A huge campus with high fees which is not worthy.

Placements: Placement here is good. Many companies come and also give jobs to many students with a good package. This college has almost 99% placement record, by the end all the students are placed. If anyone wants to take placement according to their wish, for them the grades are very important. And the most of the students are placed in mass recruitment only.

The college had good placements record from years.

Placements: Placement number is good. Almost 95% of my seniors got placed in reputed companies. The placement has always been the strong point of the University. University works in improving the soft skills of students through various courses and workshops, etc.

Good for placements and the worst for outer the academic arena.

Placements: As per the placements are concerned. Yes many good companies come to this college and they hire also. If anyone has made efforts then you can get a good package above 10 lacs. Also for avg students you get a placement in mass recruiting companies for sure. Their placement record is also true of 100% percent placement. They are providing it but yes this batch of 2019 will be the deciding factor as the no of students this year are triple of last years records. So keep tuned to it.

UPES - The Last Best Option.

Placements: Placement records have always been promising for CSE-CCVT branch, with a good record of more than 90% placements every year but however the avg. Package is somewhat around 2.5u20134 LPA. Basically, if u have talent and are an excellent coder then you can even get a package close to 9u2013 10lpa. The highest salary offered is around 18 LPA while the lowest would be around 2 LPA. If you are good enough then you will definitely get placed. If not, Infosys, TCS, and HCL are waiting. Prominent compan...

It is an average college, but not that much good compared to fees of other colleges.

Placements: The placements were not good. Average placements were there for both senior batch and our batch. The highest package was 10 LPA offered but to only a few people, and the lowest was 3 LPA, and the average was only 3.5 LPA. The roles were not for technical position. The internship was also not as much as expected, and it was overall below average. Many students have done their internship without ant payment, and only a few got a stipend.

The college review for the betterment of the coming students.

Placements: The placements of my college are quite better as compared to other private universities for CSE branch. 97 percent of the batch is placed well. Some of the students of the college are placed in the 2nd half of 3rd year. The companies like Microsoft also took 3 to 4 skilled students.

UPES, a place with lots of opportunities but less facilities.

Placements: The average salary that most of my seniors have got is about 3.5 LPA to 4 LPA. The maximum package offered is 17 LPA from Convault. Microsoft offered a package of 9 LPA. VMware gave a package of about 9 LPA. L&T came and did mass recruitment of 200+ students at a package of 4.5 LPA. IBM gives a package of 3.5 LPA. 70% to 80% students of all the branches are placed.

Overall, the college is good by considering the placements, faculty, curriculum, and infrastructure.

Placements: The placements are decent, and you'll get placed if you work hard and channelize your strength. The lowest package is 5 LPA, and the highest I have seen is 24 LPA. The companies like Microsoft and Flipkart have visited the campus to hire the students. The roles starting from a developer to researchers are offered to the alumni.

Placements: There were several placements for our senior batch of IT Infrastructure branch. The highest package offered was of 24 lakhs per annum, and the lowest package offered was of 3 lakhs per annum. The average package offered is about 6-7 lakhs per annum. Companies visited our campus were IBM, LNT, Adobe, Accenture, TCS, HCl, Microsoft.

The placements are mostly done by the mass recruiting firms.

Placements: Ours is the first batch, and we are currently in the 3rd semester as of 2017. Amazon, Flipkart, L&T, Wipro, and Tata took many students for IT jobs. They were offered a median of 4.5 lakhs per annum. The highest package in IT branch is about 8 lacs per annum. Around 80% of the students went for internships in various parts of India.

Good infrastructure with the best location

Placements: Placements for computer science are very good in UPES. More than 50 IT companies have visited the campus. Dream companies like Microsoft Adobe, etc. came this year. The maximum placement was given by L&T this time. More than 90 percent campus placements. The college also plans an industrial visit for the students and every student gets internships. Industrial tours are mostly to Bengaluru.

UPES has strong placements but you have to do it on your own.

Placements: We have excellent placements. I am a CS student so I know only about CS placements. My CS seniors' placements were excellent and 90% were placed. The highest package was 20 lacs while the lowest was around 2 lacs. Companies like Dell, Commvault, Adobe, IBM, LeenApps, L&T InfoTech etc come on our campus for recruitment. The internship is fine.

Best among colleges that take your 4 years and do not give anything but a degree, which is a waste.

Placements: About 85% of students got placed in computer science with an average salary of 3 lakh. The highest package was offered by Amazon at rupees 22 lakh and 1 student was selected. Microsoft has offered 9.78 LPA where about 5 students are selected. About internships, I will say that around 60% of students do remote internships through college and other than this, all students get internships in reputed companies with some of them getting PPOs also.

UPES- Batch of 2016 CSE with Specialisation in Cloud Computing and Virtualisation Technology

Placements: Placements for my batch especially cloud computing were good as almost 80 percent of the batch got placed in 7th semester. There were mass recruiter service based companies (Infosys, IBM, Persistent, etc), startups (Teramatrix, LeanApps, etc) and few product based companies (Dell, Amazon, Hackerearth, etc). Few of my batch-mates including me got a pre-placement offer after completing internship. The package offered in average was 3.5 Lakhs. Few students opted for off-campus placements and got go...

Satisfied with college faculty, administration and infrastructure. Dissatisfied with cultural fests.

Placements: The placements of our senior batches were good. As of now, 30 out of 45 students are already placed. The average salary being offered is Rs. 3.5 to Rs. 4.5 lpa. The highest salary is around Rs. 18 lpa. There were many companies that visited our campus, some major names including IBM, Dell, Convolt etc. Internships have been a little hazy till now. So far, only Dell has come for internships in the campus, and only 6-8 students were selected by them from the total 13 sub-branches in CS. The colleg...

Good location ambience and surroundings. Need better quality infrastructure and faculty. Serves different domain courses that actually is a plus point if students are guided in the right direction. Placement cell is doing great job in bringing up new and number of companies but I guess they should aim for higher packages also.

UPES is one of the finest college in India when it comes to Petroleum Engineering. The campus is located in a peaceful area away from town on a hill. The infrastructure is pretty good as compared to other colleges but is not so big since you can't have a big campus on a hill. The campus hostels are also very good including nice living area and food but there are limited number of seats, generally filled by Petroleum Engineering students. Around 80% of the population lives in hostels/PGs located ...

Environment is really good in this college. Regarding placements I will say that its just satisfactory. Strict rules are there related to attendance issues. Getting backlog is really painful here. Teachers are also good. Location: Bdholi. With a vision and unique approach, UPES emerged as an innovative institution offering 88 industry-focused specialized programs in key areas such as Energy, Infrastructure, Transportation, Information Technology, and Legal Process.

Not completely dissatisfied as college puts a lot of efforts for students' bright future.

Placements: The course which I have opted was started in the same year in which I joined UPES. This course has a really bright future as it deals with AI ML, robotics and a lot more. The subjects are fine. Despite what is taught in the class, you should try to learn things yourself too through YouTube videos etc.
