is a lot of demand for engineers in the companies.

The best part of my college was its environment and the people (Staff and students both). Something that people might not know about the college is the strictness and the rules that the college abide to. Everything goes as easy steps of processes which makes easier for anyone to follow and achieve something. Along with the Natural beauty that resides in Dehradoon and Near by Hills, it has the most amazing crowd and is located in one of the nicest and calmest city. The placement has seen much gro...
